A day passed, we haven't said a word to anyone about the move. I was so edger to tell Steve but Will came up with an idea how to tell the party that we were moving. He planned that we all go to the arcade, and had one fun time, for the last time. I was completely down, so was El. Jonathan on the other hand, he called up Nancy and well, they are in his room. We called everyone to see if they're down to go to the arcade, and they say yes.

"He said they will be there in 10." Will said as he got off the phone with Dustin.

"Just let me go tell Jonathan that we are leaving." I patted his back as i walked away. I knocked on the door and i walked in. "Hey Jonny, we're going-"

"Wendy!" Jonathan and Nancy yelled as they got off of each other. I stood in shock, not knowing what to do.

"OH MY GOD!" I closed my eyes as I realized that they were having sex.

"Close the door!" Jonathan pointed. I tried to close it but it was stuck.

"Im trying!" I tried pushing the door. Nancy started to laugh.

"Try harder!" I finally got the door to close. I slammed it and I leaned back. My eyes. My virgin eyes. I heard Nancy still laughing and Jonathan swearing. I slowly walked away and sat down.

"What happened?" Will asked. I looked up to him. I grabbed his cheeks.

"Stay young, please." The kids gave me a look. I gathered my thoughts. The kids got ready. Jonathan walked out with Nancy. "Can we just pretend like nothing happened? I would definitely recommend it." Nancy laughs. "In the mean while, fix the door." Jonathan rolls his eyes.

"Why didnt you knock?"

"I did! Probably you guys going at it like bunnies, you didn't hear it." I tried not to close my eyes, its still implanted in my head. "Change Of subject. We're going to the arcade, to tell the party." I told him.

"About the move?" Nancy said. I nodded.

"I guess ill go help Will with some money then." Jonathan walks away. It was just me and Nancy.

"So, you and Steve. Thats great." I laughed.

"Strange huh?"

"Cute." She sit down next to me. "So tell me, have you said i love you yet?" I shook my head.

"Not yet. But I know I surely do. I love that man with all my heart." Nancy smiles.

"Go on!"

"Steves just a great guy, he treats me right, treats me like im the only girl. He makes me feel like im actually worth something. I havent felt that in a long time." I blushed. "He gave me the ability to love again." Nancy gasps.

"Thats sounds like Steve." She told me. "Dont let him go." I looked at her. Hell no. Why would i ever let him go?

"Thats a promise I can keep." I smiled and looked down. What am I going to do when Im going to tell him about the move?

"Ready!" The kids ran out. I got up and grabbed my bag.

"Well, lets leave these love birds for the night." I pushed the kids out the door. "Enjoy your night." I winked as i closed the door.  I drove to arcade, already Steve was there, waiting for us. The kids nearly killed themselves as they jumped off the moving car. I parked the car, putting my hands in my jacket.

"Hey." Steve kissed me. The kids went inside. "They added a new game, maybe we can try it." He is adorable, he is definitely a nerd, he new all the arcade games by heart, he just plays it off.

"We can, but i want to talk to you." I pushed my hair behind my ear.

"A good talk or a bad talk?" Steve was getting nervous.

"We're not breaking up, thats all im saying." Steve puffs.

"Oh thank god, you scared me."

"Can we?" I pointed at his car. He nodded. We went in the car. He turned the radio on. He lowered down the volume. "Okay, uh, its about what happened yesterday."

"Was I going to fast? Oh my god im sorry Wendy. I shouldve asked! I didnt-" i put my hands on his chest.

"No! Not that! I actually liked that." I blushed. Steves eyes widen.

"Oh? Oh. You did." He smirked.

"Not my point but i did." I sighed. I didnt know how to put it in words. Steve grabbed my hands and waited. I looked at him. This was harder then it looks. "My aunt Joyce told us that we are moving." I looked at him. Steves eyes fell on me. It hurts to say it. A tear came out of my eye.

"Hey dont cry." He wipes it away. "We can make it work okay? You cant let me go that easy." I chuckled. "We're gonna make it right."

"I dont want to leave you." I whispered.

"Youre not. Im going to be here. Im not going anywhere. Im still going to be here, waiting for you." He whispered back. "When are you leaving?"

"In 3 months." I looked at him.

"3 months isn't going to change how I feel about you." I smiled at him. He grabbed my hand and kissed it. "You Wendy Byers are my world."

"You Steve Harrington are my everything." We sat there looking at each other.

"Okay, well, lets chill in here while the arcade dials down." It was packed believe it or not. "Favorite song?" I looked at him.

"Anything from the Beatles." I smiled. "My mom was overly obsessed with them.

"If you had to choose one song."

"She Loves You."

"Please, sing a verse or two." Steve leans in.

"Just for you." I coughed. I sang. I squinted my eyes from embarrassment. "That was horrible."

"You have a voice like an angel."

"Okay Mister, whats your favorite?" I crossed my eyes.

"Cant say." He smirks.

"Oh come on. Play it for me."

"If i have it here." He started to look at his tapes. He pulls out a tape. "You're in for a treat. This is a very long song, like very long, like 8 minutes long."

"Just play it." I laughed.

"At least close your eyes. You gotta be in the groove you know? You gotta imagine it."

"Fine." I sat still and closed my eyes. Steve puts the tape in and started to play.

A long long time ago

My smile faded. I knew it.

That music used to make me smile

I gasped. American Pie. I felt the snow on my face, laying on ground, cold, not knowing what to do.

Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry

I can see my mothers smile, my dads smirk. Like was living it over again.

"Im scared right now." I whispered to Steve. I felt his hand on my arm. "This song played when my parents died." I sniffed. "The day I lost everything." Steve didnt say anything. "I dont want to get hurt again."

"Im not going to hurt you." He whispers. I opened my eyes. He had a tear falling down. I wiped it away.

"They would love you." I gave him a smile. Steve leans over and so did I. He grabbed my cheeks and pulled me in for a kiss.

"Probably not your dad." He made me chuckle. The song still played. I took off his vest, tossing it in the back seat. I sat up and wrap my arms around his neck. I made way to his lap, he pushed his seat back, making more room. He started to unbutton my jeans, until there was a knock on the window. Steve groaned and wiped the window. It was Dustin.

"What!" He yelled. I turned red.

"We were looking for you guys." Mike said.

"Well you found us, now shoo." I got off of Steve and passed him his vest. We got out of the car. "You shitheads ruined the moment." We got inside. Max and El giggled softly as the saw me and Steve. Lucas and Mike just gagged. The kids went to do their thing and Steve and I went to played Pac Man. "Go left!" Steve yelled as i was about beat a high score. I went the wrong way. "My left not your left!"

"You could've said your left!" I dropped my head.

"Im kinda hungry." Will came next to me. I hugged him.

"Lets see what they got here." The kids gathered around. We bought, meaning me and Steve, got everyone a slice of pizza and a soda. They sat away from me and him. "They haven't told them yet." I looked at El and Will, debating to say it or not.

"They will. They just gotta find the right moment." We continue to eat. I slide in the booth next to Steve. I just put my head on his shoulder. Listening to the music from the arcade.

"Is it true?" I heard Lucas said. I looked up to see the party. Their eyes, they were sad. Will had tears. I opened my arms and he ran to hug me.

"Yeah." I said quietly.

"But-" Dustin stutters.

"You cant leave!" Mike said. He looked at El. El hugged Mike.

"Its not up to them." Steve said.

"We can still visit, just not as often." I told them. The kids accepted it. They cried it out. God seeing them just broke my heart. I cant see them like this. But they accepted it. Thats what matters, nothing bad happened. We are still a family, not matter what.
