"A typhoon has now struck Japan recently .."
Those were the only words Todoroki manage to hear from the telelvision that turned on. He was spacing out, and everyone was either busy consuming their meals or listening to the weather report.
Todoroki was doing neither. He still hasn't eaten, for he was quite busy spacing out with eyes locked on the television.
Last night was- No, this morning was rather painful. Todoroki couldn't focus due to hearing all those things from Momo. He didn't know what to do at this point.
"Ah, Todoroki!" A gentle voice called out to him, breaking him from his staring session. He turned his head to the dining table to see Momo with a pleasantly comforting smile on.
"Are you going to eat soon? The food's going to get cold." She says, collecting the empty dishes from the surface of the table.
"I'll be there in a while." He said, turning his head back to the lit up television.
Momo just stares as he looked away from her. She sighed, a smile on, clutching the platters in her gentle hands, making her way to the sink, where Deku and Ochako were washing the dishes.
"Oh, Yao-momo!" Ochako greeted her raven beauty companion gleefully. Momo simply smiled at her, "Sorry I brought a whole load of dishes once again, this must be quiet difficult."
"Ah, no, it's fine!" The freckled young boy and the brunette said in unison. They both looked at each other before laughing at the sudden statements being said at the same time.
Momo simply smiled. "Thank you, you two. I'm glad you guys are helping out."
The said pair simply smiled at her, not showing any sign of concern regarding their job.
Finally, Momo finished her goal, fixing her bond with Todoroki.
Yeah, she's happy, she is satisfied.
But now, she's back to square one to find out who was the stranger texting her. It was frustrating to go back to another unfinished goal.
She didn't really mind not knowing the stranger's identity, she thought it was better off not knowing who it was but it felt like it was about time to meet them, to learn to an extent who they truly are.
She got really attached to the stranger, and she couldn't let go. If the stranger ends up being some kind of villain, she couldn't help but admit it wouldn't change her feelings for them at all. She grows attached easily.
That's why she still loved her distant father, still dreads to see her passed away grandmother, and still loves being by Todoroki's side despite the distance, which was now removed from the bond recently.
That thought was easy to exhaust her. After venting out to the 'sleeping' Todoroki, she was brought back to her lovesick state for the stranger, and it felt heartwarming, it truly melted her heart and made her flutter. It wasn't depressing, it was rather frustrating in an exagerrated way.
But, dang, just the thought to finally get to that extent to meet them, it's overwhelming.
She sighed to herself, a little pout forming on her lips, untying the apron on her waist at the same time. She layed it on the counter before heading upstairs, not noticing Todoroki's abscene and a plate still with food on the table.
[ ... ? ]
Todoroki stared at the paper, a ripped notebook sheet of paper, and the paper he got from the music room.
He layed it down on his desk, examining the two with intense focus in his hetochromia eyes. He had to skip meals for this, he hoped the endless time of searching finally lead him to understand the situation more.
The notebook sheet of paper, his guide. He looked at it constantly.
The paper in the music room, the missing puzzle piece to the mystery.
It was a sheet of music, filled with notes to a certain song. The song had no name, but he didn't care. The only thing that mattered was the name on the top right corner.
"Toga Ashton." He read the paper aloud.
"Is this why that Furukawa kid is here?"
Todoroki then went silent.
"Wait .."
"The library." He muttered. "The gravestone."
His eyes widen.
[ ... ! ]
Momo gasped from the vibration of her phone across her bedroom. She was busy daydreaming again, so it truly made that vibration jolt up from her bed.
She daydreamed a lot of the stranger again, how much she adored them and the possibilities of their true identity. Mostly just staring at the ceiling with a frustrated look on her face; furrowed eyebrows and pouting lips.
One of the many, many things to daydream about was the reciprocation of her feelings. Do they reciprocate to her feelings? She really hoped so. She desperately wanted her strong feelings to be returned.
Just imagining how pathetic she would look to the public, even to herself, it felt infuriating and frustrating. After that little vent of hers with the 'asleep' Todoroki, she couldn't but contemplate about it.
But, she was still quite happy unexpectedly. All she felt were positive vibes swarming her. Constantly, she reminded herself 'It will be alright', and she throughly believed it. She knew it will be okay in the end. She got into to some rough things in the past and manage to burn right through them and still escape in one piece.
She got up from her comfy bed, and walked her way to her desk, taking the phone into her gentle hands.
It was 'uwu' .

Momo felt her heart pounce. She felt it jump to the height of the Empire State Building. She felt her heart fly to space, to the point she reached a new universe in her grasp. She felt overwhelmed, basically.
Meeting the stranger? Meeting them at this time? At this worst state of hers? All of sudden?
Despite all those boundaries and flaws, she couldn't help but smile and laugh happily as she fell on to the cushions of her bed. Like a normal, lovesick school girl, she squealed softly as she typed a reply.
But, she hesitated for a while. Momo would have thought further with this decision, she tends to be cautious usually in any situation despite circumstances, she is going to be a hero afterall. This isn't Momo though, this the smitten Momo, the lovesick and driven by her feelings Momo, and when you like someone, you would do anything to be by their side.
Er- Or, at least, that's from the author's experience. The author is quite naive, no doubt.
If you, the reader, can't relate, then I, the narrator, salute you in a respectful way.
Momo instantly began to type on her smartphone, bubbly and excited as ever.

She awaited for a reply.
'I might regret this later .. But I don't care.' The smitten Momo thought to herself this statement.
When you're in such an absolutely smitten state, it really brings you to make decisions you know you're going to regret later on. You pretened you don't care and don't mind, though you clearly know a huge lump of guilt will haunt you after the experience.
Erm- At least that's from the author's experience.
Momo's phone finally vibrated, signalling a reply.

Momo grabbed her coat immediatly.
[ 🌧 .. ]
Like she said in the text message, the 'typhoon' was quite decent. The full impact the typhoon hit the city's location last night, it must have drifted to another city.
It was a heavy shower currently, but Momo could handle it in her comfy sports attire and little raincoat, together with a pastel pink umbrella.
She walked out of her dorms casually, but during her journey to her destination, she was clearly hesitant, awfully terrified and nervous.
'Do I look weird? Do I look strange? Is my voice alright? Is my hair okay? Ahh, what if they're disappointed I'm not the Yaoyorozu Momo I thought I was? What if they're really a girl? Why did they still ask me believing them though during the gender reveal? Do you think they did that to .. test my trust on them? Is that why they were so careless about me not believing them? Is that why? Are they a young boy? Is it that freckled young boy with purple hair? Is it .. Wait, I'm going off track, aghh ..'
Momo's mind was a mess. Flashbacks to previous events made her truly nervous and regret her decision. More anxious thoughts from the smitten student piled into her head. It increased her anxiety for sure.
She sighed as she finally entered the building, closing her umbrella. About after three sets of staircases up, she'll find him there. It felt like walking on a tight rope as she stepped on each step, and every step she took was another increase to her regret.
She was getting doubtful at this point. Emergency? Why now? What has happened anyway? It was so nerve wracking yet exciting in such a strange way. Her heart was thumping hard, could it all be a lie? Why in this weather specifically? Why now specifically? What made the stranger dread this? What? Who are they?
One more staircase to go. Momo was trembling at this point.
Was this valid? Was this okay? Doubts start to build up in Momo's head. It's going to be a villain, is it? Maybe a scary man, maybe some kind of weird woman, who knows who could it be! They could be lying they're a student of U.A, and that terrified her. Why all of a sudden? Why so early in the morning? She gripped the pink umbrella in her hands
She was shaking. Exactly two more staircases up, and she'll see who's there, who's there waiting for her prescence.
One step.
Momo hesitates. Slowly lifting her foot up.
Two steps.
Her eyes immediatly land on the first form of live that appeared. Her heart stopped for a second, and her eyes widened.
A freckled young boy, with long, silky purple hair, and one thick lock blocking his eye. He had a pleasant smile on.
"Yaoyorozu."
He said softly.

wow another cliffhanger :") sorry bout that folks,, ive been busy these days. mystic messenger and writing izuocha oneshots, hhh. it's tiring?? hnghh?? anywHo!! you can find out what happens next on the next chapter
right now!!
Momo's eyes widen, and her body shook with sudden relief and surprise. Her body was pooled with intense happiness and nervousness.
It was him all along, that's what she thought immediatly after seeing the familiar young boy.
He was about one inch shorter than her, and yet he looked really petite in a cute way. He was wearing the U.A uniform for some apparent reason, and his body looked calm and collected. He had beautiful eyes, very calming.
"I-It's you .." Momo's voice was low, she was still overwhelmed by the sudden appearance of the boy that followed her around, she felt like crying. Her heart was still thumping with intense speed and strength due to her nervousness. Her body felt like it was splashed with a ton of different liquids that kept her body shaking with strong feelings of happiness. She was awfully relieved too, at least it wasn't an intruder or a villain (Or so she thought).
A wobbled smile formed on her lips before she ran up to him in full speed, little waterdrops in her eyes, giving him a tight embrace.
He hugged back, quite hesitant, and eyes wide. He smiled.
"I'm glad to meet you." He said softly.
Momo smiled, wobbled and too excited. "Me too!" She exclaimed.
Her heart was melting. To feel the stranger's touch in the flesh, to see them in person and their smile. She felt like she was slowly melting in his grasp at this point too. Her head was light, her heart was thumping, and she'd love to fly at that moment with happiness. Her head was still clearly a huge mess, smitten feelings all over the place, ignoring the doubtful thoughts in the moment, keeping her attention the stranger's warmth against her.
She was so, so happy. She was giddy, and she was holding in her little squeals. Her lips formed a really wide smile, equipped with a shade of light pink around her cheeks. Finally meeting her crush made her feel awfully giddy.
With such smitten feelings and a heart melting, she was not ready to be brought back to a 'traumatizing' time to her childhood.
When her cousin cornered her.
The young boy grabbed her wrist and pushed her against the wall, causing Momo to be caught off guard immediatly. She wasn't prepared for the sudden attack. Just a second ago her head that was just light and filled with lovely feelings, and now it suddenly pooled with intense fear.
Her eyes widen to see the boy before her smirk. She trembled, shook, shivered before him, eyes wide and irises small.
His smirk reminded her of that cousin of hers, his words were terrifying, his tone and vibes were horrifying despite her being cousin for quite some time. She wanted to say something, but all that came out was a soft and frightful gasp.
Fear immediatly took over, and she couldn't think straight. She was shaking, confused, lost with words. He simply glared at her with a smirk, his fangs sticking out. "Let's head back to headquarters now, Yaoyorozu ~"
Momo's breathing was becoming unsteady. She was so confused. Such a warm embrace and now this? What happened? Headquarters? Huh? Momo's head was a mess. All she saw was her cousin again doing the same act that terrified her as she grew up. All she could do was shake intensely, scared and horrified at the sight of the same childhood fear appearing before her at this period of her life. She thought she can find a way, she thought she could she can fight back and attack, but no, that same damn memory just kept playing in her head. It was scaring her.
Eventually, she was too afraid to fight back. She could, unless someone at least encouraged her, or brought her to her senses. Her cousin's words just kept repeating and repeating and she couldn't focus. The fact the boy before her is who she thinks is the person she's been talking for months and developed feelings for cornered her with the act that scared her as a child terrified her. It was horrifying anf she was practically paralyzed.
Wait.
Was this boy really the stranger?
Was this the boy she talked for weeks?
"I've finally caught you, don't make my efforts go to waste, uncle would be angry." His voice was low, monotone, lifeless yet so evil in its own manner. She was dying at this point. Her vision was getting fuzzy.
She tried to focus, but after stating several times, her mind was a mess, she was trembling hard under his grasp. She could escape but that stupid childhood memory kept repeating in her head. She was done for, whatever he was about to do next was something she couldn't fight back due to the 'trauma' of that wrist catch. She was helpless, and already gave up at this point.
She lets the fear take over, not bothering to fight back or analyze an escape despite their being plenty of ways to exit. She wasn't even sure at this point if this was actually the stranger, the boy who stole her heart. She continued to tremble, horrified.
When suddenly,
"Yaoyorozu!"
Momo's ears hear a familiar voice across the hall together with running footsteps. She knew who it was instantly.
Yup, you guessed it.
Todoroki Shouto.
< < < < < < 🕟
"Momo, do you want to become a hero? ~"
"Raku .. You're scaring me! please stop!!"
"Momo, answer my damn question first."
"Raku, please let go of me!"
"Momo."
"Let go of my wrist!!"
"Heroes do not make mistakes."
The young raven haired stopped her cries, and watches with fear as her cousin spoke.
"If you do something like that, if you do something wrong, if you become a coward, you are no hero."
Those words hurt her instead of encouraging her.
"You are a coward, a villain, if you make a mistake. Flaws are not allowed in your role, Momo."
Momo's eyes start to pour out tears.
The boy, Raku, smirked.
"See? You are a coward."
Momo wanted to fight back so bad, but she was so scared. She was shaking.
He lets go of her wrist.
"Return this novel, Momo."
..
"You coward."
Momo runs out of the room with a paralyzed mind and a thumping heart.
Those words glued to her, and it wasn't a sign of motivation at all.
