So I'm officially fifteen chapters into my fifty chapter long book! I've had fun writing it but I think updates might slow down a bit as the inspiration is waning a bit. But I've got back into playing Modern Warfare 3, I plan for this story to stretch all the way into the very end of Modern Warfare 3.

This story is going to span over four books, it's a prequel to MW1, the second is set partly during MW1, the third during MW2 and the final fifth one in MW3. 

Just to explain something I wanted to say in this story my main focus is balancing having a plot driven story and a character driven story. I want to learn to get some practice with that balancing act.

I also want to keep this story as real as possible, whilst I've never been in the military I have been in the army cadets so I know some basics and jargon etc., so I don't aim to either glamorise or demonise-some of these stories are based off of my life, and while the action parts are what define this story as a war story I think it's the downtime that makes it human and compelling.

I hope I'm doing a good job writing this, like I say I'm having fun writing this but I am a bit burnt out. Relatively soon I'll introduce Price, so stay tuned for that.
