One; Some love~

~Current time~

Marinette's P.O.V.

The blunette chuckled as the blonde mentioned the first time they met, fiddling with his string.

He held the blunette's pale hand. She spun around and looked at him with shock in her eyes.

"Did you know... The red string of fate.. Never breaks?" He smirked.

"Oh really, but model boy needs to break it to be with the mayor's daughter~" The blunette teased, chuckling and pushed the blonde's head away playfully. His smirk slowly grew into a frown.

"You don't like me, do you..." He looked down to the ground in embarrassment. Realizing what Marinette did, she patted him on the back.

"Hey. You know I'm kidding right? No one likes that bratty girl ..." She ruffled the blonde's hair and giggled. He chuckled.

She sighed and got up and started walking away.

"Well, I gotta help my parents at the baker-"

A hand grabbed and held onto her wrists tightly. She jolted back to the sudden movement.

"Wha-"

"Please.. Stay with me..?" The model looked right through her, causing a shiver to go down her spine.

"But I gotta he-"

"Pleeeeaaaaasssseeee."

She sighed and sat back down on the bench. She leaned onto the blonde's shoulder.

"How long do I need to stay for you before I can finally help my parents? The afternoon is usually rush hour for the bakery. And don't you have a photo shoot to go to..?" She smirked and leaned away as the blonde shot up.

"R-right... Free during the evening?" The blonde asked with hope in his eyes.

"Yeah." Marinette chuckled.

Walking into opposite directions, Marinette noticed some tugging on her pinky as she got farther away from Adrien. She shook her head and sighed and put her attention back to going to the bakery.

--

It was the same words over and over which tired Marinette.

"What would you like?"

"Just a moment."

"We'll make it as soon as possible."

"Here you go!"

"Have a wonderful day."

Her parents noticed how tired and annoyed she was and let her rest while they did the rest of the work.

Marinette noticed she still had her apron on and went downstairs again. The sound of her going down sounded like a heart beating.

Thump....Thump......Thump.....

She tied her apron on a hook along with the others her parents would use.

They're done already?

She looked at the time.

4:46.

Adrien's P.O.V.

Pacing around his room, Adrien wondered if Marinette was still busy. His phone buzzed with a notification of a message from Marinette. His heart raced as he grabbed his phone to see the message.

Hey, sorry for taking a while. Park?

For sure. Don't forget to bring the croissants~

Haha, I won't.

Adrien felt a smile grow. He sat up and looked under his bed for his coat.

Nothing.

He looked at the table near the couch. Since when was it there?

It looked so cold outside.

But he really wants to see Marinette.

--

He sat on the bench they would usually sit on, looking at the bakery for any figure to come out.

He casually sat there as something else caught his attention.

Someone had gave him a bone-crushing hug from the back.

"Ohh Adrikiiinnsss~!"

Marinette's P.O.V.

Finally she found the croissants.

She quickly but gently put them in a white box.

Still warm.

She grabbed her coat, scarf, and her mittens and quickly pecked her parents' cheek before using her foot to open the door.

She rushed to the bench and saw Adrien with the brat.

He looked at the blunette, some fear escaping from his eyes and mouthed 'Help me'.

Marinette sighed as she sassed the brat once more.

"How can you get the confidence to stand up to her?" Adrien asked while gently stroking Marinette's hair.

"Well... When she threats to tell her father about it... Next day nothing happens... I figured that she barks, not bite.. I don't know if you know what I mean." Marinette sighed,

As the blonde, popular model beside her was enjoying a croissant, not paying full attention.

He just nodded.

She chuckled, and looked at the string tied to her pinky.

"I actually don't know how red strings form..." The blunette mumbled.

"They are formed when the soulmates are born... Or at least that's what I heard..." Adrien's voice trailed off as he realized he was out of croissants.

Marinette giggled.

"You enjoy those too much.."

"I would be lying if I say I didn't have an obsession over them."

--

"I don't want to hear complaints, but I will be pairing you guys up." The teacher strictly announces.

Seeing how stern she was, everyone held in their groans when she called their names.

Marinette was too busy sketching when the teacher was announcing the partners.

She looked up when she heard her name.

"Alya and Marinette."

--

Hey. Can I come over?

Sure. Removed some posters though..

Awww. Don't want to hide your true feelings for him?

Oh, shush.

Haha. On my way with the textbooks.

Cool. See you.
