Chapter 5 (Part 1)
I can't believe I Kevin would do something like this, he only had one thing to do. Of course something easy a moron wouldn't understand to find simple. The one person I didn't want to deal with, I have to deal with anyways. I always have to do things around here.
This isn't going to end well, Lils she's wrong in so many ways. She's the reason how my father died, the reason my mother got sick. She is disgusting in every way, I absolutely despise her. Hate colors the soul. It spreads throughout the entire system, shutting down all other feelings, and becoming central to the life and the intent of the person.
Just her name alone shutdowns every nerve in my body, turning them into fire. It burns from the inside out, her name is like acid. There's only one way to get rid of her.
------
I trudged along the pavement at a sedate pace, my mind focused on the gentle footsteps that seemed to echo throughout the desolate street. Down the black ally with the hood on. I remember how it use to be, I remember my very thoughts I were thinking last time.
There was something in the darkness that was like a promise, like the world before dawn. It was a room as a canvas rather than a finished work of art...
Just like before I got to the metallic door and banged till it opened. Only knowing that many years have gone bye, Biggie would still be there.
" Damn gurl you persistent.." one said as I make my way in. He tried to push my out until he saw the two 45's in my pants covered by my jacket.
" Where's Biggie?" I ask looking around, I make my way towards the back. " I see your lazy ass don't move much still."
" And I see you have a problem." He says leaning toward on his knees. Looking at me head to toe, guessing he hasn't changed.
" Hear me out, I need a favor." I say standing in front if him seeing his damaged soul, sad eyes and his unconvincing smirk.
"Alright" His faced changed back to serious, knowing he let his feelings slip. Hearing my tone he sat up in his seat ready to get up.
" I need you to find Sherrie Viccardo, she goes by Lils. I need someone to woop her tiny ass... She messed with family." Not scared of a soul who surrounded me, Biggie stood up and touches my jaw. His rough hands slowly explore my body.
" I see you just as fine as before." I pull my jaw from jus dry grasp. Not wanting more. "I'd do anything for you remember?"
Chatter goes on next to us as Biggie whispers something in my ear. Nobody joins a gang without being a lost soul first. No-one goes to a monster for guidance unless it's their only option. Yet I can't underestimate this gang boy, however old he is.
I've known him for years and I know what ever he says isn't a lie, but I as I step out the door I whisper. " Pleasure doing business with you again B." Just like old times.
-------
I recall how my body jarred with each blow, how the pain seared through my skin and took away every feeling of safety I ever had. Enemies brings those painful memories back, I swore to myself that nothing will ever be worth the pain I went through losing my grandmother. Except one thing, Lils death.
I want to take out her heart and feel it pump for its last time in my bare hands, knowing she could never hurt of soul again. What she did, what she does is unbearable, despicable, unhuman.
It's not predictable anger or pain that's the worst, it's the 'randoms,' stuff you know is coming, just never when. The randoms work on the mind as a torture, elevating primal fear, decreasing logic and self-control.
Bambi, he froze, fear masked his body. Fear came over me also. Not even moments after I left Biggie's, she was there. In front of me. I could hear her breath, I could see everything. I felt as if I could see myself. I heard her gun click...
