Dawn didn't watch as Jeff drew her blood because she hated needles and the last person she saw girl her a shot also managed to get a right hook as well. Being the somewhat honest person she was, Dawn had told Jeff and Don ahead of time what had happened that time and now Don was the one holding her back so she wouldn't hurt Jeff. Rolling her eyes she could feel the needle prick and her right arm automatically went to Don's shoulder and squeezed yet he acted as though he didn't feel a thing. Instead he just looked into her eyes and told her that Jeff was almost done.

"You must be anemic, your blood is precious to you so I will make sure that I don't lose this." Jeff said casually as he put the vial of Dawn's blood into what looked like a small safe.

Jeff returned to Dawn and put what looked to be a band aide on the spot where the needle poked her. After that Don released his hold on her and waited to hear what plan Jeff had come up with in that short time.

"Well this is a as you humans would call a 50/50 time job. Fifty percent of the time you two will be here on the ship and the other half you will spend on earth acting like a normal human couple that way Don can learn and report back from his learning experience." Jeff began to explain to them.

"Oh great, he's Mork and I'm Mindy. That's all I need." Dawn sighed with a roll of her eyes.

"I fail to understand what you mean." Don spoke up.

"It was an old tv show, which I will just show you on earth much rather then explain. However how would you explain us suddenly getting together? No offense but I don't want to be with the guy who sleeps with everyone." Dawn said as she turned her back to Don.

"That was purely research I assure you." Jeff commented and then go the evil eye from Dawn. "A research experiment I will not have him do any long since maybe one day he could learn from you."

Dawn wasn't sure about this plan, after all what if the other two women he slept with suddenly remembered him? She didn't want to be known as the type of girl who would be with a guy like that. Looking back at Don she could see he did regret it and after all she would get to learn more about their kind as well and maybe be able to make a better story for her.

"Fine, but I'm not sleeping with him." Dawn said as she walked up to Don. "No matter what seductive moves you put on me buster I will shut you down with one swift kick between the legs."

Don's eyes widened as Jeff burst out into laughter once again. Gulping Don nodded his head. Something told him that what Dawn said was true and now everything between them was different, on earth they would pretend to be a happy couple but even if he did tell her he was falling for her he knew she more then likely wouldn't believe him.

"Good, now for our first specimen. We have brought this woman on board to study the female anatomy. She was quite willing to come with me as well." Jeff said leading Don and Dawn into another room to a table that had someone on it but a sheet covered them. "No need to worry about blood or anything, we mostly use X-rays like you humans."

Dawn nodded just going along with whatever Jeff said as he removed the sheet. Dawn squinted her eyes looking at the "woman" and found it a little odd that the woman had big feet and was really tall as well. Going off her instinct she walked up towards the woman's head.

"Beauty isn't she? Dressed a bit odd but can't complain I suppose." Jeff commented as the woman was dressed in a very tight red dress.

"This isn't a woman." Dawn spoke with a giggle as Jeff and Don walked up to her.

"How do you know?" Don asked as he stood by Dawn's right side.

"Women don't have an adam's apple." Dawn said pointing out the adam's apple on the man, not woman.

Jeff didn't know what to say, how could he have made such an error? Trying to think back on his actions he tried to recall where he went wrong. The human had all the right parts or so he thought.

"What about her well his um female parts?" Jeff wondered.

Dawn with no hesitation went to the top of the dress and pulled out tissues as well as what appeared to be ice packs that had melted before they were put where they were. Don was surprised that she was able to identify the mistake so quickly and pull out the tissues and other objects without hesitation. The human man started to moan and his eyes slowly opens.

"Oh, adding two to the mix, that costs extra." The male laughed.

Don looked to Jeff and held back his laugh as Dawn went back to his side surprising him a little. The male man sat up and tried to look around before Jeff grabbed a needle and knocked the man out with a knock out medicine.

"You two need help, especially in the female department." Dawn giggled as both Don and Jeff narrowed their eyes at her. "Oh come on! You picked up a guy hooker! Were you at a costume party or something?"

"Alright, back to earth with you two while I figure out what to do with him." Jeff said as he led them back into the main room. "You two will need to live together that way Don can observe."

"No problem I live in hotel so I'll just move in with him." Dawn laughed as she looked to Don who looked to be very happy with their new arrangement.

"Don, behave or she'll kick you." Jeff reminded him with a cackle. "Plus you two act like a couple so no one raises suspicion to Don."

"You got it." Dawn winked as she decided to play her part to the best of her ability.

"I have a bit of fear now." Don stated as Jeff just waved at them.

Later that day at the coffee shop, Don was busy making coffee and cleaning the cups as well as the coffee house. Ozzie hadn't seen Dawn since last night and he thought since she knew the coffee guy maybe he would know where she was, walking inside the shop Ozzie went straight to the coffee guy he now remembered was named Don.

"You, do you remember my friend who I came here with yesterday?" Ozzie asked Don.

"Yeah, I remember her, Her name was Dawn, why do you ask?" he asked curious to know what Ozzie wanted to know about Dawn.

"I haven't seen her since last night, have you seen her today?" Ozzie asked.

Just then the bell to the front door of the coffee shop opened and Dawn walked in with her bag she brought to town in hand. Walking over to Don she smiled and kissed him on the cheek earning a shocked and confusing look from Ozzie.

"Uh, did I miss something?" Ozzie asked his friend Dawn.

"Oh right, I forgot to text you, Don is letting me stay at his place, we actually knew each other as kids and caught up last night. Sorry to worry you Ozzie." Dawn told a convincing eye in Don's eyes to Ozzie who seemed to go along with the explanation.

"No problem, how weird is it you two ending up in the same town again." Ozzie laughed a little uncomfortable with the new situation.

Don could tell that Ozzie wasn't having a easy time adjusting to the fact that Dawn would be living with him, good thing that Ozzie didn't know the full story. Not that he would have believed it anyway. Dawn took Don's hand and held it in her's lacing their fingers together.

"Yeah, I use to have the biggest crush on him." Dawn said as she looked at Don. "Turns out her felt the same way so while I'm in town I'm giving him a chance, well us a chance."

"Great, well just meet up with me later ok? Probably tomorrow since it's late." Ozzie said as he waved to Dawn and walked out of the coffee house.

Dawn then went to the door and switched the open sign to closed and began to shut the blinds on the windows. Don watched her wondering why she was doing his job but decided not to say anything as he went to shut down the register and make sure all the cups were clean. Once Dawn was finished she went back to Don just as he finished counting the profits from the day.

"If you want him to believe we're a couple you have to get use to physical contact." Dawn said and Don turned to face her very quickly. "You know like putting your arm around me, hugging, holding hands and I guess even kissing."

"How would I become use to such a thing?" Don asked hoping she had an answer.

"Practice, like when I hold your hand, actually act like you want to hold my hand." Dawn explained.

"I do want to hold your hand, though I also fear it since you hit me." Don admitted.

Dawn felt bad about slapping him but felt it was something she had to do but shouldn't have done it out of anger or maybe even jealousy. Sighing she went to Don and gently touched his glasses and slowly took them from his face.

"I'm sorry, unless you really deserve it I won't do it again." Dawn said as she held her right pinky finger out. "I pinky promise."

"Pinky promise?"

Dawn then put her pinky around his and smiled.

"That's a pinky promise. You have a lot to learn and then report back to Jeff." Dawn laughed.

"You said we were like Mork and Mindy, who are they?" Don questioned.

"Oh right! Come on let's go to your place and I will show you on youtube." Dawn said grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the back to the stairs that led to his human dwelling.

Don unlocked the door to his dwelling and Dawn was surprised to see how normal everything was. This place looked like a normal apartment really, all nice and clean too. Probably proof that he didn't stay here very long if at all. Seeing a computer in the corner Dawn dragged Don over to it and managed to get to youtube and show Don a few episodes of Mork and Mindy. A show about an alien learning about humans by living with a human. Pretty much the exact situation they were in. Don watched completely focused on the show and Dawn was hoping that he wasn't going to start acting like Mork though. She loved Robin Williams but now one could be Mork like him.

"Do I have to say nanu nanu?" Don questioned earning a laugh from Dawn.

"No that was just something that Mork said, you don't have to act like him. I'm just showing you our situation is kind of like theirs as well." Dawn explained.

"Mindy did let Mork kiss her and eventually fell in love with him." Don said standing from the chair as Dawn went to the door and locked it. "Is that something you could do? Fall in love with an alien like me?"

Dawn turned around to find herself face to face with Don. A part of her really wanted to say yes because there was just something about him that truly made her want to stay with him and even get close to him but she was scared to death to tell him that. After all what would he do if she did say yes?

"Well, it took Mindy sometime, so I guess anything is possible?" Dawn said as she wondered what his reaction would be.

"You said we should become use to one another, may I try kissing you again then?" Don asked as his face moved closer and closer to Dawn's face.
