Becky woke again a few hours later, but wasn't alone. Raditz was standing over her, checking her vitals. "Will you stop that?" She said as he began to poke and prod at her stomach. "No, now relax. This doesn't hurt, does it?" He asked. "Yes, now get that needle away from me!" She yelled at him, but he only shook his head and started to feel for a good vein. "If you're hungry I'll bring you some food," he said as he inserted an IV needle into her arm. Just then she had an idea.

"Yeah could you do me a favor?" She asked. "What?" "Can you loosen these straps a little? They're too tight and I can't breathe. Please?" She said, giving him puppy eyes. He smiled and loosened the straps, and she jumped out of bed before he could actually stick the needle in her arm. "Hey! Get back here!" Raditz yelled. "No way! Ya'll need help! Mental help!" Becky said, running out of the room. She wasn't going to make the same mistake again. As she ran, she saw her other brother, Goku, looking for her.

"Becky? Is that you?" He asked, surprised to see her out of bed. "Yes, now help me! I know for a fact that you're not affected by whatever spell was put on everyone, so we need to make them snap out of it!" Goku nodded and helped her into a wheelchair, because she was still dizzy from the drug. "By the way, how are you not affected by whatever it is that made our family go crazy?" Becky added.

"Well I was at first, but then something made me come to my senses, and since then I've been pretending to be along with their crazy schemes," Goku explained, looking serious. "Listen, we need to get you somewhere safe. How it's not affecting my son or Vegeta's is beyond me. And I'm surprised it's not gotten to you yet, whatever infection there is out there," he added. "What do you mean? I thought that light had something to do with it?" "The light is part of it, yes. But, there's more to it than that." Goku looked out the window for a moment, but then turned back towards Becky.

"Come on, let's go to the basement, that's where I have Goten and Trunks and everyone else who isn't infected. Something tells me that something serious is about to go down, and it's going to drag us with it, whatever it is," he said, pushing the button on the elevator for the basement. Once they'd reached the basement, Becky saw the same girl as before, but she still wasn't awake. She must have been terribly sick to remain unconscious all this time. "Hey I know that girl, she was the one I saw in the room I was in," Becky said. "Yeah, that's Cynder, Black's little sister or daughter or something like that," Goku said, walking over to the bed she was in and checking her vitals, and then suddenly she awoke, gripping his wrist. "Who are you?" She asked.
