Dustin's POV

The party was worried about me. I didn't want that. I just wanted to tell them because I don't like keeping things from them. Since Dart I've been carful about that.

They were all talking trying to figure out what they could do. But I don't know if there was anything they could do.

I was getting stressed and could feel another headache coming. Not thinking I grabbed Emily's hand and dragged her to my room. Leaving the rest of the party confused in the living room. "Woah Dustin what's wrong?" She asked. But I didn't answer I shut my bedroom door and sat on my bed rocking back and forth. Trying to breathe slowly.

Emily came and sat down next to me. I don't even know why I grabbed her hand. I could've come in here alone. Flashes of the void went through my head. The other me,the party in danger  and I could do nothing.

"No no no no no" I began whispering under my breath. I didn't want to go back there. Please no.

Emily took my hand,and everything froze for a split second then it came flooding back in. But not as intense as before. "Hey" Emily said with a soft and gentle voice her tone was soothing. I looked at her,her green eyes looking deeply into my blue ones. Her glasses framing her beautiful face. Her blond hair with its small curls. Nothing like my own hair but still there.

She looked at me so thoughtfully. So much,of something in her eyes but I couldn't pin point what it was.

Emily's POV.

I sat next to Dustin on his bed his hand in mine. His eyes puffy he was fighting tears. But that didn't distract me from him. His blue eyes so light and amazing staring into mine. His brown curly hair framing his adorable face. His hat that he always wore was casting a shadow across his face. I reached for it and took it of his head,and he didn't stop me. There we go now I could see him clearly now. His face a mix of emotions fear,sadness,hurt. And something else I couldn't pin point.

Dustin's POV.

We sat for a bit like that looking at each other our hands interlocked. And I found myself slowly leaning closer to her. She was so beautiful. She was distracting me from the void in the back of my head. Her just her and me.

I wanted it to stay that way. Only us. She leaned closer to me we were sharing breaths now. But I didn't mind I was to lost in her beautiful green eyes. Yet still I wanted to be closer to her.

I leaned in and put my lips to hers. They were soft and gentle. I pulled back she sighed and looked at me thoughtfully. It was then that I realized what was in her eyes I couldn't pin point before.....love.

This was a short chapter. But omg I loved writing that. Agh!! This is probably my favorite chapter so far!!
