In Y/N's bedroom, Y/N wakes up the next morning and paces around with worry on her face. She hopes Luigi is okay and makes it back to Mario safely. Even though she's a guest of Bowser, she still feel like she's in prison as she's not aloud to leave until the king say so as the Koopa Troopa told her from the door.

She stops to hear the door opening and turns to see General Koopa. He clears his throat.

"The king wishes to see you."

Y/N nods and follows him as he leads her out of the room. Throughout the dark hallway, she sees portraits of Bowser as a child, to teenager, to adult where Bowser stands in all his glory. She then spots a few portraits where she sees different kinds of Koopas as they appear to be little kids. She wonders who they are until the General eventually leads Y/N into the dining room where there's a table with all sorts of food. At the end of the large table, Bowser was sitting and waiting, looking off to the side.

"Bowser," Y/n called out, getting the giant Koopa's attention.

"Y/n," Bowser said as he stood up. "Welcome," he said with a small smile.

The General bows to Bowser before leaving and closing the door behind Y/N.

"So... what's this about?" Y/n asked, nervous.

"I thought- well, we might catch up," Bowser said, stroking the back of his head nervously. "I mean, we do have a bit to catch up on," he offered. Y/n looked at him and smiled softly.

"Sure, that sounds lovely," Y/n accepted. Bowser smiled before he pulled out her seat.

"My lady," Bowser said, getting a chuckle out of the h/c girl. It wasn't long before the two fell into a peaceful conversation.

As day gives way to darkness, their chat lasts longer than they had anticipated.

"How about we go and stretch our wings or limbs?", Y/N suggested with a hint of joke, getting up from her seat.

"G-Good idea!", Bowser shot up from his seat. He goes over to his Koopa Clown Car and hops on, making it float in the air.

Y/N was impressed by it. They approach the exit, as Bowser lets her go first like a gentleman.

She smiles and walks forward, spreading her purple wings out. The moonlight gave her wings a vibrant glow, much to his aweness.

Y/N glides out of the castle with Bowser following behind. She looks over her shoulder and cringes.

"Maybe you should rethink this entrance.", Y/N said. Y/N turns and accidentally bumps into a Piranha Plant.

She gasps, as the plant goes to swallow her whole if it weren't for Bowser rescuing her and covering its mouth. "Try thinking of this... as an adventure!", Bowser said, flying off.

Y/N looks back at the plant who growls at her. She smiles nervously and quickly flies after him.

"Nice plant.", Y/N said. They fly through the clouds, as they leave the flying fortress.

They eventually made it to the Dark Forest. Y/N stops and gasps to see giant cobwebs.

"Hey, how about we go back?", Y/N asked. Bowser then turns to her.

"Why? The moonlight is perfect right now.", Bowser asked. The moonlight then gives the cobwebs a good light, as the water drops that are stuck on the web glows blue.

Y/N was amazed by it. Suddenly, she heard a snap and turned to see Bowser lightly touching the Piranha Plants, as they each close their mouth, creating a path for her to walk on.

"Come on...", Bowser started. He turns to her and reaches his clawed hand out to her with a smirk.

"'Tough girl.'", Bowser continued. Y/N hesitantly steps on the closed mouth of the plant for a moment.

Seeing it not opening its mouth, she starts hopping and crossing onto each plants as she plays around. She did some flips and cartwheels with a cheer, getting a hang of this.

Bowser smiles at this to see her having fun. Y/N was about to take another step when she accidentally slips.

She gasps and was about to fall when Bowser catches her by the hand. She looks up to him in awe and he lifts her back up, before flying forward.

Y/N smiles and starts singing.

As he and Y/N approach the log, Bowser shows her a pack of wolves ambling past. Surprisingly, Y/N spotted a pup following after and noticed these wolves in the woods. After giving her a smile, Bowser begins to sing.

Bowser and Y/N started to fly up in the air again as soon as the pack left.

They take off for the tree whose branches are bare of foliage. Y/N becomes trapped and finds it difficult to free herself. After gaining her freedom, she frowns as she glances ahead and realizes that Bowser passed through without any trouble.

She is relieved when Bowser reappears and extends his clawed hand to support her. When Y/N gently accepts it, he draws her near to him, and Bowser soars through the branches without allowing anything to come into contact with or harm her. Y/N leans against him, feeling protected.

Pushing the leaf drapes aside, Bowser takes her inside a cave. Glancing inside, Y/N is startled to discover a cavern teeming with glowworms, creating the illusion of a starry night. They soar through the cavern, stopping upon the glowworms' ceiling. Each light goes off when Y/N gives them a little touch, producing a ding. With a gentle grin, Bowser observes, adoring her smile.

After emerging from the cave, they fly and dashed over the field. While racing, they jokingly shove each other. As the two fly toward the tree, Bowser notices that the field is filled of roses and snatches one. They ultimately circumvent it and reach the summit of the tree simultaneously, creating a tie between them. As those two face each other, the moon rises to provide a clearer picture.

As the song ends, Bowser places a rose in her hair behind her ear. Y/N smiles shyly, touching the rose.

He stares into her eyes, admiring them. She notices and stares back at them, as the time slowed between them.

Before they knew it, they drew near until their lips made contact before they caught themselves.

"I had a really fun time tonight," Y/n said, smiling as she touched a single strand of hair behind her ear.

"Me too," Bowser said. Looking to the side, he saw a F/C flower that matches Y/N's eyes and picked it from the tree beneath them. Giving it to Y/n, he quickly pecked her cheek, causing the girl to blush. "Let's head on back," Bowser suggested as he walked away.

"Yeah, let's," Y/n said, still dazed.

After returning to the flying fortress, Y/N sat alone, admiring the flower and couldn't stop smiling after that sudden kiss. She knows Bowser is thinking about that, as well as she could imagine him clumsily walking back to his throne, much to her amusement.

Her eyes widened in realization and shook her head. "Oh... what's the matter with me? You'd think a girl would learn.", Y/N sighed.

She stands up and starts to sing.

She throws the flower, and Kamek catches it before he and the others in the Army start to join the girl in the song.

The Kamek approaches her and dangles the flower above her head to take it. Y/N ignores him and walks away, causing him to frown and let out a blubber.

She then leans against it and smiles lovingly.

Y/N realizes that and immediately backs away.

She then sits down, and Kamek uses his magic to sneakily place the flower next to her.

Y/N places her hand down and touches something. She looks down to see a flower and holds it up, smiling.

Oh ... at least out loud...

Bowser's army sighs happily to see her falling in love as she's lying on the stone platform. She's thinking about Bowser while holding the flower to her chest.
