Most of these chapters are just trio sequences

Recap:
Thresh nods "Alright alright, well I know what school he goes to because of that insignia from the volleyball he had, and that school also run with dormitories and shared rooms.. So he's definitely there now."
"So then Firo's probably there"
"Let's hope she hasn't done anything yet."
Mason nods in agreement.
Thresh parks and we all quickly get out
"Alright- now we have to disarm a forcefield or something- right?" I look at the others
"Nope, though Firo made it easier." He points to the lock that was now on the ground, completly torched and melted into a pool of liquid metal. It was still hot so it hadn't been long since she had melted the lock. Thresh walks directly though the open and now lock-less gate. "These people hate all types of magic- including things like forcefields that could protect them."
"Oh.." I walk through the gate, following a quickly-advancing Mason.
"And locked doors are easy enough to get through." Kiki smiles
"Here's an idea-- instead of us breaking in and sneaking around until we find her-- how about we knock on the door and just ask for assistance like normal people." Thresh is nervous. "I feel like that would be a lot better."
"We could.. Only, the doors are electrified." Mason points to the main entrance once we get to it. Warnings displaying: "HIGH VOLTAGE" are everywhere
"What is this? A prison?" Alice blinks
"Well I guess that means she's not in there. There's no way in.. sooooo-"
"She's climbing through a window." Kiki giggles
"What?" Thresh looks up and I point to a high up window, where Firo is climbing inside the building through an open window
Alice face-palms. "She is really determined to get revenge on this guy..."
"To be honest I don't even want to stop her." Kiki says
"Yeah.. But we have to." I look at Kiki. "It's the right thing to do morally."
"Plus none of us want her to get expelled or witch-hunted. Even if it would be entirely her fault." Alice states
"Can we please go now?" Mason looks at us with a panicked expression
"Okay okay, let's go correct your girlfriend's stupidity."
Mason opens his mouth to say something, but that chapter was over
- - - - - - -
"Come on- we need to go." Mason offers a hand to the last three people left in the front lawn: Thresh, Alice, and me.
"I still don't see why we have to do this.. It's her mess to clean up, not ours." Alice rolls her eyes
"Will you just take his hand or put an hand on his forearm or something so we can teleport? Firo could get expelled for this!" I angrily whisper
"That's her problem too." Alice glares. "We shouldn't have to mop up her messes all the time- she starts the conflict in almost ever chapter!"
"She may be a bit aggressive but as the protagonists we have to deal with that." Thresh states as he puts a hand on Mason's shoulder. "And listen- I don't want to go in there either.. But if we don't get Firo out before she carries out her revenge plan, she'll definitely be suspended! The headmistress can't turn a blind eye to her arrest-record forever! Plus... If she does go through with it.. it could contribute to a lot more than just her educational status.." He is slightly panicking now. "So we really really need to get her before it's too late."
Alice is slightly confused. "What does that mea-"
I quickly grab her arm and Mason teleports us into the building with the others
"What took you so long?" Kiki laughs quietly
"Alice doesn't want to be here." I answer
"And I have a perfectly reasonable explanation for that." Alice states
"Can we please just focus on finding Firo?" Mason looks a bit annoyed at our lack of urgency
"And stop her from doing anything stupid?" Thresh adds with panic
"Pretty sure we're years too late." Alice snickers
Mason's eyebrow twitches. "And what is that supposed to mean?"
Alice raises an eyebrow. "If you haven't noticed- your girlfriend isn't at all intelligent. She's basically just a rock with communication skills." She laughs as Mason's eyebrow twitches again
"Final straw." Mason places a hand on Alice's shoulder and she disappears in a blue flash.
"Did you just..?" Lilly blinks. "Teleport her back outside..?"
"Yes." Mason nods, calm again. "She's really been getting on my nerves lately."
"She's not that bad." Kiki states. "I guess the only thing really off-putting about her would be all her negative comments about Firo-ooooooooooh now I understand why you'd be angry."
"Speaking of-- can we please go find her before she raises the loathing between humans and creatures by ten fold?!" Thresh panics further
"Alright, alright, let's go find her.." Lilly nods
"Quickly." Thresh states
"Well, Mason is already way ahead of us." I gesture back to Mason, who is already turning the corner to find the window Firo climbed through
"Let's follow then." Lilly turns and quickly walks down the hallway
Thresh nods and quickly follows her
Kiki happily follows them
And I act as the caboose, trailing behind the group
We approach Mason, who's standing by the open window that we saw Firo climb through.
The curtains on the window are swaying inwards because of the small breeze. There were a few burn marks on the floor, and about 5 on a closed door, like someone had opened the door and Firo had blasted fire at it multiple times. There were also burn marks down the hall, leading to a door that is wide open with the bottom-half door frame slightly burned
"Looks like she went chasing after someone.." Lilly states
"She probably found that guy from the beach.." I nod
"William Hanbridge." Thresh comments
"Wi-- who?" Kiki looks confused as we follow Mason to the open door
"William Hanbridge-- son of Earl Charles Hanbridge, the headmaster of this school."Thresh explains further
"The pompous jerk we wanted to play volleyball with?" I look back at Thresh.
The door leads to a long dark corridor
"Volleyball?" Lilly blinks
"You weren't there." Kiki explains
"Oh." Lilly blinks
Kiki nods
"And his father is equally pompous and even more spectrophobic-" He pauses in seeing Kiki's confusion. "--As in fearful of the supernatural, meaning us." He explains further.
"Oh." Kiki nods in understanding
The corridor leads to a rather large room with two sets of stairs leading down and a bridge of ground connecting them. The corridor led out to the middle of this land-bridge.
As we reach the end of the corridor, a tuft of red-orange hair is visible leaving the room through a hallway on the floor below.
"Firo! Wait!" Mason teleports to the bottom level and runs down the hall to catch up with her
"We better hurry." Lilly looks at me, then starts running down the stairs
"Firo! Please wait!" Mason's voice yells from the hallway ahead
I quickly follow her, Thresh behind me with Kiki sprinting past all of us as she laughs
Lilly makes a right turn ahead of us, into the hallway Mason went through
The "hallway" is short, dark, and, complelty empty except for tall glass containers displaying trophies and pictures. Most of the glass containers were broken, some of the pictures burned
"Where did they go...?" Kiki blinks in confusion.
"Maybe Mason teleported them out?" Lilly guesses
"He wouldn't leave us here." I point out
Thresh nods in agreement and pulls a small flashlight from his pocket, then starts searching around the hall
"Maybe he left with Firo and he's coming back..?" Lilly guesses again as she looks around. "There are zero doors here and I don't think Firo burned a hole through anything to escape based on what I see.."
"Hmmm... Yeah, I think that's what happened." I nod
"So we just have to wait a minute for him to get back so he can take us home too?" Thresh walks over
Me and Lilly nod in agreement.
We wait for two minutes. As I look around, I notice that there are also burn marks all over this hallway and blink in confusion. 'Why would Firo attack Mason..?' I open my mouth to make my thoughts words but Kiki speaks first
"Maybe they're hiding." Kiki pokes the large barren wall at the end of the short hallway
"Hiding?" I look over at her, confused
"Hiding." Kiki points to the wall
Thresh walks over and shines a light on the wall. It looks completely normal. Your typical grey brick wall, the same brick that covered the entire hall. However, there was something off abut it. It was the only wall without burn marks
"Kiki? Is the lack-of-sleep starting to get to you..? You're pointing at a brick wall and saying that Firo and Mason are hiding inside it." Thresh blinks
Kiki raises an eyebrow, then pushes the wall lightly. The entire wall swerves inward like a door
The "door" opens up to Mason punching the girl we had come here to find
The orange-haired girl falls over and collapses against the wall
"Mason! What are you doing?!" Lilly runs into the hallway and pushes Mason back
"You don't understand! That's isn-"
Thresh moves to check and make sure that Firo is okay, but after a moment he back away. "Who is that..?" He whispers
"I don't know." Mason steps forward again
I kneel down to look at the girl. She was wearing a uniform with the same insignia that was on the volleyball. Her hair was cut short and did look an awful lot like Firo's, just less extreme and a whole lot less messy and tangled
She was definitely human
"-well I saw her run into this hallway and she was taunting me!" I tune in on time to here the end of Mason's explanation. "She knows why we're here and kept saying things about Firo and laughing!"
"So you punched her?" Thresh blinks
"Yes."
Thresh blinks, then shrugs. "Fair enough."
"What?! No not fair enough! You punched someone!" Lilly looks at Mason
"She threw several punches at me before I fought back." Mason states.
"Still!! you can't just go around punching everyone you don't li--"
I interrupt. "Well, either way, what's done is done. And frankly I don't mind, one jab at the posey of that spoiled brat is perfect for me.. Besides, we shouldn't be fighting with eachother-- we should ask the human what she knows regarding Firo--" the human girl suddenly starts to sprint down the hidden corridor behind the bricked wall.
"Was that--?" Lilly questions as Mason runs after the girl.
"Yeah, I'm guessing it was." Thresh quickly follows them
"Let's hunt her down!!" Kiki laughs as she, Lilly, and I start to run as well. The large corridor went down at an angle, and seemed to go on forever
"Why do we always end up running so much when things like this happen?!" Thresh questions
"No idea-- but it does seem to be a reoccurring trend!" I nod
"Mason swiftly turns a corner and we continue to follow him down the new corridor, until he trips over something and falls over
The three of us quickly stop behind him and he pushes himself up. He groans and rubs his head.
The human girl sprints down the rest of the hallway and turns left. Her footsteps get quieter
"Quickly!! Someone run after her!" Mason yells frantically. "Wherever she's going, Firo is there! We have to follow her!!"
"Mason..?" The confused voice seems to come from the floor
Mason blinks and quickly looks from left to right. "Firo?" He waits for a few seconds
"What--? Why are you here?" Firo's voice sounds confused.
Mason and Thresh speak at the same time as Mason stands up
"To help you."
"To stop you."
"Kind of both." I shrug.
"It was a unanimous decision to go and find you but our purpose of finding you wasn't unanimous." Kiki laughs
"So why did you come here anyway..?" Mason pulls Firo to her feet.
"What?" Firo blinks in confusion
"Why did you come here?" Mason repeats his question
"Did you find the guy? The one from the beach?" Kiki asks
"The guy from the..? Wait.." A small amount of light is visible from the hallway in front of us, the same hallway that girl had ran through.
"Oh.. She's coming back." Thresh blinks
More light, then several voices that are far but still very audible from the volume of the angry individuals
"Aaaaaand time to run.." Firo grabs Mason's hand and starts sprinting back in the direction we came from
"Wait--! I don't get it! Why are we running?! Why are you here?" Mason doesn't move and Firo stops, repeatedly tugging on his arm in order to get him to move
The light from down the hallway suddenly increases as the group of human students holding the torches becomes visible. The amount of torches lights up the entire hallway. The ginger girl from earlier is with the group, and has a black eye. She's standing next to William Hanbridge himself, who looks angry.
"Oh-- hello!" Kiki waves to the group down the hallway
"There they are!" The human girl points to us
"Get them!" William yells
The large group quickly starts to sprint down the corridor
"Like I said-- running!" Firo pulls on Mason's arm again, and this time he complies and starts running, the rest of us quickly follow.
Mason looks confused. "Why are they chasing us?!"
"Because they're crazy!" Firo yells. "You know those violent anti-creature groups that Thresh is always talking about? Yeah- that's them."
"Then why did you come here?" Mason is confused as we turn the corner and start to run up the angled section of the secret hallways, back to the trophy room.
"I didn't. They just showed up!" Firo yells as we turn the corner and start to run up the angled section of the secret hallways, back to the trophy room.
"What--?! You mean.. You mean they kidnapped you?!"
"Basically! What? Did you think I was the one who came here?!"
"Well, yeah.." Thresh admits
"Why would I want to do that?" Firo looks back at us for a brief moment
"We assumed you wanted to get revenge on that guy from the beach." Kiki explains with a raised voice
"Plus- we saw you climbing in through a window- and you were alone!"
"Listen- I don't know what happened I left a store and was walking bak to the apartment, got ambushed in an alley way and woke up five hours later with people yelling at me to melt a lock and climb through an already broken window!" Firo yells
Mason suddenly stops running and Firo is forced to stop with him. The rest of us stop as quickly as possible and look back at Mason
"Mason?! What are you doing- we have to go!" Firo says urgently
Mason expression goes from confident to confused. "Why can't I--?"
Firo yanks on Mason's arm and gets him to start running again, the rest of us following the couple. The mob of angry students is now very close in proximity to us and we had lost our lead
"You can't use your powers because of the stone- it blocks any form of magic, enchantment, or supernatural!" Firo explains
"That explains why that section of the wall wasn't burned!" Thresh connects the dots
After a minute, we reach the top of the angled and turn left, running to the exit of the trophy room. The mob of humans behind us had ditched their torches as we reached the dimly lit trophy room
We quickly run to the large entrance doors, but before we can get to them, the once electrocuted doors open
"Alice?" Mason blinks
We stop infront of the door as a human man no older than forty steps into the academy
He looks at us.
"Charles Hanbridge.." Thresh whispers, extremely nervous
"What are you doing here...?" The headmaster glares furiously at us
William walks up beside us, a little timid. "Father, let me explain...."
The man turns his glare onto his son.
William takes a deep breath. And points to Firo. "She broke in here!"
"What?!" Firo shrieks
"As you probably saw, the lock on the front gates is melted! And one of the windows in the front of our esteemed academy is broken!"
"What?!" Firo shrieks again
"She burned the door to my room and broke in!! Then chased me down the hall while throwing fire at me!!" William yells
"What?!" Firo shrieks for a third time
"Then she chased me all around the school- and look what she did to all of our display cases!"
William points to the trophy room. Indeed, most of the glass cases were broken, and the pictures inside burned
"She even gave poor Annabelle a black eye!" William points to the ginger human girl from before, who was now sobbing as if she had been tortured
"I did not!" Firo yells
"Silence witch!" Charles yells at Firo
Firo glares silently
"I am glad you are unharmed, William." The headmaster nods to his son
He slowly turns to our group. "Now as for you....." He sharply glares
