The night was conforming into the deepest shade of purple with a hint of pink, eating up the hues of the sun-kissed orange sky from the afternoon before.

"Woah, I didn't know the HQ for BigHit USA will be in Beverly Hills." Maya gasped when she noticed they are driving near the side of town which she normally would shy away from.

"It was Hoseok's idea to secure the property here. It will give their label a good ground to kickstart." Lily explained, hands on her Cadillac, cruising across the mountain road, ascending a little from the city to the private villa.

"Are we going to the main venue?" Maya asked, curious to see the work of Hoseok in the flesh of her own eyes.

"Not tonight. I guess it's the soft launch for the night, we will be in their office tomorrow afternoon for the ceremony. Tonight is for a celebration and PARTY!"

"Is that why you were so excited urging Hoseok to put you in the list?" Maya laughed, joking with the younger blond.

"Bitch please, I am already on the guestlist before you."

"What?"

"I was personally invited by one of the label owners. Aha, suck it." Lily stuck her tongue out, teasing Maya as the Chindian girl gasped in disbelief but eventually started to interrogate which one among Suga or JK was Lily involved with.

Lily continued her queen bee attitude and refused to answer Maya as the older of the two felt the desperate need to find out.

"Well fine, I will eventually find out tonight." Maya scoffed, crossing her arms.

"Good luck! And ooh, you need more than luck tonight to stay intact too." Lily smirked, turning the table on Maya.

"Gosh, stop it. I told ya, no sex with anyone tonight. Nada. Get it?"

"I say let's get it!" Lily cheered as she professionally pulled over the driveway, ensuring to roar her engine like a beast to announce their arrival.

"You're creating a scene." Maya said as she noticed the incoming guests turned their heads towards the both of them.

"I don't dress to play low Maya, you shouldn't too. Now let's go get our men." Lily ruffled her blond mob a little, not applicable to Maya as her soft brown hair was curled but pinned into a gorgeous low hairdo.

Maya looked gorgeous after having a light natural makeup, mauve shades on her lips, bronzed cheeks with elegant updo on her hair.

Before getting off the car, Maya turned to Lily one last time and seek for validation.

"Do I really look ok?"

"For the nth time, you look like a bomb and guys can drop their pants down, dick up for you."

"Ok too much! Let's go." Maya's jitters inside her body were showing visibly outside as well when she fidgeted around the mini purse she was carrying, just enough space for some cash, her phone and lipstick.

She looked around and once felt grateful for trusting Lily for the night as everyone else dressed pretty posh, looking very handsome and beautiful. Maya can't wait to meet the boys and most definitely Hoseok, since he has been away for a week.

"Maya, do you mind if you go ahead by yourself? The boys should be in and Hoseok should have arrived too." Lily said as she was busy checking on her phone after passing the car key to the guard nearby.

"Are you ditching me for your loverboy?" Maya scrunched her brows, already dying in nervousness to enter the event venue herself.

"I am, now shoo shoo, go in. Kill it!"

"Lily, this is not a runway."

"Don't care, you look awesome, I love you, now get lost." Lily bid her farewell and went to the opposite direction, creating more curiosity within Maya on who is she actually seeing. Either Suga or JK, they are a catch never the less. Lily is a lucky girl.

Maya stood still for a few seconds, a couple of inhaling and exhaling later, she turned on her Gucci heels, ready to enter the event hall. She took her first step confidently and resulted in the motion of her steps to rise the split to her dress, showcasing her caramel thighs each time she moves.

You can say she looked like a goddess on earth, moving so sensually in a red dress. May or may not be aware on the effect she is giving as she walked in confidently but ever so subtly, flooring the males as she passed by and causing women to take a double turn, wishing they looked like her.

Of coz Maya being Maya, she was so oblivious on the attention she was getting, only focused on finding the 4 boys she knew.

"Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Coz it hurts me to watch you're not in my arms."

Maya stopped abruptly, her wondering face turned into a grin as she turned around, spotting Jimin walking towards her, few meters apart.

"I can recognize your useless pickup lines anywhere Park Jimin." Maya laughed.

"Thanks, at least it was good enough to pick up this angel over here." Jimin winked at Parker, who rolled his eyes and left out a huff before totally turning into an energizer, yelling on top of his lungs on how gorgeous his best friend is.

"MAYA LIM, YOU PIECE OF LITTLE GORGEOUS MUFFIN!" Parker hugged his best friend, careful enough to not ruin the outfit and hair on Maya.

"Stop it Parker, I look just fine." Maya shrugged it off.

"You look more than fine Maya, you look really beautiful. Hoseok will be hammered if he sees you." Namjoon raised the glass on his hand at the Chindian girl, drinking it while genuinely admiring the beauty in front of him.

"Where is Jin?" Maya noticed the older was not with them.

"He will be here shortly, running late changing diapers for baby Angel." Parker laughed.

"Poor Jin. By the way, you boys looking super dashing. Cleaned up crisp and fresh." Maya returned the compliments, low-key admiring the men in front of her, blessed with the visuals on each of them.

"That, I agree." Parker adjusted his bow tie.

"Now I need a drink." Jimin took a glass of champagne from the waiter who was passing with his tray, handing another one to Parker.

"Maya?" Jimin wanted to grab another one but Maya refused. She can't be drinking any alcohol tonight if she wanted to stay sober in order for her to talk with Hoseok.

Thinking about the raven head itself bubbled Maya's stomach like a bottle of champagne. Lily said he should have arrived, so Maya couldn't stop her eyes from searching around for the boy who she missed.

"Um Parker, did you perhaps, maybe saw Hoseok somewhere?" Maya lowered her voice as she pulled Parker to her level and asked him.

"Hoseok?"

Maya nodded, trying to keep it low. She didn't want to look so desperate in from of the cousin brothers.

"JImin, did you perhaps see Hoseok when we arrive?" Parker didn't hesitate to ask his boyfriend which made Maya growled as she expected her best friend to be tactful.

"Oh Hoseok? Nope, I haven't seen him." Jimin said, continuing his chat with Namjoon as some other fellow guests who potentially have seen Namjoon for the international conference started to engage in a conversation with him.

"There you go, we haven't seen him."

"Keep it low will ya Parker? I didn't wanna look so desperate in front of others." Maya said.

"Why? We all know you guys are pursuing each other. No biggie."

"There is something I need to tell you Parker. Not here though, too many people." Maya looked around.

Parker's brow raised, catching the nervousness in Maya's voice and the discomfort on her face.

"Hang on." Parker walked a few steps towards Jimin, whispered in his ears before pulling Maya towards the second floor of the villa, far away from the buzzing crowd on the first floor.

The duo reached the farthest corner of the hallway, turned right to the open balcony which is pretty much secluded from anyone's view even if they walked up to the second floor.

"Wow Parker, how did you know this place?" Maya said as she stood near the railing of the balcony, overseeing the entire city from a far distance as the cool night breeze brush past her body, making the dress to flow effortlessly.

"Been here for a couple of times. This is a good place to make out as well in case other areas get crowded."

"Ew, save the details." Maya scrunched her nose, crossing her arms and turn to face Parker.

"So Maya, tell me." Parker got right down to the business.

"Um..."

"Maya, you know you can tell me everything. It's been a month since we last saw each other. I can clearly see something is up in your mind and you're feeling pressed about it. I'm certainly not happy you didn't call me even when I was in Seoul."

"It's not that I wanted to hide from you Parker, I've been so busy."

"Busy with Hoseok?" Parker looked at her with a challenging gaze.

"Yes and no. Now don't go all bitchy on me k? I'm not the one to forget my best friend just coz I am going out on dates." Maya rolled her eyes.

"Fine. Then what is it? If everything is going on well with you and Hoseok, V and you are done deal, your job is smooth as a baby's bottom, then what is bothering you?"

Parker honestly couldn't tell what is bothering his best friend but there is sure something behind her worried look and unsettling body language.

"I had sex with Hoseok."
