Jeff's POV

We did manage to get Dawn back to the ship and to say she was worn out would be a tragic understatement. Trying our best to make sure to keep silent around the now sleeping Dawn both Don and I were surprised to see Johnathon walk onto the ship. Don nor I had any idea that he was coming or what his reason for suddenly showing up was.

"Have you had any contact with the reptilians?" Johnathon asks nonchalantly.

"What? No we haven't why?" I question as Johnathon begins to walk around the room until his eyes lay on Dawn.

Stopping right before her Johnathon looked up at Don and I was a perplexed facial expression. Once again this reptilian was confused and we didn't know why. It wasn't like he really knew anything about Dawn so why would he be concerned with her being her?

"So this is where Dawn went, you two don't realize what will happen to her when the rest of my kind finds out." He tells us as he kneels down beside Dawn and does what appears to be checking her pulse.

"What does she have to do with your kind?" Don asked in a defensive manner.

"Not just my kind, the whole alien race now. You know the invasion that has been prolonged forever...they know about humans and our kinds reproducing and lets just say it isn't going over well with the higher ups. That is why I tried to drive a wedge between Don and her. If she is with us she is in more danger." Johnathon says as he runs his hand through his hair as if he were trying to think.

"Why after all these years does this create a problem?" I question this time.

"They don't want any signs of earth left, including it inhabitants. That includes any half species as well. You two are still working directly for them so it's only-" Johnathon starts only to be stopped as two other reptilians walk into the room.

Well... guess he was telling the truth because they were armed. One went to Johnathon while the other went to Don and held their weapons to their heads. Unsure of what to do in my situation I do take a look at where Dawn was only to find her gone. Where in the world did that little human go? The reptilians began to speak in their native language to Johnathon and Don probably telling them what they were guilty of or something like that. Just as they were about to terminate Don and Johnathon though Dawn comes up behind them and hits their heads together into one another.

"Really? You all are so advanced but couldn't deduce a way to get out of that?" Dawn asked as she looked at the three of us. "Advanced my ass."

Turning Dawn bends over and takes their weapons and hands one to Johanthon and the other to Don who just looks at her confused. Rolling her eyes Dawn takes the gun back and looks to me and Johanthon.

"Well? Any ideas on what to do now?" she questions us.

"There are other rebels like me, they are hiding out but they do have a plan to stop the invasion and its just crazy enough to work." Johnathon admits as he looks to Dawn. "They will be after you though now."

"I know, I heard you when you were telling them." Dawn sighs as she looks around. "Alright then what is our best bet? If I stay with Don then what will happen?"

"They will hunt you down and probably kill you for well you know being with Don in an intimate way. They don't want half species at all." Johnathon says as he looks down the hall at the sound of a door opening.

Looking to the monitors I can see even more reptilians walking down the corridor. Great for once he was right and now things were getting out of control. The others looked over to the monitors as well and knew that this wasn't going to end well. Three reptilians were on their way here. Standing the middle with Don and acting like we were waiting for them we watched as the door opened and Dawn was on one side of the door with the weapon in her hand. Without so much as a whisper she shot him point blank, the reptilian fell over dead. Johnathon who was opposite of Dawn shot the other alien behind the first and it too fell to the ground dead. The last however saw the other two died and turned to make a run for it.

"He will set off an alarm and call for others!" Johnathon exclaims.

Dawn turns and takes aim before shooting again but nothing happens this time.

"One round per gun." Johnathon shrugs.

Shaking her head Dawn drops the gun and breaks into a run following the alien now running for his life from a crazy red head. There was no way for him to escape, only a window which if he did try to jump out of would kill him. Turning back, he watched as Dawn approached him and jumping up with all her might she kicked out her legs kicking him out the window as she fell to the ground.

"You picked one heck of a human Don." Johnathon comments as we walk her way.

Groaning Dawn stands up and looks our way as all of us are still in shock.

"What? You three weren't gonna do anything so I did." Dawn says as she walks up to us.

"She needs to be away from Don just lay low for a while." Johnathon tells us as he looks around the ship.

"How would she do that? Everyone in that town knows she and him are together. "I remind everyone.

"I could go with Johnathon, obviously they don't like you but its less likely to them that I would be with you than Don." Dawn says making a good point but clearly not one that Don wants to hear.

"No, you still haven't been honest with me, I need to know why you are sick." Don tells Dawn taking her by the arm and moving away from the group.

"That was them, they want her gone. Anyway needed." Johnathon says as he sighs. "We don't have a lot of time, they will wonder where their other agents went."

That's when the alarm went off. All of us looked around helplessly trying to figure out which way they were coming from. Dawn turned to Don and quickly kissed him before she ran to Johnathon's side and pulled him down another hall. Don looked at me completely shocked. He couldn't believe that Dawn had just left him and with Johnathon no less.
