First Day Part 1
Izuku D. Midoriya was excited, as today wasn't a normal day. Today was the first day of U.A, his dream school. He put on his shoes and grabbed his straw hat and placed it on his head, but before he left he looked at two pictures one of them being a picture of him and his adoptive father Shanks and the other being a picture of him and Ace with their grandfather when they were younger as well as a blond haired boy. He couldn't help but smile at the two pictures as well as having some bittersweet memories with the second one, he quickly shook it off and ran out the door with a determined look on his face as he headed toward U.A.
Izuku was now in the hallway frantically looking for his class. It was the first day and he couldn't be late. So he asked a fellow upperclassman if he knew where class 1-a was, The student had blond hair and blue eyes as he decided to help Izuku as he took him to his class. Once they got there, Izuku thanked the student and went inside his classroom as the student left to go to his own class with one thought on his mind.
'Something tells me we are going to meet again.' thought the student as he left to go to his own class.
Meanwhile with Izuku, to say the sight in front of him was chaotic was an understatement. Izuku saw the same blue haired kid arguing with Bakugo.
"Take your feet off that desk this instant!" yelled the blue haired boy.
"I do whatever the hell I want, you have a stick up your ass or something, hey what junior high are you from anyway extra?" replied Bakugo with a cocky attitude in his voice.
'Just my luck.' thought Izuku as he sulked.
Lida answered his question, stating he was from Soumei Academy.
"So a damn elite huh? I'm gonna have fun crushing you."
Lida was shocked by the blond boy's comment. "Crush me? Are you sure you want to be a hero?"
Meanwhile Momo was just sitting at her desk and saw how the blonde boy was acting so vulgar then turned to the door and saw Izuku.
"Oh! Izuku you're here like I knew you would." as she got up and walked up to him while smiling.
"O-Oh hey Momo, it's nice to see you here too." he said as he nervously smiled. This ended up catching Bakugo's attention as well as Lida's, he then spoke up.
"Oh it's you, you're the one who took down the zero pointer by yourself."
This in turn got the whole class's attention as they all looked at Izuku. Lida then started walking towards him.
"Hello there, I am Tenya Lida. I am from So-" but was then cut off from Izuku.
"I-I heard you say that earlier. And it's a pleasure to meet you, m-my name is Izuku D. Midoriya."
Momo then leaned towards Izuku and asked a question.
"Do you know him by any chance?" asked Momo.
"Y-Yeah, we met during the entrance exam."
Then Lida spoke up, getting Izuku and Momo's attention.
"Midoriya, I have misjudged you, you saw right through the exam didn't you? You are truly a better man then me, and for that I am sorry for the way I treated you."
"Oh no, you see Momo was the one who told me the truth about the exam. I just did what anyone would have done in that situation." said Izuku as he was about to sit down but felt someone hugging him from behind, he turned around to see Uraraka.
"You made it! I'm so happy you did!" she said as she let go of him and gave him a smile.
'Cute.' thought Izuku as he slightly blushed.
"U-Uraraka, thank you for trying to get my points back for me, I really owe you one."
This in turn caused her to blush. "H-How did you know?"
"Oh, they showed me a video of you trying to help me." said Izuku as he smiled at her.
"W-W-Well you did save me so I had to do something for you."
Momo who was slightly jealous, was about to get their attention until another voice called out.
"So you are here, gero." said a voice.
Izuku turned around to see Tsuyu Asui standing there in her uniform.
"Ah, Asui!" greeted Izuku.
"Call me Tsu." replied the frog looking girl.
"I prefer it that way."
A-Alright, but I insist that you call me by my first name then," replied Izuku before quickly introducing Tsuyu to Momo and Uraraka as he explained how they met.
"If you're here to make friends then get out." a man in a yellow sleeping bag said in a tired tone, causing everyone to stop what they were doing and look at him.
"It took you 8 seconds to quiet down, I'll have to fix that. I'm Shota Aizawa, I'll be your homeroom teacher." the tired man said as he got out of his sleeping bag.
Most of the students had one thought on their mind. 'This is the guy that's going to be our teacher?'
While most of the students blinked in shock, Izuku narrowed his eyes. He had a rather vast knowledge of most pro heroes, being able to recognize most of them by a glance, but this pro wasn't someone he was familiar with. Or rather, he couldn't recognize him from the top of his head.
"Now then, this might be sudden, but put these on and go to the field." stated Shota, pulling out a gym uniform from his sleeping bag.
'Where and why did you have that in there?' thought most of the students.
Meanwhile in the teachers lounge, All Might was finishing all the paperwork he had.
"That should do it, huh who knew being a teacher would be this hard." he said as he let out a sigh.
He heard the door open and saw Midnight come in.
"Oh hello Midnight, how are you doing this evening?"
"I'm doing just fine. The first years of class 1-a should be starting their exam pretty soon, knowing who their homeroom teacher is, he didn't take them to the orientation."
This got All Might worried as he knew who Midnight was referring to.
'Damn, he'll target young Midoriya right off the back.' thought All Might as he became worried.
U.A field
"Today, we'll be having a quirk assessment test to see were your at."
"Eh? But what about orientation?" asked Ochako, having read the itinerary.
"If you're looking to be heroes, you have no time for such leisurely events." replied Shota.
Shota then turned around to look at them all in the eye, causing a few sweat drops to break out.
"You all remember these eight activities you all did in middle school, right?" asked Aizawa as he held out his phone to show the standard gym test that allowed no Quirk usage.
"This country still insists on forbidding quirks when calculating the average of these records, which makes no rational sense. Of course, the Department of Education is procrastinating on this."
Shota gave them all a glance, locking on to Izuku. "Midoriya, you finished the practical exam with the highest score, right? What was your record on the softball pitch in junior high?"
"Seventy-seven meters." replied Izuku, causing Bakugo to growl in frustration. His own record was sixty-seven. He was confused on how he a quirkless person like Izuku got in.
'Was he looking down on me?!' thought the blond boy as he saw Aizawa pass the ball to Izuku.
Izuku glanced at the ball before looking out to the field while Aizawa had the app out to record the score. Izuku seemed to ponder a bit before giving a slight grin. He stomped his legs into the ground, cracking the ground a bit.
"I may have said do anything you want, but you better have a good reason for burying your legs in there," stated Aizawa.
Izuku just gave a small laugh. "Shishishi, you'll see."
Suddenly, Izuku twisted his waist all the way around, rotating his spine and causing most of his classmates to freak out at the sight.
"What the hell!?" shouted a male with red spiky hair.
"He's very flexible, gero," said Tsuya, putting her large finger on her frog-like face that didn't detract from her looks, but rather made her seem even cuter.
"Flexible? That's far beyond what anyone should be able to do!" shouted a girl with curiously long earlobe plugs.
Little did they know was that Izuku's 'quirk' wasn't even a quirk to begin with. After all there is no quirk that turns your body into rubber.
The students watched as Izuku made what seemed to be his 25th rotation before finally stopping, letting them see his twisted midbody.
"You all might want to stand back a little further." warned Izuku before he started to unwind.
Heeding his words, they all took three steps back, including Aizawa. Soon enough, as Izuku was uncoiling his body, he began to kick up dust as he kept spinning, his right arm extending a bit more and more.
"What in the world?" coughed a blonde haired kid with a black lightning bolt on the side of his hair.
"He's spinning fast enough that he can whip up dust." coughed another who had a bird head.
As Izuku was down to his last coil, he stretched his arm back even further.
"Gum-Gum Pinwheel!" shouted Izuku as he reeled his arm back and launched the ball far into the sky, never noticing Aizawa was using his quirk.
The dust settled as the students could only blink and stare at Izuku with shock evident on their faces.
'This kid, Nezu is right. He is a rare case.' thought Aizawa as he looked at his phone when it gave him the results.
1749.7 meters.
'Hmm not bad.' thought Aizawa as he showed the class Izuku's score.
"1749.7 meters? Seriously?" said a blonde haired kid.
'W-Wow I knew he was strong but not that strong.' thought Momo.
Meanwhile Ochako and Lida weren't shocked as they saw Izuku's power first hand during the entrance exam. Lida nodded his head in respect as he spoke his own opinion.
"Midoriya has a good handle on his quirk, really impressive."
"What the hell are you talking about four-eyes? That nerd is quirkless, he should be failing right now." said Katsuki as he looked like he was about to blow up at any second.
"Quirkless? What are you talking about, did you not hear about what he did in the exam?"
Then Momo came into the conversation.
"You're talking about Izuku right? It's true he is quirkless he told me himself."
Ochako overheard this fact as she stated her own confusion.
"What? But surely you're joking, how was he able to throw the ball that far? Could it have been a misdiagnosis?"
At this point the class overheard the conversation and started murmuring about whether Izuku was quirkless or not until Aizawa got their attention and confirmed what Bakugo and Momo said were true.
"It's true, I used my quirk on him to erase his quirk but it didn't work. That alone is enough to confirm Midoriya is quirkless, it seems his power isn't even a quirk at all it's a complete mystery."
The class was shocked at the revelation, they were shocked that a quirkless person managed to get into the U.A hero course and was able to throw a ball so far into the air. They all had one thought on their mind, being how could a quirkless person be so strong or what exactly was Izuku's power.
Their thoughts were interupted once they heard Aizawa talk.
"It's important for us to know our limits. This is the most rational step to form the foundation of a hero."
"We get to use our quirks for this?! Sounds fun!" said another student with pink skin and hair, along with horns.
Most of the students seemed to agree with her statement. Before anyone could say anything else, Izuku finally recognized who Aizawa Shota was by the goggles he had worn to block out the dust.
"Ah, you're the Erasure Hero: Eraserhead!" snapped Izuku as he finally recognized the man in front of him.
"You specialize villain capture, and can erase Quirks with your quirk just by looking at them!"
"Eraserhead?" whispered one student. "Never heard of him."
"He's an underground hero." said another, "He doesn't like to come out on tv much."
"Feh." scoffed Shota as he took his goggles off, though slightly pleased that someone recognized him despite he never appeared on television and mostly worked during the night, "Fun, you say? Were you planning to spend your three years here having fun while trying to become a hero?"
Most of the students fell silent at this while Shota began to give off a maniacal grin, "Fine then. Let's make this a game. Whoever comes in last place in all these tests will be judged hopeless and the punishment game will be expulsion."
"Ehhh!" shouted the majority of students as Shota slowly glared at them all.
"We're free to do whatever we want about the circumstances of our students," glared Shota as he pushed his bangs off his forehead to reveal a mocking expression, "Welcome... to U.A. High Heroic's Course!
