Chapter 11 ~ A Visit

(Y/n) (L/n)'s Perspective
~ ~
A whimper of pain escapes my lips as I slowly opened my eyes, black dots started to disappear and reveal my coffee table with some medicine and soup on it.
Sitting up, I felt a sharp pain in my head and a rumble from my stomach. I look toward the kitchen and there was Annette, walking over with a glass of water.
"I'd say good morning, but it really isn't... is it?" She asked sympathetically. I just grip my head and groan in response. "Didn't think so."
She kneeled beside the couch where I was now sitting up. She placed her chin on my thigh, rubbing my hand, holding it in hers. "You need to tell me what happened, (Y/n)..."
I just felt like breaking down right there, but I also need to explain everything carefully. She didn't know about a few things and she's going to ask questions. I just nod at her, awaiting another response, possibly a question.
"What happened the other day? You had totally disappeared for two days, that's not like you." She asked, her voice laced with complete worry. I could only smile weakly as my smile crumbled and I started crying. She responded by hugging me and rubbing my back, comforting me.
I could feel that motherly warmth erupting from her false flesh that made her look human. She's always going to be the mom friend, even though she can be the one who needs a mom friend. I kind of laugh in between tears, but it got chocked by a hiccup. She cupped my cheek and caresses the tears off my flushed cheeks.
"I know you've been hiding stuff from me for a while. I don't want to push you but you need to talk to me. I'll be patient for now, but (Y/n)... you're my closest friend. You know me better than anyone else and have always been there for me. So I need to be there for you." I just nod at her as I try to collect myself.
As much as I had a right to my privacy, she also deserved to know. We made a promise to each other when we were still at pure youth. First a promise of no ill will, second a promise of forever friendship. She planted a gentle kiss on my head as I nuzzled my face back into her chest.
"I know you learned about who the babies were really. As in, they were adult slenders." I blink confused.
"What babies?" Maybe she was talking about the days from a few days ago that are so blurry, I don't remember what happened.
"Hm. Someone must've erased your mind. Or your mind is saving it till you're ready to deal with it, knowing you can be fairly emotional..." she sighs and tilts my head up. "Just explain what's happened when you were gone."
I nod... and nod... and then I stop. Where do I start? Does she want background information— of course she does, she doesn't ever completely understand or know.
"Remember...." I gulp, "D-David?"
Annette froze, "why him (Y/n)?"
"I saw him the other day...." Annette watched me carefully as my eyes filled with more tears. "Something bad happened A-Anna....... a-and he was there."
"What happened?" Her voice was serious, I never called her Anna so she knew this was serious.
"I-I decided to give Jason a try.... he was never a good guy Anna." I sucked in a breath, "he drugged me and I woke up in different clothes and a bed that wasn't mine... they were all there Anna..... I managed to escape and some misfits like us helped me. I-I don't want to get into complete detail. B-but there is someone new after me... he wants me to be his wife."
Annette watched her distraught friend give a pathetic and sad, tired laugh.
"I-I'm tired of trying Anna...." Anna hated seeing her friend like this... she knew she shouldn't offer this idea.....
"Wanna get a drink?"
".....sure."
