"But I'm not sure how the—" I interrupt him.

"You know what, breakfast sounds great." I just walk past them and out the door, I didn't feel like changing. Stepping out of the room I looked a little shocked at the huge home I was in. "Holy shit."

"What?" Slender questioned. I look at him.

"How do you live here?! I'm not questioning your lifestyle, I just want to know how you don't get lost, because I already feel like I'm stuck in a corn-maze." I look around. He somewhat chuckled.

"You get used to it." He started walking downstairs, probably to assist me which I was appreciative for, while the other three just teleported. When we reached the bottom there were a lot of people. Some anxiety started to kick in, but I was also in a bad mood so it wasn't that affective.

"Whose victim is that?" One with a cut mouth asked.

"Whose the wannabe Joker?" I ask, knowing if I'm a jerk, I'll either be accepted faster or get into a fight. Either option I was down for.

"I like her." Wannabe Joker said.

"She's a guest here, whether she stays or not hasn't been decided." I hope he meant that in a guest way.

"(Y/n) you can sit over here with me and Sally!" Splendor called, I took up his offer and went over, recognizing Sally as the girl who visits me.

"So these are your people, huh Sal?" I ask, taking a couple glances around.

"Yup!" She said with a big smile on her face.

"Which one's your dad?" I ask, she points to Slender. I look between the two of them then shrug.

"Alrighty then." I say.

"Do you have a problem with that?" Slender asked, a dark aura surrounding him. I shake my head no.

"I don't have a problem, it's actually pretty admirable." I comment, thanking him for giving me food. He seemed a bit surprised, but ignored it and finished making everyone else's food.

I ate the food and talked with Sally.

"Well you weren't lying when you said he was a good cook." I compliment, continuing to eat.

"Daddy's the best at everything!" She exclaimed happily.

"I wouldn't say that, but sure." I heard somewhat of a scoff, but I really didn't mean it in a rude way.

After breakfast, Splendor hung out with me while I was with Dr. Smiley, getting my injuries checked. I secretly used some healing magic and it made me really tired.

We went to join the guys to watch a movie and talk while everyone else was elsewhere. I sat between Offender and Splendor, even though they warned me not to sit next to Offender.

At some point the conversation died down and we just watched the movie, I fell asleep.

Offenderman's Perspective

I was a little surprised when I felt a sudden small weight on my shoulder. Looking over, I see she had fallen asleep on me. I smirk and look over to my brothers.

"She chose me~ you guys can go~." I hum, Splendor made a pouty face.

"That's not how that works, Offender." Splendor complained, Trender and Slender agreed.

"Besides, she just has some magic fatigue. I'm surprised she didn't just fall asleep in the middle of our conversation." Trender commented, looking at the girl.

"Don't you think she's a bit strange?" Splendor said out of nowhere.

"Not really, why?" Trender replied.

"Do you not notice the way she acts?"

"You mean the bitchy attitude?" I ask him, referring to her sarcasm from earlier.

"No, I mean how she's so closed off and not very self assured, yet sometimes she tries to sound so condescending and confident. It's strange. It doesn't feel like it's her." He explained his thought process.

"I guess, but that could just be from the abuse she's been through. I didn't realize how much it affected her. It seemed she was more comfortable with the younger than the older. But children are easier to talk to." Trender said.

"I see your point, she does seem to be very calm with Sally and seem to communicate better with her." Slender mentioned, rubbing his temple to help him think.

"Well from her experiences with men, maybe another woman would be appropriate." I add, since usually kids can't handle all this stuff.

"Not really, she was hesitant to even tell that friend of hers." Trender dismisses my idea. I nuzzle her neck and hum at her warmth.

"What are you doing?" Slender quickly noticed.

"Relaxing, I'm not doing anything. Even though this conversation is boring, I think it's important to understand her." I pulled her onto my lap so it was easier to rest my head on her shoulder.

"Well you're not allowed to do anything to her, got it?" Slender practically stared daggers at me.

"I got it, I got it, whatever." I huff, I really wasn't planning on doing anything. We all watched the girl for a bit, I was enjoying how well she fit in my arms. I felt her nuzzle back against me.

"Are you making her stay?" Splendid asked Slender. He shook his head in response.

"I'm not sure." He said, observing her.

"Maybe she should come to us." Trender said.

"And how would that work?" I ask, it was obvious she was pretty independent and such.

"Protection." He said, making us all pause. "She said she was having a problem with her abilities. That's not good when a being like Zalgo is after her. We'll be her allies."

"That's a good idea. That way we're not forcing anything in her!" Splendor commented. I just nodded and concealed myself in the warmth admitting from her soft skin.
