Taehyung or Mr Kim made sure there was at least three of each crayon on each table. Placing the spares in his wooden desk draw. He sipped his tea from his "world's best teacher mug". It had been a gift from the previous year, a pastel mint colour with a white bear on it smiling a smile which mirrored his. He anticipated for the clock to struck nine so he could meet the new children he would make memories with. Taehyung valued each child, he adored them, these were one of the many reasons he became a nursery teacher.
He looked around the classroom making sure everything was perfect, for first impressions were important not only with parents but children as well. He pushed his matt black mullet backwards out of his eyes still slightly squinting them due to the sunlight. As he pulled down the blinds halfway showing random letters and numbers the bell rang. He straightened out his beige plaid shirt, which was tucked into black trousers, a knitted sweater keeping him warm.
Parents and children came rushing in, the sound of soothing hushes and wailing filling the room. He watched how some children cried hugging their parents while others clung onto them not wanting to let go. One child jumping onto his father's back refusing to be left behind, Taehyung making his way to help. As he attempted to help the father release from the child's grip, he noticed a small figure enter the room a young woman following behind.
The child looked way too happy to be left alone, a wide bunny grin plastered on his face, the women behind shaking her head at his enthusiasm her brown bangs covering her eyes slightly. Taehyung watched as the women helped the child remove his jacket showing him how to hang it in the cloakroom. Isn't it a bit lazy to make your elder child drop off the younger? he thought as he still attempted to pull the crying child away from his father. Of course, he was in no position to judge the families of the children he would be teaching.
He continued to watch the young child kiss the woman's nose, cupping her face as a return of her kissing his forehead, cheek and nose. He waved goodbye with his small hands, waddling his way to the table with his iron man backpack which was far bigger than him. Taehyung couldn't help but giggle at the small child. He finally managed to pry off the crying child from his father, the father practically running out.
The crying child making his way to sit next to the ironman backpack kid. The smaller child noticed the other crying, tears streaming down his now rosy cheeks, nose sniffling. The smaller child blinking a few times his mouth open in shock, before he pulled out a tissue packet once again with Ironman on it. He handed it to the other child rubbing his back, until the other stopped crying wiping his face. Taehyung couldn't help but awh at the child helping the crying one.
Once the last of the children had settled down Taehyung walked to the front of the class clearing his throat. All the children silently looked up at him big eyes, some smiles, while others had their mouths open wide in shock. The sniffles could still be heard as Taehyung let out a small chuckle and introduced himself. " Hi, I'm Mr Kim and I will be your teacher for the year, I hope we have some fun."
Taehyung spoke smiling at every child hoping to make them feel welcome. His hopes were met as some children gave a grin back while some shyly smiled. "Would anyone like to introduce themselves?" He asked to be met with an awkward silence, that was until the Ironman backpack kid stood up clearing his throat.
" Hi everyone, I'm Jeon Jungkook but you can call me Googie," he spoke slightly struggling to say his tongue twister of a name. His wide bunny grin seemed to brighten the whole room, everyone smiling back, and Taehyung couldn't help but clap. Soon after thanks to Googie's confidence everyone introduced themselves, and they were now enjoying themselves drawing some pictures.

It was now past lunch and all the children of the class had chosen to sleep except Googie. He hummed to himself as he drew another picture for his mother. A small yawn came out his mouth, making his small doe eyes widen and if he was a cartoon character you would be able to see little stars in them. Taehyung made his way to the small boy, squatting down to meet his height. He called out the small boy, but he had been too focused to hear him, Taehyung now tapping the small boy on the shoulder.
A small "huh" came out of his lips in shock and he turned around to see Mr Kim, giving a small smile in return. "Do you not want to sleep?" Taehyung asked truly concerned after seeing him yawn again. "I'm okay if I sleep now, I won't be able to sleep later and that will be hard for Mama," He spoke words coming out in a pout as he thought about his tired mother. Taehyung didn't know what to say as he had never seen a child, care this much about his mother, instead only asking what he would like to do. Googie replying painting, in a whisper yell as he fist punched the air.
The bell rang indicating the end of the day and in came the worried parents, who only saw happy faces on their children. Each child greeting their parents with a hug showing them what they had done throughout the day. The parents thanking Taehyung as they took their child and left. Thinking he had finished Taehyung fell into his chair almost rolling away from his desk, until he saw a small figure sitting at the table looking out the door. It was Googie, his small hands clutching his face as he waited in anticipation.
He watched as Googie fidgeted, neatening out the three pictures he either drew or painted for his mother. Googie felt Mr Kim stare and looked up to meet his brown orbs. "I'm sorry Mr Kim if you wanted to go home," he spoke mouth forming a small frown as he felt guilty. Taehyung saying how it was fine still not over the fact how concerned for others this child was. Surely, he was brought up well. Taehyung and Jungkook continued to small talk until they heard the sound of heels clicking down the hall and stop at the classroom door.

Jeon Hyejoo ran from the bus stop to the school. She looked at the simple coffee brown strapped watch sighing seeing she was already half an hour late. Due to the bus running late in the morning she had gotten late to work meaning she had to make up for the fifteen minutes she had missed. She ran down the hall shouting an apology to the cleaner who had just cleaned the floors as she passed. Slightly skidding across the slippy hall floors she stopped towards a familiar looking wooden door at the end of the hall. It was open showing a colourful classroom the setting sun lighting it up with orange hues, two figures sitting in the centre table.
The two figures turned to look at her as they heard her steps. "Mama-bun!" Googie exclaimed running towards her opening his arms. "Baby-bun!" she exclaimed back mirroring his actions and enveloping him into a hug. He giggled as she tickled his sides giving him a peck on the cheek. Taehyung watched this heartfelt moment with a smile on his face.
Taehyung was now able to see the woman from earlier properly. She had a formal outfit on which consisted of Satin grey trousers with a matching blazer. A white shirt inside, her black lanyard hanging around her neck. Her brown hair tied up into a doughnut bun, her bangs pushed to the sides. Her facial features somewhat like Googie's except for her light hazel brown eyes, while Googie's were brown.
Her eyes infact were looking back at him a light blush appearing on her cheeks when she realised, he was unconsciously checking her out. The hazel orbs seemed to analyse his face and Taehyung couldn't help but feel flustered. She looked as he awkwardly smiled a box shaped smile his child like cheeks rising a red tint painting them.
She replied to his smile as she placed Googie down on the floor who began pouting. He watched as Mr Kim held out his hand to be shaken which she gladly did introducing herself, "Hello I'm Jeon Hyejoo, Jungkook's mother." Taehyung taken back by her introduction still introduced himself. " I'm Mr Kim, Jungkook's teacher or Taehyung." He spoke halfway covering Googie's ear to avoid his real name being heard by his student. Googie only giggling in the process of attempting to remove his hands.
Taehyung removed his hands and Googie moved closer to his mother holding onto her hands. Hyejoo apologised for running late Googie interrupting Taehyungs reply by whining about wanting to go home to which Taehyung chuckled and waved them goodbye. Hyejoo held onto his hand leaving the building as Googie told her about his day.
