'LET ME GO!' he screamed in my face. I startled and ran out of the room. Back in the house were Dustin and Lucas with Steve who figured out the code.

'Close gate.' Then they saw me crying.

'What happened?' Dustin asked worried.

'He just outed himself to everyone and Will,' Max said. She put her hand on my shoulder.

'Yeah, but why is he crying?' Dustin asked.

'Because it is hard to see Will like this when I love him,' I said.

'It is…' I got interrupted by the phone. And that was a major problem. I ran to the phone picking it up and putting it back down.

But it rang again. Then Nancy came, grabbed the phone and smashed it onto the ground. Now it was silent. Then Mike came worried to us.

'Will knows he is home!' As soon as possible everyone started to grab weapons and things to use as a defend to the Demodogs.

I started to get terrified. Joyce used the last injection and laid Will into his bed. Then outside were louds roars.

'They are here!' Dustin yelled. Everyone gathered in the front of the house. Suddenly out of nowhere a dead Demodog came flying through the window. The door started unlocking.

I was scared. Who could it be. Then the door opened and a very familiar person came in. It was none other than Eleven. I was shook.

Eleven actually came back after I saw her in school. Mike stepped forward and put his arms tightly around Eleven.

'Is that?' Max asked. Lucas nodded.

'I've called you, every night, for…' Mike said.

'353 days,' Eleven followed.

'But why didn't you respond?' Mike asked.

'Because I didn't let her,' Hopper said suddenly. Hopper took Mike to a room at the other side of the house. Then Eleven reunited with us. She put her arms around Dustin and Lucas. Then Max stepped forward.

'Hey, I am Max, I've heard a lot about you,' she said. She held her hand up. Eleven straight up ignored her. Then I got why she was so upset at school. She saw Max and Mike together and thought Mike forgot about her. Eleven came towards me.

'Max isn't the bad guy, Mike still loves you no matter what,' I said to her. I like Eleven. But I also liked Max. I wanted them to be good friends.

'No, I get it, just not now,' Eleven said. She hugged me and then went on to the next person. After she had reunited with everyone Mike and Hopper came back.

'Okay, so if we want to defeat the Mind Flayer we have to close the gate, but the whole army controller by him too, so Will would die too, unless we know a way to get the Mind Flayer out of him,' Mike explained.

'I have an idea,' Eleven said.

'I close gate, you figure out way to get Mind Flayer out of Will, then everyone happy,' she explained in her best English.

'It sounds like an great idea,' Hopper said.

'Steve stays behind with these Kids while me and Eleven close the gate and Joyce, Nancy and Jonathan get the Mind Flayer out of Will!' Hopper said. Then everyone started to leave.

'Wait!' I said.

'Can I please come with Will?' I asked looking at Joyce. She nodded.

'Sorry guys,' I said to the group.

'No, it is fine, do whatever you can to save your future boyfriend,' Max said taunting. I laughed.

Hopper had sent me, Joyce, Nancy and Jonathan to his cabin somewhere in the woods. When we arrived we put Will on the table and tied him up.

'How do we get this thing out of him?' Jonathan asked.

'Let's go through everything we have been through, the only thing he ever said was:

'He likes it cold' so that means,' Joyce said. 'That we have been giving him what he wants, we have to burn him out of Will,' Nancy said. Joyce walked to the thermostat. She turned it up to the maximum and then closed all the windows and doors.

'It isn't working!' Jonathan said. Will woke up. And things escalated in one of the worst moments in my life.

'Mom, it hurts,' he said crying.

'Make it stop,' he said while starting to shake.

'MAKE IT STOP, MAKE IT STOP, MAKE IT STOP PLEASE MOM MAKE IT STOP!' he yelled. He was suffering again. And I had to watch. Then suddenly all of Will his blood vessels turned black. He grabbed Joyce by her neck.

'No!' I said. Then it happened again. The same thing as on Halloween. I fell into my "mind space". I didn't know why I was there.

But then I saw Eleven. She sat with Hopper. She was almost at the gate. Then I returned to the real world. Joyce stood behind me. Watching how I had pinned down Will in his bed.

He couldn't do anything. Then I noticed I used only one hand. So I used the other one to grab the iron bar that laid in the fireplace. I poked Will with it.

The black blood vessels disappeared. A black mysterious fog flew out of Will his mouth. Breaking through the windows and disappearing into the night sky. Then I let go of him and the bar.

Did I have powers too? Just like Eleven? Then I noticed Will woke up. I couldn't believe I saved him and he survived again. I walked to him and sat down next to him. I helped him up and then put my arms around him.

'I told you it was going to be okay,' I said. He looked at me smiling.

'I am so grateful that I get to be your friend,' he said. He let go of me. Then he reunited with his mother. Followed by Nancy and Jonathan.

A month passed. Eleven managed to close the gate so everything is back to normal now.

Mike finally accepts Max as a party member. He now also owes her for saving his ass. Christmas came closer and closer. And so did The Snowball. The Christmas ball at school. I wanted to invite Will to a dance but I didn't dare. I already tried to see if he heard my speech and that didn't end that well.

It seemed like he didn't hear me. And if I would invite him to a dance with me he would probably hate me, or get scared. And I just wanted to see him happy. But I still looked forward to the Snowball. That evening I biked to school where Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Max were already. Will arrived a couple of seconds after me. We went inside.

'Are you excited?' I asked Will.

'I guess,' Will said. I smiled at him. He still was the quiet boy as always. I wish he had heard my speech. I tried to ask him about it before and that didn't end well. There we were as a group. We stood at the tables. None of us had someone to dance. Or they wanted to dance with someone but didn't dare to ask. But then Lucas started.

'Hey Max, nice music… Isn't it?' he asked nervously.

'Are you trying to ask me to dance stalker?' Max asked.

'No, unless, you, want to?' he asked.

'So smooth,' Max said and she pulled him to the dance floor.

Dustin had also left us. So there were me, Will and Mike. I knew Will would be left alone. I could feel that Eleven was going to show up and someone else was going to take me to the dance floor.

'Will,' I started. He looked at me with his beautiful eyes.

'Do you want to dance with me?' I asked.

'As a friend, so you aren't feeling left out,' I quickly added.

'Yeah sure,' he said. I took him to the dance floor and started to dance. We actually looked like a couple. While dancing I started to think back to everything we've been through.

I laid my head on his shoulder as sort of a hug. Then he laid his head on my shoulder too. Then we pulled are heads up and smiled.

'You're my best friend, really, I don't know what I would do without you,' Will said.

'Thanks,' I said.

'No, thank you, for saving me, twice,' Will said. I hugged him.

I wanted to hug him forever but I couldn't, well at least our friendship improved. And we danced till the was over and it felt like. Forever.
