I TOLD YOU IT WOULD BE REALLY LATE BUT STILL

Hello!!

so i drew a thingy of what this cafe kinda looks like

I drew it on MS paint with a mouse I know it's terrible its just for visual cause I did an awful job explaining how this place worked

the tiny guy in the shop is named Steve by the way

ALSO LAST NOTE HERE- I will minimize the amount of swear words I use in this chapter and the next few coming ones but I will still use them, so yea *awkward finger guns*

Recap:

Looking around, I notice that Kiki and Dogost seem to be playing Tic-tac-toe on a piece of paper, Thresh was watching them, Firo and Mason are chatting with each other, Skyler was calling someone, who, after a while of listening to her conversation for a bit, I noticed it was Scales and Ice, and Kanna and Alice were ordering something at the counter on the first floor

I look back around the level I'm on and notice that Nami was sitting in a chair, looking out of the huge window, a troubled look on her face.

"Hmm..." I walk up to her and sit down in a chair next to her. "Something wrong?"

"Well.. Did she kind of seem familiar to you?" She asks

"You mean the redhead? No, not at all." I look around the cafe again. "Did she seem familiar to you...?"

"Kind of.." Nami admits. She trails off for a minute, then shrugs. "Nevermind.. It's probably nothing..." She shakes it off.

"Okay.." I seem unsure, but still nod.

After a few minutes of dead silence, she suddenly claps her hands together. I jump, startled, then turn to look at her again. Once again drawing way to much attention to our table

"Nami? I ask, confused. "What is it?"

"I got it! I remember her now!" Nami says, standing up.

Before she can even speak, the entrance to the cafe slams open.

We all quickly turn our attention to that area.

"Hey!" One of the workers behind the counter on the first floor yells at them

"Sorry! I didn't mean to slam the door." Ice apologizes as he and Scales walk into the cafe through the open door.

(AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAA)

Though they're not audible, you can practically hear everyone's sighs of relief

The two of them, weirdly out of breath, walk up the stairs and to our table.

"What's up?" Kiki smiles, looking at them both after she draws an "X" in one of the squares of her and Dogost's tic-tac-toe game.

"And why are you out of breath?" Thresh asks, confused

"Also- where have you two been for the past two days? And why are you even here?" Mason asks, a bit confused aswell

"Well Skyler called us and said that we should meet with you guys- but didn't tell us where you were." Ice mumbles the last bit and Skyler rolls her eyes. "And regarding where we've been lately, we drove to a different city to get his stupid car fixed after what she did to it." He points to Firo, who grins proudly.

"I considered it an improvement!" Firo says, smiling wide

"You crashed my car!" Scales glares at her, angry

"You crashed his car?!" Mason looks at Firo, surprised

"On purpose!" Firo smiles

Mason sighs and smacks his forehead. "I should be surprised but I'm not.." He sighs

Firo grins happily.

"Anyways... Turns out the damage she did to it was WAY worse then what we had originally thought and we had to stay there for two days while they fixed it." Ice states. "And we're out of breath cause we ran here."

"You ran here? Why? What happened to Scales car?" I ask him, not looking at him but rather behind him where Mason was holding a furious Scales back, Scales looking like he wanted to strangle Firo to death, and instead of apologizing, Firo was just insulting and taunting him further.

"His cars fine. But since Skyler didn't tell us where you were, we drove to Firo's apartment assuming you'd be there.. But instead we found this crazy chick wearing a motorcycle helmet asking everyone in the nearby area where you guys were.. But no one knew."

"Did she question you?" Kiki asks as Thresh walks over and tries to break up the fight between Firo and Scales

"Yeah...? We said that we didn't know where you were either but that we were looking for you." Ice states. "Why do you actually know that person?"

"Yeah.. She attacked us.. But we're not really sure why.." Kiki says.

I shrug "She was there and was trying to hunt Dogost down so maybe thats why..?"

"What so she's after Dogost? Why?" Nami panics slightly, looking at me

"I heard her talking on the phone before Mason teleported us here.. Apparently her names Evi and she's obviously working for someone based off of that phone call..." I explain

"Weird... Did she follow you?" Skyler asks, looking at Ice.

"Nope.. After we talked to her she just kinda stood there for a while and it felt like she was glaring at us.. So me and Scales quickly said our goodbyes and ran.. After that we heard someone drive off and looked back and she was on her motercycle driving the opposite way.." He shrugs

"Good." Skyler sighs in relief

By now the fight between Firo and Scales had broken up, Dogost had one the tic-tac-toe game and was celebrating while Kiki was preparing for a rematch, and Kanna and Alice had returned from the counter but didn't have anything in their hands.

"Weren't you getting something?" I ask, puzzled, looking over at them

"They're gonna bring it up here." Alice nods and sits down.

"Umm.. Who're they...?" Ice looks confused, pointing at the two of them

I look back at Nami as Lilly explains the events of the past two days from our perspective. "Hey so you said you figured out where you know that women from, right?" I ask

"Oh, right.. Well I don't actually know her, I just used to see her around my old school a lot.." Nami states

"You mean back when you went to that demon academy?" I ask, and she nods

"So she's a demon too?" Skyler looks annoyed

"Apparently.. And would you please get over it already?! Not all demons are like that." Lilly smacks the back of Skyler's head.

"She's not a fire demon like me though.. She's a mind demon if I remember correctly.. Though I didn't see her much since she's a different type of demon.." Nami explains

"You mean in a school separated from all other monster types the demons inside are still divided? Geez..." I sigh and look out the window

"Yeah.." Nami sighs, then turns her attention to the stairs.

I follow her gaze and watch as a women with incredibly long snow white hair and glowing silver eyes walks up to our table and gives Kanna and Alice two cups, then turns and walks down the staircase again. All the while Scales looks slightly nervous and scared

"You okay..?" Nami looks at him, confused

"Clawseer." Ice yawns instead of giving an explanation

(OC references until I diiiiieeee!!!)

"What is he afraid of them or something?" I ask, just as confused as Nami

"He has a good reason to be." Ice shrugs. "If one of those things can get into your mind you could be dead within minutes." I look down at the women again, who's giving food out to another table, smiling, and then back at Ice, confused.

"They don't look like that usually, only about ten percent of clawseers are like that, but in order to be like that as a clawseer you'd have to be around something very positive and happy all the time... But Scales has seen a corrupted one, and he's been traumatized ever since." Ice explains further

"Can you blame me?!" Scales says, finally calmed down.

"For being scared of a lady serving coffee, yes." Skyler snickers

"You have your little phobia of demons so don't go judging me." Scales looks annoyed

Skyler looks slightly angry and opens her mouth to reply but the door suddenly slams open again, this time the sound of glass shattering is heard along with it.

"Please don't tell me it's..." I look at the door, and a woman wearing a motercycle helmet was standing there, the glass next to the slammed open door was shattered and on the floor. "Not this again!" I stand up, watching as a few of the workers of the cafe walk over to Evi and start talking to her, most of them panicked

Mason and Firo look at eachother.

"Bad idea to do the same trick a second time she'll definitely be expecting it!" Nami says, nervous as Evi tears off the motercycle helmet blocking her face from view and glares furiously at us as everyone in the cafe panics at her sudden arrival.

"We should go.. Quickly." I look over at Mason. "I can't teleport us all at once." He panics.

I quickly look around and spot the staircase to the third floor. "No where to go but up I guess." I quickly stand up and run towards the staircase

"This is a bad idea!" Thresh says, but I can hear them all following behind me anyways.

Once I get to the third floor, I look around for any sort of exit and see a door across the way labeled with a red "EXIT" sign

I quickly run towards it, opening the door and smiling. A metal staircase leading out of the cafe and down into the alley way next to it. "I found a way out!" I call the others over and we all run down the metal stairs and reach the alley way. Luckily, it seemed like the cafe staff had managed to keep Evi on the lower level and prevented her from coming after us or any of the other customers inside.

Nami sighs in relief, carrying a panicked Dogost who had morphed back into his ghost dog form somewhere in the panic. The alley way we ended up in was a dead end, and we could still hear everyone inside the diner panicking.

"We should go." Mason says, looking at the exit to the alley way

Everyone quickly nods in agreement, walking towards the exit

"Hey!" An angry voice above us yells. 'Oh geez...' I look back to the exit of the cafe on the third floor. But no ones there.

"Fix it." An angry voice says from my right. I turn and see the red-headed woman, angry and standing infront of Firo, looking down on her, holding up a strange looking machine in front of her face. The machine was about the size of a soccer ball, wires and the cables that were coming out of it were ripped and completely disconnected from wherever they were once connected to, the circular glass part of the machine was shattered, exposing the wires beneath and a purple crystal inside. "I know you broke it.. It belongs to a friend of mine and she'll be pissed if I return it broken"

Firo blinks in confusion and looks at Evi. "You're not going to kill us...?"

"Or try to take Dogost?" Nami looks confused, Dogost just as confused in her arms

Evi pauses for a few seconds, before bursting out laughing.

All of our faces must look confused because she continues to laugh. "You thought I wanted to kill you or your dog?!"

"He's not my dog." Nami states, glaring at her slightly

"Yeah yeah whatever." Evi dismisses. "Either way- I'm not gonna kill you, I just don't wanna have t'pay her for breaking this thing when it was your fault, plus you also threw me out of a window, so I think ya' owe me on this one." She dangles the machine in front of Firo's face, but she doesn't take it. "Or if you don't feel like fixing it I can kill you all here and now." She grins

Firo sighs and takes the strange machine from her. "Fine.."

Evi grins "Great! I don't wanna have to kill a bunch a' kids if I don't have to." She snickers and turns around, walking away. "I know where ya' live so I'd suggest ya' fix that thing fast."

She disappears into the massive crowd walking through the street outside the cafe

"That was very... Anticlimactic.." Mason states, looking at the machine

"Very..." Thresh states

"What even is that thing..?" Kanna asks

"The machine that created the barrier that trapped Dogost inside the school... I destroyed it back then, even though I didn't know what it was at that time.." Firo states..

"So we're supposed to fix it...?" Dogost whimpers slightly

"I'm not sure.." Firo shrugs, looking down at the machine. "But either way we have to decide what to do."

non-suspenseful and not-cliffhanger endings don't feel right to me anymore what even why am I so used to cruel cliffhangers

ALSO ITS LIKE TWO IN THE MORNING WHERE I AM SO THIS CHAPTER IS NOW LATE AND MAYBE SOMETHING IN IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE CAUSE AT THE MOMENT IM SLEEP DEPRIVED AND TIRED

BUT HEY IF SOMETHINGS WEIRD TELL ME SO I CAN FIX IT

ALSO IM GOING TO RE-WRITE A FEW CHAPTERS OF THIS STORY CAUSE I RE-READ TH FIRST CHAPTER OF THIS STORY AND I CRINGED SO MUCH AAAHHHHHHHHHHH

SO IM GONNA SLEEP BEFORE I PASS OUT AND I MIGHT EDIT THIS CHAPTER IN THE MORNING TO MAKE SURE IT MAKES SENSE
