We finally reached Mike's house. And I felt safe in there. Because I have been living there for almost a week now.

Mike took Eleven to the bathroom to clean her nose. Me and Dustin sat in the basement.

'It is hard to understand,' Dustin said.

'What?' I asked.

'All of this, first Will disappears, then Eleven appears and has one magic power, then you suddenly fall in love with Will and then everything about The Upside Down, The bad men and so on,' Dustin told.

'Oh, well, I guess that it is better not to tell anyone, they wouldn't believe it,' I said.

'Yeah totally, and, it is okay that you like Will, Will is kind to everyone, it is easy for him to fall in love. You are not weird. I find you amazing,' Dustin said.

'Thanks,' I said.

'You are amazing too,' I said.

'Then don't make it weird,' Dustin laughed. Now that I thought about it, it was pretty weird that Mike hugged me when I was sad, even though he knew about me. I decided to speak with Will again.

'Will, are you there?' I asked in my head. No answer.

'Will, are, you, there?' I asked. Still no answer.

Maybe he was sleeping or doing something else. That's why he wouldn't answer. But deep inside I was worried. About him and the Demogorgon.

'Why is it taking so long to clean up a face?' Dustin asked.

'I'll check on them,' I said. I walked into the bathroom. Mike pushed Eleven away from him. Were they going to kiss? I decided to spare the awkwardness.

'Are you done yet?' I asked.

'Yes,' Mike said. Then I heard Lucas.

'The bad men are coming!' He yelled.

'What did you say?' I asked.

'I said: Yes,' Mike said. Suddenly I realized that Lucas was talking in my head and I was talking out loud.

'No, Lucas, he was in my head,' I said.

'But that means that talking to Will isn't possible by true love, your head is a walkie-talkie!' Mike said.

'The bad men are coming!' I said.

'Guys!' It was Dustin from upstairs. Me, Eleven and Mike ran to the stairs. Upstairs stood Dustin.

'I think the bad men are here!' He screamed.

We ran through the backdoor outside, grabbed our bikes and ran up the hill. Behind us were the bad men. There was one man different from the rest, he had grey hair and an old face, it could have been my grandfather's father!

I jumped on my bike and started biking. Behind us were four white vans chasing us down the street.

'We have to lose them!' Mike yelled. Then out of nowhere, Lucas biked next to us.

'Follow me!' he said. He took a left and we followed him. We biked down a hill, through a playground and we were back on the road.

'I think we lost them!' Dustin said. But then the three white vans reappeared behind us.

'Oh no!' Mike yelled. I was afraid that they were going to catch us. But then I noticed they were with three and not with four.

The fourth one appeared in front of us. There was no way to go around it. This was the end. But then the van flew up, flipped over our head and landed behind us, blocking the other three.

I looked over at Eleven. She did it, she flipped the van. We drove a little bit further and then we turned left again. We were back at the junkyard. All four of us threw our bikes down.

'You saved us,' I said and hugged Eleven.

'Say that you are sorry!' I heard. Mike apologized to Lucas.

'Are you finally friends again?' I asked.

'Yes, totally!' Lucas said.

'Oh and, sorry Eleven, for not trusting you,' Lucas said.

'I sorry for lying, friends don't lie,' Eleven laughed.

'By the way, I know where the gate is,' Lucas said.

'It is at Hawkins lab!'

'So we are going to find Will after all!' I said happily. Then we all hugged.

'Isn't it too cold?' Eleven asked.

'No, it is just fine,' chief Hopper said.

Okay so you're wondering how we got here, let me explain. After we had our group hug suddenly a helicopter came flying over, probably searching for us.

So we ran to the school bus that was right there. We hid when out of nowhere Lucas his walkie-talkie started making a noise.

I heard Nancy. Mike's sister. She asked where we were. That they knew about The Upside Down and the Demogorgon.

But Mike said it probably was a trap. Then the chief of the police, Hopper started talking. He said that if we didn't answer Will would die.

Mike said we still couldn't reply. But then finally he replied. Mike revealed where we were. And then the waiting started.

I started thinking about Will again. But this time I was happy. We almost found him. I tried to contact him through my head but again, no response.

I started to get worried. Were we too late? did the Demogorgon catch him? Then we heard a noise coming from outside.

It were the bad men because there were suddenly four white vans. We hid behind the benches. Then we heard punches. The door opened and chief Hopper came in.

'Well, what are you waiting for?!' he yelled.

We all hopped in by Hopper and he drove us to school. In the great hall were Nancy, Jonathan and Joyce. And then we were thinking of our plan. We had to get Joyce and Hopper to Will while distracting both the bad men and the Demogorgon.

'I know a way to see where Will is,' Eleven said.

Her English had gotten so much better since the day we met. Dustin called Mr. Clarke, better known as our science teacher. He asked about talking with people in another dimension.

'Fun,' he said when Mr. Clarke asked why. But we needed a lot of salt. Good thing it was winter. We set up a bathtub.

'Isn't it too cold?' Eleven asked.

'No, it's just fine,' chief Hopper said. Eleven laid down in the bathtub.

She was going into mind space, at least that is what she called it.

'Will, is… alive,' she said.
