"Are you alright Uraraka?" Izuku asked as he approached the brown hair girl and removed the slab of rock  and then lifting her up princess style.

"My right ankle... it hurts." admitted Ochako as she was blushing for being carried like a princess.

"T-TIMES UP!" they once again heard Present Mic announce as all the participants instantly yelled.

"Dammit, I only got 5 points!"

"Shit! My mom and dad are gonna kill me!"

While some others were thinking about Izuku.

"What was that guy?"

"He suddenly jumped at the robot."

"Did you see how he stretched his arms?!"

"I want him to princess carry me."

'They're missing the point...' a guy with glasses said mentally. 'Didn't they see? He jumped out to save that girl.' he said looking at the brown haired girl.

'Of course, if this had been an exam I would've done the same thing and helped save those people!' the blue haired boy thought to himself before immediately realizing what he just said and how hollow it sounded. He could've easily just that with his speed but instead, he was to worried about possibly losing his points and risking people's lives for points.

As he was busy berating himself, Recovery Girl was on the scene. One of the flashy examine with a belt gave a short intro about who Recovery Girl was while she offered Haribo candy to a few people. When she reached Ochako and Izuku, she glanced at Ochako's ankle.

"Who's that?" asked one of the participants.

"Haven't you heard? That's Recovery Girl, she's the reason why U.A can do these types of things." one participant said.

"Missy, are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?"

Y-Yeah, my ankle is broken."

With that, she kissed Ochako's hand, letting her quirk heal Ochako's ankle.

"What about you sonny, are you alright?"

"I'm fine," waved Izuku, "There are several others I didn't get the chance to look at yet."

Recovery Girl nodded before trotting off to help the others. Mentally, she knew that Izuku would be a shoe-in for the Heroic course, but there was no point in spoiling that surprise.

Izuku after making sure Uraraka was alright, said his goodbyes and began to walk off. But Ochako called out to him, wanting to apologize for him losing his points because of her.

"Nah, it's alright. I'll just make it all up from the theoretical and academic portion." Izuku said before giving of his little laugh. "Shishishi."

But Ochako easily saw through that laugh as she watched Izuku walk away. Once Izuku was out of view the look on his face changed to a look of sadness, he believes that he broke his promise with Shanks and Ace as well as Koby.

Meanwhile

Momo was sitting in front of her desk, reading some advanced chemistry books to further her quirk. She peeked at her cellphone and couldn't help but remember when she first met Izuku at the restaurant. But she quickly brushed that thought away as she began blushing.

'W-Why am I remembering that? He was just defending his friend.'

But her thoughts were soon cut off as she heard her phone go off. When she looked, she saw it was Izuku who texted her. She started reading the text with her smile slowly disappearing the more she read it. She quickly jumped got up and began changing her clothes as quickly as possible.

"Mom, I'm going out!" Momo shouted as she donned a jacket to finish her attire and shoved her feet into her boots.

Izuku sat on the shores of Dagaboh Beach, watching the sunset as the waves gently lapped the shores. Every now and then, a piece of trash would come up, and Izuku would just stretch his arms to grab it and toss it into the nearby trash can. He wasn't too worried about trash building up here, as the nearby community had decided to actively patrol the beaches for trash now that it was down to a manageable level.

"Guess this would make Kacchan happy, knowing that I didn't get in." chuckled Izuku in a depressing tone.

"He did say he wanted to be the only one that got in."

He looked towards the setting sun, letting it's warmth wash over him as he pondered what to do next.

"There are other schools with Heroic courses." debated Izuku to himself. "Their exams don't start until later in the month, I could always go for those. Shiketsu High has the same prestige as U.A., but it's so far away. Not to mention expensive as I'd probably have to move and rent a dorm there."

"Izuku!"

Izuku slowly got up and turned around only to see Momo.

"Momo? What are you doing here?"

"I read your text." said Momo as her breath heaved, aware it was making her already prominent chest go up and down, enough to where it could hypnotize many men yet Izuku didn't seem to notice.

"Please, explain to me how you think you didn't get in. Was it the written portion? The practical? I refuse to believe someone with your skill and smarts failed to get in."

Izuku told Momo what had happened during the exam. He explained how he fought the zero pointer that was about to crush Ochako and he came in and defeated it before it could happen.

Momo listened patiently as Izuku described to her what had happened. After finishing his tale, Momo was left to ponder about it deeply before it finally clicked on her.

"Oh Izuku." said Momo softly as she gave him a hug, "You're so kind, always watching out for others. But if you think about it more, then you'll find the answer. I know you made it in."

"Huh?" asked Izuku, unable to form an intelligent reply.

"Tell me, what makes a hero... well a hero? What defines their actions?" asked Momo.

"A hero is someone that can save others, even at the cost of their own safety." answered Izuku automatically, "It's not measured by the size of his/her power, but rather the strength of their heart. The courage to go beyond, like All Might."

"Exactly." smiled Momo as she pulled back. 

"Do you think a prestigious school like U.A. would overlook something like that? I'm sure the examiners were closely monitoring each examinee to not only verify the amount of points each examinee got, but to also check the aptitude of the examinee's quirk. Do you really think that U.A. would fail someone who can take out a giant robot that had many fleeing, but did so to protect everyone else? I doubt All Might nor any other heroes would agree with their decision to fail you!"

"So the last boss...," trailed off Izuku.

"Most likely just a lie," finished Momo, "There has to be something else within the system. It can't just be solely comprised of Villain points."

"T-Then that means I'll be the first quirkless person to get into U.A!" exclaimed Izuku as he picked up Momo and spun her around, causing Momo to blush madly. Izuku then placed her down with his own happy smile.

"Thanks Momo!"

"N-No P-Problem. I-It's what friends are for right?" said Momo as she was still a blushing mess.

Izuku then looked at his hand and clenched it into a fist.

' Koby. I did it, I'm keeping our promise!' 

Izuku then noticed the sun going down.

"I guess we should start heading back home then, it's getting pretty dark."

As Izuku and Momo said their goodbyes, Izuku was preparing himself for his entrance exam letter as well as thinking about what he should have for dinner.

'Hmmm. Maybe Katsudon and Meat." thought Izuku as he drooled at the thought.

2 weeks later

Izuku was lying down on his bed thinking about whether he should get back to training, he then decided to check the mail. When he went down the stairs of his apartment to check his mail he saw the letter from U.A, he grabbed it and quickly went inside his apartment.

"I hope Momo was right about me passing" said Izuku as he opened the letter and a metal disk fell out as it started to project a screen.

"I am here as a projection!"

"All Might? What's he doing here?"

"You may be wondering what am I doing here, well that's simple I am the newest member of U.A staff, now then lets get this started you passed the written exam with flying colors but your points were reduced to zero after going against the zero pointer."

Izuku then remembered all the people who told him to give up on his dream.

'Midoriya getting into U.A?! What a joke!'

'He finally gets it, he'll never be a hero.'

'Do you really think they would want you when they can have me?'

Every word that he remembered pissed him off to the point that he was gripping the arm rest of his chair to the point that a visible crack could be seen. Izuku was just about to turn off the projection until he heard All Might's next words.

"That's what you think, but in reality you didn't lose any points my boy, it was just a trick!"

'So Momo was right about the trap.'

"How can we turn away someone who puts others before himself? If you don't believe us then how about her?"

He then played a video of Uraraka talking to Present Mic. The video showed Uraraka talking to the pro hero as she offered her points because she thought she was the reason why he lost them all when he fought the zero pointer.

"We didn't just view combat skill but heroic deeds and that is why we have a different point system called rescue points! You received a grand total of 70 rescue points and combined with your 70 villain points making it 140 points in total making you top in the exam!"

"Welcome Young Midoriya, to your hero academia."

Izuku couldn't help but cry knowing he was one step closer to his goal. As well as keeping his promise with Ace and Shanks.
