Wendy looks up. She has to stop him. She looks around and grabs a chair for her to jump on. She tosses the bat to the other side.

"No! Wendy!" Dustin grabs her. "No!"

"Stay! For once, listen. i cant have you die. Ill be back with him." She places her hand on her cheek. Dustin was in tears. "Please. Stay." She pushes him to the side and runs, jumping on the chair and grabbing on the ceiling. Here she goes. She lets go and lands hard on the floor.

"Wendy!" She groans in pain, rolling off her back and taking a second before she leaves to find Eddie.

"Dont come after me..." she tells him as she picks herself up from the floor and limps her way out. She yelled out for the Munson boy, no sign until a swarm of bats were surrounding him. Wendys eyes grew. She swung her back back and forth, trying to get to Eddie. The bats plopped on the ground, they're died. As the swarm dropped dead, Wendy saw Eddie on the ground. "Eddie! Eddie!" She screams for him. She drops to her knees, taking Eddie into her lap. He was covered in blood. "No god please no." Wendy sobs.

"How I do Byers?" He chokes on his blood but still smiling.

"You're an idiot Munson, why?" She shakes her head. "We were so close. Why did you do that?"

"I promised to keep you safe." He holds her hand. It was a nice comfort for him to have someone there as he dies. He wasn't alone for once. She actually cared for him.

"Eddie, please..." Wendy's tears fell on his face.

"It was fun right?" He chuckles. "It was an honor to be playing by your side, Metallica was a good choice."

"Yeah, it was." She nods.

"I remember the first day you came to Hawkins. I remember sitting behind you during English, you blasting Billy Idol through your headphones, then smiling at Jonathans locker, walking those halls like you are the shit. God I wanted to be your friend."

"You are my friend Eddie, my best friend." With her free hand, she brushes his hair back.

"Here." He trembles as he gave her his black stone ring. "Something to remember me by."

"Dont you dare die." She yells at him. "I cant have you die too." Wendy looks up and sees Dustin, limping his way to them. "Dustin! Dustin!" She cries for him. Eddie starts to drift away. "Hey hey! Wake up." She gently shakes him. "you're going to be fine."

"Im glad i made that promise to Steve, you deserve to be happy." Nobody has ever said that her. She actually deserves a happy life. His lip quivers. "You better name one of your evil spawns after me, i dont care what Harrington says."

"Of course, i will." She promises. "Ill make sure of it."

"Eddie!" Dustin comes in. He tries to take Eddie in his arms but Wendy wouldn't allow it. She didn't want Dustin knowing the pain of someone die in his arms. He was just a kid. She rather have her feel all that pain again then letting Dustin feel it.

"I didn't run away this right?." Eddie smiles at Dustin.

"No. No you didn't run." Dustin cries.

"You're gonna have to look after those little sheep for me, okay?" He nods his head, but Dustin didn't.

"No, youre gonna do that yourself."

"Nah man." Eddie shakes his head. He knew he wasn't come back from this. Matter in fact, he believed that this is better than going back to Hawkins, a town that hated him and wanted him for murder. "Say, im gonna look after them. Say it."

"Im..." Dustin cries, taking time to get the words out. "Im gonna look after..."

"Good. Cause I'm actually gonna graduate." Eddie chuckles weakly. Wendy looks up. "I think its my year Henderson. I think its finally my year. I love you man."

"I love you too."Eddie turns to Wendy.

"Smile just for me. One last time?" Wendy smiles weakly, giving what he wanted. Eddie smiles back at the girl who he liked since his junior year. The girl he dreamed of. Wendy noticed that he wasn't breathing, she closes her eyes and Dustin knew that his friend was gone. They both cried on him, hugging him. Wendy gently places a kiss on his cheek and forehead.

"Eddie!" Dustin tries to wake him up but couldn't. He was gone. The two sobbed until all of sudden, Wendy just stops. Dustin looks at her. Her eyes were white. He kicks himself back and watches as Wendy gets lifted into the air.

Wendy wakes up and sees 001. She tries to run away but he grabs her by the neck and slams her into the wall. She turns to see Max, she was gone. Vecna already gotten her.

"Max! Max wake up!" Wendy yells for her. Max didn't move. "Max, please!" Wendy cries. "No. No."

"You're not my final sacrifice. Maxine was." He used his powers to have Wendy trapped.

"But the five chimes-" she tried to get out.

"I needed you to get him here." He walks up to her. "I need him. If I kill you, he will come back for you, it will work. He cares for you." Wendy knew who he was talking about. Her lip quivered, she couldn't see due to the tears.

"Will..." she sobs out. Her baby cousin. "Leave him alone. Hes just a boy. Use me instead of him."

"Sad that you were now getting happy with your life." 001 puts his hand up, Wendys eyes rolled backwards.

"No!" El comes in, tossing 001 across. She ran to Wendy and and helped her get out. "Go!" Wendy sees El, she takes a moment to see if she is really here. She was. El pushes Wendy out of the way, as she runs, 001 stops her. A piece of wood stabs her through the shoulder.

"Gah!!" Wendy falls. One of the vines punctures through her chest making her gasp and El scream.

"Wendy!!"

"It always works." 001 stands up. "He cant live in a world without you. Once you die, i will have him." Wendy rolls on her back and looks at El. She gives her a smile, bloody and all. Anything to not make her scared.

"Am I okay?" Wendy asks El.

"You're okay. Everything is going to be okay." Wendy knew by El's face. It wasn't okay.

"El." She whispers. "You are an amazing sister. I love you El. Dont be scared." El takes Wendy into her arms. She sobs as Wendys body was limp. "Joyce! You have to tell Joyce that i said yes!" Her mind was slipping. "We have to look at dresses for the wedding! I want her to walk me down the aisle. Oh! My graduation! I don't want to miss that! I cant, me and Jonathan promised to walk that stage together!" Wendy looks up and remembers the good memories, smiling as she spent time with Jonathan when they danced in his room, hugging Joyce as she took her in after the night Lonnie hurt her, her parents, giving her the surprise that she officially adopted her, dancing with Will as he got ready for the Snowball, meeting Robin when they played volleyball, Hopper stopping her, Watching movies with El, and lastly her meeting Steve for the first time, kissing him, hugging him, laughing with him. A tear falls as she reaches out for Steve. "Steve..." she mumbles.

El watches as her smile fades and her eyes slowly looking down. 001 and El exchanged words, then he went up into smoke. El turns to Wendy, running to her side.

"No." She cries. "You dont die."

"Wendy!" Robin as they looked up at her, levanting off the ground. They all started to freak out.

"I thought he cant. He's-" Nancy freaks out. Wendys arm twisted, cracking, making everyone cry. But it stopped, Wendy falls down, Steve catching the fall.

"Its okay Wendy, im here, im here." Steve takes Wendy into his arms. She was covered in blood and her arm was all broken. Her body was all limped. "Robin! Nancy! Please!" Steve cradles Wendy, rocking her back and forth. "Robin! Shes not waking up!" He sobs. "I cant leave her here!" Steve puts his forehead on hers, whispering. "Please wake up. I love you. Please." He kisses her lips and clutches her shirt. "Dont leave me, please."

He felt a finger move, touching his arm. He looks back and back at Wendy. She was slowly coming back. "Wendy? Wendy!" Her eyes fluttered, she couldn't say anything, trying to. "Help! Its okay baby. I got you. Im here to take you home. Im here. Im always going to be here." Wendy closes her eyes from the exhaustion. Steve laughs as he pushes her hair off her face. She alive.
