Momo stood there, startled at the sight of confetti flying like butterflies in the air along with the sparking flame from little candles on the large cake held by one of her closest friends, Uraraka.

The cake had the words "Happy Birthday, Yoaoyorozu!!" written with white whipped cream.

She remained silent, still trying to gather herself after the little surprise. Her mouth was agape, her eyes widened, and her body frozen.

Her eyes soon shimmered with happiness and joy, tears slowly starting to pour out.
Despite the sweet happiness she was feeling, no smile appeared.

"Eh? Are you crying?"

"Ahh! Yaoyorozu is weeping!"

"Argh, I told you guys not to be too loud!"

The class began to point fingers at each other, scolding one another for their unintentional acts.

Momo quickly brought herself back to reality and immediatly wiped away her tears. Her eyes soon land on her classmates arguing in a circle.

"G-Guys! It's okay, I'm just really .."

As soon as the birthday celebrant spoke out, all eyes land on her, their arguements fading away. They stare at her, curious yet dumbfounded of her reason.

Momo, at the moment, was uncontrollably sniffing, still wiping her tears. "It-It's just that .. I really thought no one remembered my birthday.." She said, soon dipping her face into her hands as she sobs.

"My mom didn't greet me, my dad didn't, you guys didn't. I thought you never would. And I'm just so happy I was wrong." She stated, desperate to stop her endless tears filled with little bubbles of joy and sniffs.

The class looked at each other before comforting with their laughter. Not mean giggles but rather comforting ones. The sound of kids (awkwardly) giggling happily at the result of their surprise.

Yes, she turned to a crying mess. But, the reason of her tears certainly made the class satisfied yet guilty that this is the way she responded to their kindness and gratitude.

Why should they feel guilty? Perhaps because they never intended to make her cry.

As they comforted the young girl and gave her tight hugs and light pats, Todoroki stood out of the circle they created around her, with a smile barely visible together with a satisfied yet guilty feeling in his gut.

"Wow, you guys certainly did took this event seriously." Momo giggled, gazing at the decorations while she sits at the end of the dining table surrounded by gifts.

She smiled at the sight of the banner, the confetti sprinkled on the ground, the flowers, the curtains looking grogeous and most importantly, the smiles the class gave her.

"And look! We prepared your favorite tea, 'Imperial Golden Sips!'" Kaminari exclaimes as he poured in the black tea inside the teacup set before Momo.

"It's tips." Jirou casually corrected him with a sort of annoyed look.

"Didn't know you were interested in tea, Jirou." Momo giggled at her friend across the table.

"Yeah. An example of tea would be the rumors of Kirishima accusing Bakugou for sleeping with Toga. Leading Bakugou to use Kohei Horikoshi's social media account to tell society to not make a fanfictions of the three all together."

"What?"

"Nothing."

Bakugou ends up glaring at the smug faced Jirou with Kirishima's startled eyes on her.

"Anyway, before we eat. Let's start with a simple cheer!"

Mina exclaimed happily.

"Cheers to Momo's last night being fifteen!"

The class then cheered with their teacups raised, unaware if it's even approriate.

🌌

Empty plates and a half-eaten cake sat on the table, lonely as the party went on.

The boys got hold of the laptop Mina owned aswell as the projector and a few old microphones with a huge speaker. Which lead them to have their own simple style of karaoke.

After finding interent source, they begin playing karaoke and lyric videos to sing along too. The rest of the class began dancing to the different songs.

Slow or bouncy, Class 1-A will always find a way to dance along with it.

"Alright! To our tenth song, everyone!" Kaminari cheered into the mic.

The class cheered back, tired. "Man, you guys lose energy fast!" He laughed.

"Well look, we've been dancing to 10 songs already. Of course we'd run out of energy." Jirou spat out, perhaps even hissing.

Kaminari simply cackled into the mic in reply. "Guess you can't play Uno with the lack of energy." He then pulled out a little transparent box which held Uno Cards. The class's eyes lit up at the sight of the deck's appearance.

With that, the 4 classmates has now formed a circle on the tiles. Due to the amount of classmates, they decided to make 4 groups and pick one representative who will represent their team. The rest of the members will be helping them during the game.

[UNO GAME INCOMING]

"Alright, let me start." Shoji began after receiving his seven cards. Pulling out a card from the stacked deck, he revealed a red colored two.

Whispers from his teammates roared into his mind. He places a red draw two card, causing Momo to receive the two cards.

She smirked, pulling out a draw two card. Everyone gasped.

"Hey wait you need to pull out a red card!" Shoji's team member, Sero complained.

"No, she should get the two cards then let Uraraka take her turn!" Mina, Uraraka's team member, protested.

"You idiots, Uraraka then gets the four cards!" Mineta, a member of Todoroki's team, soon joined in the argument with pride and anger.

"Hey wait, hold up! Receiving the two cards is for Yaoyorozu!" Jirou roared into the conversation.

"When this happens, the next person receives the cards unless she puts another draw two card!!" Kaminari screamed, jumping into the debate.

Momo couldn't help but snort at the pointless argument ongoing before her.

"Wait, isn't what Mineta said part of the rules? It's Uno afterall." As soon as the last sentence escaped Mina's mouth, everyone shuts up and gasps at her.

Some bursted into laughter.

"Hah! Two cards for your team, Ashido!"

"Hell yeah!"

"Woohoo!"

The class cackled and cheered at the sudden defeat Ochako's team received.

"Woah, wait. Since when was that part?!" Mina exclaimed with fury as she stood up.

"Ever since Uno came out!" Mineta responeded loudly with a smirk.

Everyone gasps.

"Todoroki's team draws two cards too!" Everyone cheers.

"W-Wait, that doesn't count!" Mineta screamed out.

"Fuck off Mineta! What counts is the number of fucks we give!" Bakugou shrieked back at him, his eyes burning in fury.

"Shut up! You don't even know what the game's name is!" Mineta shouted back with a smirk.

"I know, damn it! It's Uno!"

"Hah!"

"Wait what-"

The class began to laugh once again.

"Draw two cards, Shoji!"

(note; bakugou is part of shoji's team so their repersentative recieved the cards.)

"Fuck you all!" Bakugou screamed out.

Unexpectedly, Shoji made a bold move to shove his elbow into Bakugou's stomach.

He stumbled backward from the strong force Shoji produced. "Damn you, Octopus arms!" He was ready to pounce towards him but was luckily prevented from the other team members' grasp.

The class gasped and laughed at the sight while Shoji simply ignored it with an annoyed look as he drew two cards.

Exactly seventeen seconds into the game and the class was already a mess.

"Alright! Since Uno doesn't work, how about some twister?" Kirishima smirked, pulling out a huge white scroll from behind the couch after everyone packed the Uno cards scattered on the ground due to several arguments.

He then began to spread out the mat on a vacant surface on the confetti filled ground. Placing his hands on his waist, he smiled at the class.

"Who wants to join in?"

And after those words ran out of his mouth, Mina, and Toru stoor up.

"I want to join!" They both said in unison.

"Me too!" Kaminari called out. He then turned his head to Bakugou, "You should join too, Bakugou!" He exclaimed happily.

"Psh. As if I'd join a childish game like that, fucker." He grumbled, glaring at him.

"Psh. Guess you're too weak and no fun to joi-"

"That won't work." Bakugou rolled his eyes, aware of his technique to encourage him. After several successful attempts of letting Bakugou join in activities in the past, Kaminari's skill finally faded after Bakugou finally calms down and observes the situation and Kaminari's strategy.

"Damn, you really are some peasant, huh?" Kaminari said, still smirking.

"Are you talking to yourself?"

"Wow. Bakugou finally calmly insulted him. Calmly." Kirishima whispered after everyone gasped at Bakugou's insult.

"Honestly, I find it convenient to be a peasant instead of some salty boy with the fear of being included in some 'childish'"

"Good to hear." Bakugou mocked back, rolling his eyes as usual at him.

Kaminari was ready to give up at this point. After noticing his careless nature with the game, he hanged his head low in defeat.

"I'll join."

Suddenly, Kaminari suddenly hears a certain hetochromia eyed boy speak. He turned his head to immediatly to the right side of the room to find Todoroki with his hand raised.

"Hell yeah! Come on-"

"Did you just fucking pick half and half over me?!"

°°°

Thus, here they are.

Todoroki and Bakugou in an awkward position with Mina topping them both while a floating school uniform was below the two boys.

Kaminari ended up not joining due to the small space of the mat.

"When are you guys gonna give up?" Momo asked hesitantly, smiling awkwardly at the their current position.

Mina let out a groan in reply.

Todoroki remained silence with a face that clearly stated he was stressed and perhaps suffering.

Toru had no reply except for a few groans of pain due to her body's odd position and the lack of her flexibility.

While Bakugou did actually have a reply.

"Never in your fuc-"

At that moment, they all fell and ended up piling each other with laughter soaring inside the room.

°°°

Confetti sparkled on the ground due to the shining light the projector gave off to the wall's concrete surface. The quality of the film was splendid along with the clear audio.

After hours of dancing, playing, laughing, doing karaoke, eating, and so much more, the class finally calmed their wild party side by watching the film adaptation of a novel Momo read as a child.

She clearly remembered after school, she'd run to her parents' room to rob that novel off the shelf and hide it under the sheets of her pink bed.

After meals, she'd have naptime. And once her maid left the room for her to rest peacefully, she'd read the book.

When naptime is over, she would pretend she did sleep infront of her maid's eyes when she checks on the little girl after that long nap. Once the maid leaves once again, Momo would run back to her parents' room to place the novel back.

There was never a time she was caught.

Well, she was once. Her cousin caught her doing so and caught her wrist to corner her. She remembered that terrifying moment when he'd grip her wrist harshly with a plain smirk on his face.

It still remained as a traumatizing moment even for the mature Yaoyorozu Momo.

Anyway, the class were quite intrigued to this mystery, thriller film. Unexpectedly, that includes Bakugou.

The teachers joined in the party too. The rest of the teachers on the ground were enjoying the film while Mr. Aizawa was silently eating chocolate cake back at the dining table.

Currently, everyone's eyes were locked on the projector's light which presented a film. The movie was now reaching its climax, the murdrer was now to be revealed.

No one dared to blink to miss a second from the film. Some were even unaware they were drooling as they stared with curious eyes.

Momo was also attached to the film. Always scooting closer to the screen from time to time due to her excitement for the revealing of truths untold.

Despite everyone's eyes locked on the screen, Todoroki had his eyes stuck on Momo.

His palms were slightly sweaty from the thought the cellophane was still alone back at the couch, perhaps forgotten by the young maiden he had his eyes on.

Yes, it was quite obvious he was nervous.

He worked pretty hard for this. Asking advice from a certain person during fridays and saturdays, visiting plenty of flower shops to find the perfect bouquet before actually buying it on the big day and even taking a lot of time to write the birthday card.

- Way too much time actually.

Staying up late to find another phrase similar to 'thanks for existing' and 'you bright up my world' was unexpectedly a tough challenge.

Despite his worry about the gift itself, he was obviously worried about -

- well, her reaction.

Isn't it quite awkward?

After Todoroki spat out his thoughts at her last time by the staircase causing her to run off and noticing the little details of her like her brand new earrings and being bold about it, isn't it gonna be awkward?

During the party, they didn't even spoke. Not a single word.

'I guess I'm going to hide then.'

The party finally concluded to an end after Momo's thank you speech to the class.

Once the movie ended, they requested her to stand up at the front to speak out her thanks and gratitude to the event.

She started by clearing her throat.

"Everyone. Thank you. I must admit I'm quite nervous," She giggled, causing everyone to smile. "But, that will not stop me from telling you all I am very, really thankful."

"I never experienced simple parties like these and experiencing one for the first time with you all is just .. so splendid."

As soon as that comment slipped out of her lips, a few of the students turned their heads to Deku with a satisfied smile.

"I enjoyed everything, and I'm actually pretty excited to see the presents.." She laughed. "Whatever you're going to offer me is alright."

Her eyes soon land on Todoroki.

"I'll always be happy on whatever you want to give me."

"Hey, Todoroki. What do you get anxious most about?" Momo asked, flipping through the pages of her binder carefully.

He glanced at her in the corner of his eye. "Maybe giving something as a gift to someone only to get it hated." He said as he took another sip from the juice box in his hands.

He soon crumbled it and layed it flat on the stairs.

"Eh? What made you think that?" She asks, looking over to him.

He glanced at her, his arms resting against the surface of his knees before him. "When I was a child," He began.

"My mother was going through a really tough time. I'm pretty sure she still is til now though." The boy stated, turning his head to the front.

"So I got her a gift. A candle." Momo's eyes slightly widen. She knew his Mother was in a rather difficult relationship with her husband, whose quirk is associated with fire.

At that moment, she immediatly predicted it wasn't going to end well.

"And as expected, it reminded her of my dad, causing her to freak out more." He said, glancing at his current 'companion' from the corner of his eye. "She broke down into tears in the middle of the night because of it. I guess she was sort of terrifed I might end up like my father."

"B-But .. you just gave a gift?" His seatmate stared at him with confusion in her eyes. "I don't get it either. But I still regret it. The worse part was that she continued her breakdown until it was night, that includes dinner. I had no choice but to light up the candle instead of the lights to make her believe I won't end up like my dad." He replied.

"I wanted her to believe I won't ignore her breakdowns like what my dad does." He continued on, "I don't know if it worked though. I went to check her again after Natsu brought her dinner to her room after being locked in for the whole day. Her food was still there and so was the lit up candle. But she fell asleep."

Momo's perplexed look remained on her face, lifting an eyebrow as he explained.
"So from then on, you're more cautious picking a gift for someone?"

Todoroki looked over to her briefly, "Yeah. Though I rarely buy gifts nowadays." He responded.

Momo hummed shortly from astonishment. To think Todoroki Shouto likes to read romantic stories and takes time to purchase a gift is quite surprising for her.

She smiled. "That's really wholesome of you." She stated.

"But .. even if you know they're nice and all .. do you still remain cautious when purchasing one even if you're really sure that person won't you're reject your gift?" The maiden asked, leaning her head forward to take a good look of Todoroki (who was sitting one stair before her).

He gazed into her eyes briefly. "Well, yeah. It's basically a thanks to them being kind." He responded.

"But, when it comes to those type of people, I take more caution. I don't want to return their kindness with some useless gift." He said then proceeded to stand up from the stairs' cold surface, his bag hanging by his shoulder.

He looked over to her, "We should head back now. We still have some homework to do." He stated, before walking down the stairs completely.

Momo quickly closed her binder before shoving the book into her bag and running to catch up to him.

They walk in silence. A comforting type of silence. The silence two best friends were okay to live with because they know it wasn't the silent treatment at all. It's just the two shutting up.

Suddenly, in the midst of the silence, Todoroki spoke.

"Hey, how would you feel if I said you were one of those specific people?" He asked, eyes averting to the side as he spoke.

Momo's body bounced with a light squek at the same moment a dark red color was splashed all over her skin, heating her up.

Todoroki's eyes averted back to her briefly before looking away once again. "Never mind." He stated.

"And honestly, this whole party is already considered a huge gift for me." Momo chuckled as she glanced at everyone.

"The film was amazing, the food was devine, the cake was sweet and just .. everything about this party was honestly just splendid!" She exclaimed happily, her eyes sparkling in her bubbly state.

She gazed into everyone's eyes, showing complete honesty. "All of the hard work you've put into this truly warms my heart. I honestly believe I do not deserve this.." She said with a little smile as the class looked at her in disbelief.

'She's Yaoyorozu Momo. Of course she deserves this.'

"I'm just super thankful for all this. To close my speech, I'd like to say -"

"I wouldn't mind being with you guys for several years."

The class cooed and cheered. Multiple of female teachers and classmates sprinted towards her to give her tight hugs. The rest of the guys chuckled at the honestly heartwarming sight. Everyone continued to clap for Momo, cheering and yelling as she was tightly grapsed by her best friends.

Todoroki stared at the girls hugging her as he continued to clap. His lips slowly turn to a little smile. It was barely visible, but what was clearly visible was the shining happiness in his eyes. Well, only for Momo though.

"Hey."

Suddenly, the hetochromia eyed boy felt a little nudge against his ribcage. He looked to the side with the corner of his eye.

His eyes widen.

"You guys are here too?"

He spoke. His eyes slowly widening as he turned his head.

A nod.

"We were awaken by Ashido. We arrived here during the movie. But don't worry, Ashido only got the ones in their good behavior."

A chuckle.

"Also, yes. I spoke with Yaoyorozu. We spoke during the movie, how come you didn't notice my silhoutte?"

Another chuckle.

Todoroki stared blankly.

"So, what's your gift for her?"

His face soften.

"Let me just say that you're pretty mushy and childish about this kind of stuff. But, I guess that what most people are into." He said.

A giggle.

"It's honestly cute. It makes me smile too much."

A laugh. Then came a smirk.

"Anyway, what's the gift?"

Momo walked up stairs with boxes and bags piled up in her arms together with Kirishima and Todoroki carrying the rest of the gifts walking behind her.

"Yo-You know you all didn't have to help .." Momo stated, as she finished climbing up the stairs, her feet soon landing on the halls.

Kirishima giggled. "It's okay! You're the birthday girl afterall." He exclaimed happily from behind.

Due to the little amount of gifts in Momo's arms, she was able to reach out her hand to twist the knob of her door.

The door revealed a pleasant room with the sweet scent of jasmine. The boy's couldn't help but smile a little from the magnificent scent filling their lungs slowly and gently.

"Alright, just lay it on my bed." Momo states as she gently placed the gifts all over her bedsheet, walking a bit further to let the boys pass through.

They layed the bags and boxes down with a satisfied exhale escaping their lips.

"Phew, that was took longer than I thought."  Kirishima chuckled, cracking his knuckles in the process.

"Anyway, I'll head down now to clean up. Happy birthday once again!" Kirishima said before running out of the room with a little wave.

Momo waved back at him shortly with a smile, soon landing her eyes on Todoroki. "Hey, Todoroki. Are you going downstairs too?" She asked, her smile still plastered on her face.

His eyes, which were locked on the pile of gifts, gave Momo a little glance then soon land on the open black binder on her desk nearby plus her phone.

'She was writing?'

"Yeah. I will." He replied, turning his head to her. The hetochromia eyed boy looked back to the mountain of presents. "Where's the cellophane I gave you by the way?" He asks, not making eye contact with her at all.

"What cellophane?"

'I knew it.'

. . .

'Damn it.'

"I guess you didn't have it." Todoroki said, easily brushing off the topic in hand. He then proceeds to walk out of the room, "Happy Birthday. I'll see you tomorrow." He bids his farewell softly, but somehow walked out of the room in a faster manner.

Her eyes trailed along his figure as he faded away in the corridors, still quite dumbfounded of his previous statement. "Cellophane..?" She muttered to herself, confused and dumbfounded.

"What cellophane?"

She did forget.
