"Hello! Welcome to our coffee shop! May I take your order please?" he asked. Regulus chuckled. He liked that James pretended that they didn't know each other. "Yes, an espresso please" Regulus smiled politely.

James nodded ansd wrote it down, "Anything else you would like?" "No" Regulus answered. "Okay! That would be 4 euros" James said. Regulus payed with his credit card. "And what was the name to be put on the cup?" James asked.

"You know it dumbass" Regulus said rolling his eyes. "Excuse you? I don't think I know you" James said. Regulus looked into his eyes. His own had widened. What the fuck? He blinked two times and came back to the reality from the flash backs that had ran through his mind. "Oh, I'm sorry. I just thought you wouldn't have completly forgotten. The name is Alex" Regulus said and stared at the counter.

Now it was James' turn to be in shock as the flash backs went through his mind.

James watched as a black haired young man stepped into the coffee shop. The man walked straight to the counter and before James had gotten another word out of his mouth, the man already spoke. "An espresso please. The name is Alex" the man said. James nodded. "That's 4 euros" James said. The man paid. James made the espresso and gave it to the man. "You have a nice name, Alex" James said. "Then it's a shame that my name isn't Alex" the man smiled, "it's Regulus."

That's how they first met a year ago. "That ain't your name" James mumbled. "Getting deja vu, huh?" Regulus asked with annoyed tone. "What is it James?" Lily asked coming from the kitchen to check on her fiance.

"We did it Reg! She accepted to be my girlfriend!" James smiled. Regulus' heart broke. He had forgotten it was fake dating all along. James just made it so real. But why had they had sex and make outs in private, if it was all fake? Regulus smiled. He was right. He didn't deserve to be loved. "I'm so happy for you Potter!" Regulus said. It wasn't Dear, Darling, Love or even James anymore. It was just Potter. "We don't have to hang out anymore. Isn't it great?" James grinned. "Yeah..." Regulus laughed. Then James walked away.

"Nothing, nothing" James said. "Hey, could you please make me an espresso as it seems like this dickhead can't do that?" Regulus asked. Lily crossed her hands, "First of all, that's my fiance!" Like Regulus' heart wouldn't be broken enough. "And second of all, we don't have that behaviour in our coffee shop," so it's their both's now "if you don't fix it, I'm afaird I have to kick you out."

"No no, it's fine Lily. I'm sorry Alex, I will start now" James said and started to make the coffee. Regulus turned back to Lily. "Isn't it strange?" he asked. "If you mean how James let's you go away with that, yes it is" Lily said. Regulus laughed. "Nah, I meant how people can change. First they tell to you about their undying love and then they can't even remember you" Regulus smiled. Lily looked confused for a reason.

A wave of guilt went through James. "Here's your coffee. I'm sorry" James said and handed Regulus the coffee. Regulus took the coffee and looked into it. "What are you sorry for exactly? For forgetting to do my coffee or for using me until you got her and then forgetting me completly?" Regulus asked. James wanted to cry.

"James Fleamont Potter, what is going on?" Lily asked getting impatient. "Oh darling. Only a year ago we met here. After that he kissed me many times. We made out. He fucked me. He told me he loves me. He made me fall in love with himself. Then he came to me. He said you accepted to be his girlfriend. He grinned when he said we wouldn't have to hang out anymore. Today he couldn't remember my name" Regulus smiled, but there were tears falling from his eyes.

"Just thought you would like to know who you are actually dealing with" Regulus smiled and walked to the door. He turned around for the last time and grinned to almost sobbing James and shocked Lily. "I'm happy for your engagement by the way!" Then he walked out.

"Was he joking?" Lily asked. "Of course darling, I don't even know who he is" James said. He didn't want Lily to break up with him. He looked to the door and saw another customer just walking in. Regulus was behind him looking straight into James' eyes. He heard it. Regulus nodded and started to walk further away. "Something is not right. Are you sure you are okay?" Lily asked.

James nodded and started to serve the next customer while Lily returned to the kitchen.

Regulus had always imagined, that he would have a loving husband next to him and they would be in the hospital, when he would give birth to their baby. The reality ended up being far from that. He had been alone, in his room. That was one week ago. He had thought it would be a cute way to tell James, by going to the coffee shop. It didn't go as planned.

He named the baby Alyssa Jane Potter.

He sold himself as a job to keep them both alive. He was smart, yes, but he was also trans so people didn't accept him to work for them. Only in working as a slut your gender didn't matter.

*** 10 years later ***

James couldn't possibly be more suprised when he saw the same black man step into the coffee shop after 10 years, with a black haired child. Regulus was just as suprised when he found himself there. "I thought I would never see you again" James said. The coffee shop was empty and it was already closed. James had just been cleaning. "Me too" Regulus said. Then James looked at Alyssa and smiled to her. "Would you like to test our new cakes in the backroom? We might start selling them, but we need someone to test them" James asked. "Can I go mommy?" Alyssa asked. Regulus nodded. Alyssa ran past James and through the door that went to the kitchen.

James and Regulus looked at each other. "How old is she?" James asked. "Ten" Regulus answered, "Today is her birthday." James smiled. "That's sweet. I see you got over us pretty soon though. I mean, it was all 10 and a half years ago" James said. "Do we have to talk about it?" Regulus asked. "Yes we do. You have a fucking child, Regulus" James said. "So what? It's not like you would really care about me, is it?" Regulus asked.

"I do care about you! I fucking love you" James said. "YET YOU DUMPED ME IMMIDATELY WHEN SHE STEPPED IN" Regulus screamed. "WE BROKE UP" James screamed back. Regulus fell silent. "I realised I loved you still and told it to her so she left me. I'm sorry I was a dickhead. And I see you finally got over me, as you have a child. But I still care" James said. "I never got over you, idiot" Regulus said. "Let's sit down and have a chat" James said. "Come here Alyssa! We are going home! This was a bd idea!" Regulus shouted to his daughter.

"No!" James shouted. He sprinted to the door and locked it, so Regulus nor Alyssa could leave. Then Alyssa came. "But you promised to me that you would show me who my father was as a birthday gift" Alyssa whined. Regulus bit his lip. "I would like to know that too" James commented.

Regulus didn't answer. He didn't want them to know. "Let us out" Regulus said. "Not before you tell me who that kid's father is" James said. "I'm going to call the cops" Regulus said. "I know you won't" James said.

Was it the time to tell them? Alyssa at least deserved to know but he wasn't so sure about James. "Why did we even come here anyways?" Alyssa asked. "To show you who your father is" Regulus answered and looked at the ground. "She isn't mine, is she?" James asked shocked. "I'm sorry I know you don't want to hear about me but she has been asking to meet her father for years and I just-" "Is mister cake my father?" Alyssa asked. "Yes" Regulus said. Alyssa looked between her parents. "Let's sit down" James offered. They did.

"Why didn't you tell me?" James asked. "Or me?" Alyssa added. Regulus sighed. "I don't know if you are old enough to know the full story" Regulus said to Alyssa. "DON'T LEAVE ME OUT OF THIS" Alyssa screamed.

"Fine, fine. relax. Everything started from here, when me and James, or mister cake man as you know him, met. I told him my name was Alex. We flirted a bit and then I started to come here daily. He told me he wanted this one girl. i offered we could fake date. We fake dated for three months. But it didn't feel like fake dating to me. That's because James kissed and fucked me in private. Then he told me he got that girl and we didn't have to hang out anymore. Then he left. The next morning I felt sick and somehow I ended up taking a precnancy test. It turned out positive. Naturally, Alyssa was born 9 months later. I had always imagined that James would be there with me and that we would be in the hospital. Then James actually did me my fucking coffee so I could leave. I also told her the whole story. When I left, I heard him tell her he didn't know who I was. So I did not end up telling him. But I didn't have any money and as a trans and a gay, people didn't want me to work for them. So I was left with one option. I started to sell myself as there your gender didn't matter. I also got payed well. I had one rule though, they had to use condom. The guys obeyed, which I am thankful for. I still do that to this day, still for the same reason. I still have the house, still Alyssa, still love James."

Regulus had spoken more to the table than neither of the people next to him. James wanted to kill himself from what he had made Regulus go through. Alyssa was shocked of how mister cake had treated her mother.

"You have to quit" James said, "I will pay everything for you. Every single thing. I have a lot of money from the coffee shop. Please. Let us be the couple we should always have been. Let me love you and take care of you." Regulus nodded, "but will you leave me again?"

"Never" James said. He felt horrible and wanted to make up for everything, "move to my place. It's huge. Please. I want to give you everything you want and more." Regulus nodded again, "Is it okay, Alyssa?" Alyssa nodded, "Can I finally have princess dresses?" "Everything you want" James smiled. Alyssa smiled. James leanes over the table and kissed Regulus. He immidately melted and let James guide him.

Oh just how much they both had missed each other.
