Trigger warnings: Suicide, depression
Two months after the wedding, Remington decided to look Andy up online. Partly out of curiosity for his clothing business, but mainly because he figured that he had a right to know what everyone else knew about him.
Just by typing in his first and last name, Remington found out that he was born in Lancaster on December 26th, 1990, that his parents were called Amy and Chris, and that he founded his business, which was called, 'Men Wear Pink', in 2010, which meant he was only twenty, and that made Remington both impressed and jealous.
There were multiple sites outlining the same expected facts, but there was one webpage that Remington came across, a news article, with the title, 'Founder and owner of 'Men Wear Pink' is in hospital following drugs overdose,' published in 2018. After a moment's hesitation, Remington scrolled down to read it.
Andrew Biersack, known for his clothing line, 'Men Wear Pink,' is currently in intensive care after an ibuprofen overdose.
Biersack founded the company at the young age of twenty, and was an overnight success, gaining millions of dedicated customers in a matter of months. In the first year, Biersack made a profit of 3.4 million pounds, half of which he donated to multiple men's refuge centres. You can read more about his donations and involvement with charities here.
In 2012, Biersack's company faced multiple lawsuits that were later revealed to be a plot against him set up by his employer, Ed Young. Men Wear Pink survived four police investigations which resulted in Young's redundancy. Biersack had a restraining order against Young that lasted for six months.
At the beginning of 2013, shortly after Biersack's 23rd birthday, there were multiple reports of unpaid staff at his company, which, after investigation, were proven to be false. It is still unknown as to who made these reports, though Biersack has said himself he suspects Young. Whether legal action has been taken is unknown
From 2013 onwards, Men Wear Pink grew rapidly, becoming the second highest earning clothes brand in the UK and Europe. In 2016, Biersack expanded to parts of the US, raising his annual profits by 1.5 million.
Men Wear Pink is the first clothing line to manufacture dresses, skirts, and corsets made specifically for men, including private fittings, made to measure, and commissioned pieces, and has earned multiple awards. Biersack is regarded by many as one of the most influential and inclusive fashion designers of the twenty first century.
Now, at twenty-eight, with a multi-million company and millions of dedicated customers and talented staff, Biersack's future is looking uncertain.
He was found in his bathroom by his housekeeper in the early evening and was rushed to hospital with an overdose and a suspected stroke. We are awaiting further news following Biersack's situation. To receive the latest updates, watch this page or subscribe here.

The Latest on Andrew Biersack - December follow up news:
In October, Biersack was in intensive care following an ibuprofen overdose. In a recent interview with a fashion magazine, he confirmed that it was a suicide attempt;
'I was dealing with a lot and had been since early 2013. I don't really know what to tell you, to be honest, other than that I reached a point where getting up and going to work everyday was making me so tired that I just...didn't want to do it anymore.'
[Do you regret it?]
'Do I regret it? No. Why would I? It was something that I - alright, this will sound fucking insane - it was something that I needed to do. I think if I hadn't, you know, if I'd pushed through, I'd only have done it a couple weeks later, and who knows what might have been the outcome of that. No, I don't regret it. I think it opened mine and a lot of other people's eyes to the realities of not looking after yourself.'
[What would you say to anyone who is considering suicide?]
'I'd say talk to someone, and don't stop until they listen. You deserve to be listened to, no matter how small you may think your problems are. I mean, I know what I look like. I'm crazy rich, what would I be sad about, right? Trust me, I used to think like that. But listen, everybody deserves people to listen and to help, no matter your job, your money, your lifestyle choices. Everyone deserves that, and if there's one thing I'd say to anyone considering suicide, it's to talk. To anyone. Just talk.'
[Do you think this has changed the way you run Men Wear Pink?]
'Not really. I mean, I take more days off, which is something I should have done a long time ago. I've seen a lot of stuff online about our new staff mental health support, but that's not new. It's been running pretty much since I made my first sale. It's just being talked about more now because of this. The only thing I've really changed is to respect my limitations and to take better care of myself. But when it comes to the business, not really much needed to change. I've always been happy with my management style.'
[Thank you for being so open with us today, Andrew. You're an inspiration to many, me included. Is there anything you'd like to say before we wrap this up?]
'Thank you. I really am so lucky to have the supporters I do. The endless love has helped me so much these past few months, and if there's one thing I wanna say to everyone reading, or listening, or however the fuck you're doing this, it's that you're beautiful, you have a purpose, and I love you. Keep being awesome, keep buying my clothes, keep rocking. Thank you for having me today, if you don't mind, I'm gonna go get dinner. It's been a pleasure'.
