"Eleven." Mike cries as he hugged the girl that came in. It was the girl Dustin was telling me about, the one with the powers.

"Mike." She softly smiles.

"I never gave up on you. I called you every night. Every night for-"

"353 days. I heard." Eleven smiles at Mike. They are so cute together.

"Why didn't you tell me you were there? That you were okay?" Mike worried.

"Because I wouldn't let her." Hopper said as he walked to Eleven. "The hell is this? Where you been?" Eleven and Hopper hugged.

"Where have you been?" She replied.

"You've been hiding her." Mike said. "You've been hiding her this whole time!" He hit Hopper.

"Hey! Let's talk." He grabbed Mike. We all stared. "Alone." Everyone came to say hi to Eleven. My aunt Joyce pulled me to her.

"Hey." My aunt Joyce hugged her. "This is my niece Wendy." She introduced me.

"Hi, the boys told me me a lot about you." I smiled and stuck out my hand.

"Wendy. Pretty name." I gave her a smile.

"Thank you." I said. My aunt Joyce hugged her again.

"Hey, sweetheart." They sniffed.

"Hey." They pulled apart from the hug. "Can I see him?" My aunt sighed. They walked into Wills room, where he was. I sat on the couch and waited for the next thing to happen.

"It's not like it was before." Hopper said as we all gathered in the room with aunt Joyce and Eleven. "It's grown. A lot. And, I mean, that's considering we can get in there. The place is crawling with those dogs."

"Demo-dogs." Dustin corrected.

"I'm sorry, what?" Hopper said.

"I said, uh, Demo-dogs. Like Demogorgon and dogs. You put them together, it sounds pretty badass." He smiles.

"How is this important right now?" Dustins smile fades away.

"It's not." He shook his head. "I'm sorry."

"I can do it." Eleven said. Hopper looked at her.

"You're not hearing me."

"I'm hearing you." She looks at him back. "I can do it."

"Even if El can, there's still another problem." Mike said. "If the brain dies, the body dies."

"I thought that was the whole point." Max announced.

"It is, but if we're really right about this I mean, if El closes the gate and kills the mind flayer's army Will's a part of that army."

"Closing the gate will kill him." I whispered.

"He likes it cold." Aunt Joyce said to herself as she closed the window.

"What?" Hopper puzzled.

"It's what Will kept saying to me." She looked at Will. "He likes it cold. We keep giving it what it wants."

"If this is a virus, and Will's the host, then-" i said.

"Then we need to make the host uninhabitable." Jonathan finished.

"So if he likes it cold-" Nancy wondered.

"We need to burn it out of him." Aunt Joyce said. "We have to do it somewhere he doesn't know this time."

"Yeah, somewhere far away." Hopper told aunt Joyce to take Will to a house. Hopper carried Will to the car and I walked outside with Jonathan.

"Hey!" I said as he stopped walking and looked at me.

"You're not going?" He asked.

"I should stay here. I don't know anything about these things, you guys do. Its better for me to stay here than go." I told him.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Nancy will go with you guys. And Jonathan." I said as I looked at Will in the car.

"Yeah?"

"You promise me you'll get that son of a bitch out of Will." Jonathan nodded. I gave him a hug. Everyone left, while, Steve, the kids and I stayed behind, taking care of them. We went to clean the house and i swept the floor.

"Hey uh Wendy." I turned around with Dustin and Steve carrying the demodog. I backed up.

"Yeah?"

"Where should we put this?" As they were referring to it. My eyebrows went up and i couldnt stop looking at it.

"God i dont know fridge? I dont know." I waved them off.

"Okay." Dustin said innocently. I cleaned the rooms and i heard fighting from the living room. "Demo-dogs!" He yelled.

"The chief will take care of her." Lucas told him.

"Like she needs protection." Max scuffles.

"Listen, dude, a coach calls a play in a game, bottom line, you execute it." Steve said. Did he really refer this to a game?

"All right? Okay, first of all, this isn't some stupid sports game." Mike said to Steve as he rolled his eyes. "And second, we're not even in the game. We're on the bench."

"So my point is-" Steve stops and trying to come up with something but nothing came out. We all just looked at him. "Right, yeah, we're on the bench, so, uh, there's nothing we can do." I shook my head.

"That's not entirely true. I mean, these Demo-dogs, they have a hive mind. When they ran away from the bus, they were called away." Mike said.

"If we get their attention." Dustin joined.

"Maybe we can draw them from the lab.
Clear a path to the gate." Lucas also chimed in.

"Yeah, and then we all die." I said as i picked up a broken glass.

"That's one point of view."

"No, that's not a point of view, man. That's a fact." Steve said to Dustin.

"I got it! This is where the chief dug his hole." Mike said as we followed him to the kitchen, followinv the drawings Will made. "This is our way into the tunnel. So Here, right here. This is like a hub." We went to the living room where theres a big circle in the middle. "So you got all the tunnels feeding in here. Maybe if we set this on fire-"

"Oh, yeah? That's a no." Steve cuts him off.

"The mind flayer would call away his army." The kids ignored him.

"They'd all come to stop us."

"We circle back to the exit." Lucas said as they talked to themselves, leaving me and Steve out.

"Guys." I said softly.

"By the time they realize we're gone. El would be at the gate."

"Hey." I tried to get their attention, but it didnt work. Steve claps his hands and the kids looked at him.

"Hey! Hey! This is not happening."

"But." Mike stutters

"No, no, no, no, no." Steve puts his foot down. "No buts. I promised I'd keep you shitheads safe, and that's exactly what I plan on. We're staying here. On the bench. And we're waiting for the starting team to do their job. Does everybody understand?" Nobody said anything.

"This isn't a stupid sports game." Mike whispers.

"I said does everybody understand that? I need a yes." Steve raised his voice. All the kids nodded without saying a word.
