You and Max were at your house to hang out. You hadn't known Max for too long but you two felt an immediate connection when you guys first met.

Max was sitting on the bed looking through some comics she brought over while you were looking through your own pile while sitting at your desk in your room.

"Which one?" You heard making you look up from your comics to see Max holding up two with her adorable smile on your face. Just seeing how excited she was made a smile appear on your face as well.

"Wonder Woman of course. Do you know how badass she is?" You said to Max as she put down the Green Lantern comic.

"You have a point... but she's not as badass as me" Max said as she flipped her hair dramatically. This made you laugh as you got up and went to sit on the bed next to her. You looked down at the comic in her hand before looking up at Max and making eye contact. You two held eye contact before quickly looking back down at the comic as you felt your cheeks heat up.

For the rest of the night you two read through comics and just enjoyed each other's presence at that moment.
