Maya walked out of the ladies putting aside her heart-stirring conversation with Parker. She was not expecting to meet Hoseok so soon while mellowing down her curiosity with Taehyung, but she is not about to back down and disappoint the man who puts all his effort for her.

Her thinking only validated her consciousness when she came to the waiting area in front of the elevator, spotting the two said men who she just had a discussion over.

"Hello, gorgeous."

Maya's heart fluttered. Her cheeks flushed, making her to meekly lower her head down, grabbing the handle of her LV bag tightly around her fingers.

"Let's go." This voice was harsh, covering Hoseok's earlier sweetness into a pool of bitter mess. Taehyung's voice was dark and deep, it's a tone that only Maya can distinguish very well when he is displeased.

"Oh sure thing, after you." Hoseok ushered Taehyung in, who just nodded and entered, swinging his feet around, facing forward when he notices Hoseok was guiding Maya in with his hands over the curve of her back.

The dirty blond started his usual habit of chewing his imaginary gum, getting irritated with the scene.

"Where is Parker?" Hoseok said as the elevator door closed, but no sign of the purple head who was escorting Maya earlier.

"He will catch up." Maya answered vaguely, still a little sour from her dispute with Parker in the ladies.

"Are you feeling alright Maya?" Hoseok leaned closer, making the dirty blond behind them boil in anger as he noticed how close Hoseok is whispering to Maya's ear, hands still neatly adorned over her waist.

Maya simply nodded, hands still gripping onto the handle of her bag which held in front of her while she felt Hoseok's warm fingers rubbing her waist gently, channelling his concern for her.

Thankfully, the elevator must have heard her plea, as the door opened, revealing the rest of the boys and Parker standing at the front lobby, waiting for the trio.

"Parker? Did you like teleport or something?" Hoseok chuckled, releasing his grip on Maya.

"There is another side lift, I used that instead." Parker smiled weakly, eyes darting over to Maya who didn't say anything. He was sure that they will eventually get over the small talk that happened, both of them never carried grudges, like ever.

"Shall we?" said Namjoon, as soon as he noticed all of them have gathered.

"Sure, usuals?" Jimin asked as he put on his black shades, running his fingers through his silver hair, pushing it back making Parker steal his greedy glance.

"YES!" Parker was the first to jump enthusiastically, indicating the usual groups in the car to be Jimin and himself, Jin with Namjoon and Taehyung with Maya, leaving Hoseok out of the pairing.

"I will follow Maya then."

Hoseok said cheerfully, already standing in between Taehyung and Maya.

"Sure." Parker wiggled his brow at Hoseok which was caught by Maya who bites on her lower lip, knowing the intention behind that smirk.

The car ride was surprisingly so much less awkward than Maya was expecting it to be, she was seated at the back seat while Hoseok took the spot beside Taehyung, chirpily talking on some random stories along the way.

One thing that Maya love about Hoseok is his personality. Hobi has the ability to turn anything into a ray of positivity and his energy can make the strongest of stone heart to melt like lava, ushering his warmth in.

A small smile crept into her lips as she tucked her hair behind her left ear lobe, swiping the hair over her shoulder, looking out the window. Maya was ready to give Hoseok a chance and she was glad that its a man that deserves the world.

As Hobi was busy narrating his past experience and company history in general, Taehyung's eyes kept diverting to the rearview mirror to the beauty that took all the space in his reflection.

His possessiveness for the Chindian girl only grew stronger when he saw his competition right in front of him, in flesh. Taehyung had a plan, and his plan did not have certain cheerful sunshine hooping in out of nowhere.

At the very same day, early in the morning, when Tae came to the office, he instructed the staff to inform Maya that he would like to see her. Taehyung was not anticipating that the first knock he would hear on his door would be a man after his sweetheart.

Taehyung had no choice but to entertain Hoseok as his business partner and was gritting on his teeth when he noticed how well did he plan to surprise Maya with the one thing that made it special for himself and Maya, the hydrangeas.

Now, as he kept stealing his glances at Maya, he noticed how easily she started to blush around Hoseok. How she did not repel when he touched him on the waist like he used to. Everything is burning up inside Taehyung when he sees how his girl is in the hand of another man.

When Maya unknowingly tucked her hair behind her ears and exposed her inviting neck to Taehyung's view, his stomach made a churn, heart fluttered, wanting him to paint it all over again.

"Oh, I see them over there, I guess we are here."

Taehyung's fantasy was again short-lived when the male beside him started waving his hand at the window screen, as Namjoon and Jimin pulled over, followed by Tae.

Before Taehyung could even get down from his car, Hoseok was already out and opening the door for Maya. Taehyung gripped hard on the steering wheel, turning his knuckles in white, holding his anger in.

Can he even try to woo Maya anymore? He was quick to let go of the girl 8 years ago when he did not hear from her. Tae was disappointed, but he did not follow through and reached out as he should have.

Not to mention his act of fooling around, sex with whoever he could get within that short period of time before he left NYU was insane. He even kept his playboy act up until just weeks before he met Maya in Seoul, at his office, for the VC Project.

All because he didn't find the purpose to love someone truthfully after getting hurt from his first love. If only he knew fate is cruel and destiny eventually will prevail.

Maya on the other hand, has gone through her life in the utmost difficult phase, worked extremely hard, stayed focus to build her career, just so she won't have to be suffering on the street as an orphan.

"Taehyungie?"

"Y-yea?" Tae blinked his eyes rapidly when he saw Jimin standing by his side, shaking his shoulder.

"Come on, they're ahead of us."

Taehyung turned to see how the rest of them have walked further ahead, including Maya who is now talking and giggling happily with her boss, not caring or rather giving a fuck about him.

Suppose when she decided it's over with Taehyung, it was really over.

The ambience of the dinner itself was a treat to have on any normal day, to top with the delicious Korean cuisines rolling out from the kitchen to their table, was unspeakable, it was too good.

"Mmmm, I didn't know Seoul has such a gem!" Hoseok was having a hearty treat, as he instantly fell into a comfort zone with Jimin and Joon, not so much with Taehyung who didn't respond much to his queries.

"Yea, it's the bomb. Delicious isn't it?" said Jimin who was munching on his food.

"Indeed, you're lucky you came here earlier than expected, or else too bad for you Hoseok, you'd miss all the delicious meals. We have been well fed." Jin laughed, clapping his hands like a seal, cheering the table up.

"Yea, I was informed you're not supposed to be here until a week from now." Namjoon clarified coz he made the booking for Hoseok's stay at a nearby hotel, unsure if he will be comfortable to occupy their shared home.

"Oh, I had a sudden change of plan." Hoseok grinned, looking sideways at Maya, who blushed under his intense gaze, feeling the heat up till the tip of her ears.

"You mean Maya?" Jin smirked, as evil as he can get, exposing his boss.

"Shut up." Maya used her fork to stab at Jin's direction, attempting to threaten him.

"You're a little small bean, you can't hurt me." Jin laughed out loud again, feeling more adorable than threatened by the girl.

"Kim Seokjin. I swear I'll kill you." Maya gritted her teeth, low-key feeling the need to be intimidating.

"So it's really coz of Maya huh?" Jimin asked, unbothered by their tiny fights, which honestly looked like two siblings fake threatening each other.

Hoseok swallowed a gulp of his rice wine, confidently said "Yea, I'm courting her."

You can say it's either the effect of the rice wine or just poor Hobi still in the high of being finally able to stand close with his lady love, he just wanted to be honest. There is nothing for him to hide and if he wanna court and pursue Maya properly, he wants to be able to do it in public too.

"Really?" Namjoon asked, no longer disappointed but just slightly doubtful and maybe getting a final confirmation to rest his crush on her.

"Yea, isn't it Maya?" Hoseok's eyes sparkled, looking at the beauty beside him.

Her soft brown eyes caught the sight of the man, holding the world in his eyes for her. Maya felt nothing but pure warmth and care in her heart as she nodded, wiping the corner of her mouth and said yes.

"Wohoooo! Finally!!!" Jin cheered.

"Finally? Just how long have you been eyeing her huh?" Taehyung scoffed, not caring if he sounded bossy and mean. He swirled the wine in his glass before chucking them down, eyes on Maya, as he waited for the answer from Hobi.

"Um, it's been a while. She rejected me once." Hoseok chuckled.

"Is that so? And you still wish to court her when she rejected you once?" Taehyung's eyes now burned towards Hoseok.

Jimin furrowed his brows, why is Taehyung sounding cynical and mean?

"I um, I guess I really like her?" Hoseok said in a questioning tone, partially wondering what's with the tone on Tae's voice.

"Tsk Hoseok, are you asking me or telling me? What are the odds history won't repeat itself?" The dirty blond wiggled his brows, smirking cheekily.

"It won't happen again. In fact, I think we are planning a date soon, it's going well." Maya interrupted, not amused by Tae's sudden change of behaviour.

"Wait, we are?" Hoseok's mouth open agape, this is new info to him as well.

"Yes, in fact, why don't we do it tomorrow? I'm sure Jimin can have some good suggestions on where can we go for a romantic date, won't he?" Maya faked her smile, making sure Tae sees it.

"Sure thing, anything for you beautiful." Jimin raised his glass, completely ignoring the close commotion which was about to happen as Taehyung downed a few more wine on his own, never taking his eyes off Maya.

Did he just fuel the fire into an arson?
