Hi!!

Sorry about the late update, the last week has been way more busy then I thought it would be.

Anyway I'm in a car going home and I'm gonna be in this car for 2 and a half hours so I figured, why not write?

Oh yeah- by the way I plan on updating this book a lot more frequently in the future.

Recap:

We both climb the latter and end up in a room, and like Alice said before, there was a portal in the center of the room.

"Alright! Let's go!" I run back through the portal.

The portal opens up to a big room, lit with candles, two staircases on either side of the room, and a long corridor leading out of the room.

I look behind us and there's the entrance to the school. "Nice." I grin. "I'm glad that worked." I look back at Alice.

"Let's go." She says. I nod in agreement and we both start making our way up one of the stair cases.

"Alright so how do we get to the dorms?" I ask, looking back at Alice.

"Oh that's simple, we just have t-" she checks the bag she's carrying. "Huh... That's weird.. Hey Firo, have you seen my book anywhere?"

"What?" I ask, glancing at her.

"My book about this school.. It's gone.. Have you seen it.?" She asks.

"No, I haven't."

"Aww man... I must've dropped it somewhere..." She sighs.

"You dropped it?!"

"Relax we can still get to the dorms without it." Alice says as we reach the top of the left staircase. "We just keep going forward from here and it's to the left." She states. "It's really easy to remember.

I nod. "Then let's go!" We start to turn left when I notice the sign. I grab the back of Alice's shirt. "Sure you didn't mean the left one?"

She looks at the sign, then at me, laughing. "Yeah whoops." She says. "That is what I meant.."

"Whatever come on." I pull her to the left. Once we get into that hallway, there is another hallway that branches off to the right side, doors lining the hallway, each one having a name written on the door.

"They're alphabetical I assume." I whisper to Alice, and she nods.

I nod in understanding and quickly dash down the hallway, trying not to make a lot of noise.

I continue running, glancing from side to side as I run, reading the doors.
Amanda, blah, blah, blah, Clariese, Donna, blah, boring, blah, Evelyn, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

As soon as I see Nami's name I stop running and walk up to her door, placing a hand on the handle and turning it, pushing the door open.

The other recap cause I'm switching POVs because I'm evil:

"We need to go." Ice states.

"Why do we need to go there?" Thresh asks, looking back at the rest of us.

"Firo stole my car." Scales answers.

"Who?" Thresh asks, confused.

"No one important- and Scales, that's not the reason we're going!" Lilly says.

"Yes it is." Scales says, looking back at her.

"No it's not!" Kiki argues.

The two of them continue to argue but I block out the conversation.

"We're already in the car so you might as well start driving." Ice yells over the argument.

"And if you start driving, they'll eventually shut up." Mason adds.

Thresh sighs, "I can't believe I'm actually agreeing to this." He says, then turns the key in the ignition, starting to drive.

--Kat's POV--

"This place sure has tight security for a school.." Mason mumbles, looking at the school.

"Agreed." Ice nods.

We had arrived at the front of the school, but hadn't found a way to get inside yet. The school was completely surrounded by some kind of electric-wall that electrocuted anyone who got too close, and then beyond that there was a force field. So even if you found a way to get over the wall, you couldn't get past the force field.

And on a side note- Firo isn't exactly the best driver. Once we got there we found Scales' car. Yeah... She crashed it into a tree... The damage wasn't that bad, but Scales was still furious about it.

So instead of coming here to find Firo, he's here to tear her head off.

"Anything?" I ask, looking at Lilly, who was currently flipping through some random book that we had found near the wall. According to the name written in the front, it belonged to someone named Alice.

"Nothing." Lilly shrugs. "It says something about a security tower and it has a map of where the dorms are inside the school, and something else abou-"

"A tower huh? Can I see that for a minute?" Thresh says.

Lilly shrugs and gives him the book. "Go ahead."

"Hmm.. It says there's an entrance in the tower.. But how could you get into there with the force field...?"

"Portal?" Kiki guesses.

"Maybe, but even if there is a portal, we don't need it." Mason states.

"What? Why?" Lilly asks.

"He can just teleport us there." Ice says.

"Will that work?" I ask.

"It's worth a try." Thresh nods.

Mason nods in agreement, and disappears in a flash of blue, reappearing only a second later. " can't get through." He says.

"Wow these people thought of everything." Scales mumbles.

"Come on- that tower is our best bet." I state, I then look over at Mason. "Can you get us there?"

He looks at the tower, then back at me and nods. "I'll have to take two trips but I can get us to the tower."

Mason takes the first group of people. The first four people to go were Dogost, Lilly, Ice and me.

We all waited at the base of the tower for a few minutes, looking at the door, which was already open surprisingly.

After a few minutes, Mason came back with the others.

"The doors already open." Lilly explains, pushing the door open further.

"Then lets go! As soon as we find that stupid dragon I'm gonna kill her!" Scales yells, sprinting up the spiral staircase that led up the tower. We all follow him.

As we run, I turn to look at Ice, who was running behind me. "Wait a second.. Firo's a dragon?" I ask, confused.

"Yeah, she is." He shrugs. After noticing my confusion he blinks. "What?"

"If she's a dragon.. then why does she look human?" I ask.

"Human form." He explains.

'Does that mean that when we find her I can ask her to turn into a dragon and she will?" I ask, excited.

"Maybe." He answers.

"Do you think she'll let me ride her?" I ask, even more excited.

"I wanna ride a dragon too!" Dogost cheers, flying up the stairs next to me, now in his ghost- dog form.

"Probably not." Lilly speaks up. I look at Lilly, who's running behind Ice.

"Why not?" I ask.

"Yeah why not?" Dogost repeats, pouting.

Lilly shrugs. "Firo usually doesn't even like turning into a dragon so I doubt she'd even do that." She explains.

"What if we somehow got her to turn into a dragon?" Kiki asks, smiling, looking back at us as she runs.

"Then I guess it's possible she might let you ride her, but I doubt it." Lilly says as we reach the top of the stairs, where there is a ladder leading to the top of the tower. 

We all climb the ladder to find that Scales, Thresh, and Mason were gone, and I guessed that they had already gone through the portal sitting in the center of the room. "Let's go."

I walk through the portal, Dogost, Lilly, Kiki, and Ice following behind me. Once we step out of the portal, Dogost turns back into his human form. I look around the large room that the portal led out to. The room was lit with candles and looked way to fancy to be the entryway of a school, two staircases on either side of the room, but no Firo. I look back at the portal that brought us here, and as I look it fades out of existence.

"Hmmm, there's two staircases.. Which one should we take?" Thresh asks, looking back at the rest of the group.

"Hey Lilly, you still have that book?" Mason asks after a few seconds.

"Yeah I do, why?" Lilly answers

"Didn't you say there was a map showing where the dorms are?" He asks again.

Lilly nods. "Yeah there is."

"SWEET! We can use that to get there!" Kiki smiles.

Lilly happily nods and tosses Kiki the book. "Catch."

Kiki almost catches the book, stumbling and regaining her balance. Standing straight again, she flips open the book, looking thorough it. "Here it is!" She smiles.

I look over her shoulder and look at the map. "Okay! We have to head up the left staircase and continue forward until we reach a right turn, which should be the girls dormitories." I nod.

"Then lets go!" Scales says, completely out of patience.

I roll my eyes a little, "Alright alright, stop being so pushy."

But he's already running up the the left staircase. We all quickly follow him up the stairs and into a long dimly lit hallway. And like the book said, the hallway split into two directions, the left hall being labeled "Boys Dormitories" and the left side being labeled "Girls Dormitories"

We were still far away but I could clearly see two figures walking out of the girls dormitories. 
As we got closer I could identify one of the people as Firo, but the other one I wasn't sure about.

We all run up to them and from up close I can see that it's Firo, Nami, and some other girl. But Nami is asleep, Firo carrying her.

"Did you kidnap her?" I ask, looking at Firo.

"No I didn't she's just hard to wake up without a bucket of water around." Firo states.

"That's definitely not a good idea." Ice blinks.

"It was a joke." Firo glares at Ice.

"Well, either way you found Nami and we found you!" Lilly smiles.

"You found me..?" Firo asks, confused. "You mean you were looking for me..? Why..?"

"You crashed my car." Scales says, standing in front of Firo, glaring down at her.

"You know about that?" She asks.

"Yes." Scales glares at her.

"Whoops I was gonna tell you later....." Firo shrugs. "yeah I crashed it." She says.

Scales looks furious and tries to punch Firo in the face but she dodges it, grinning. "Come on we don't have time for this. Security motions trough these hallways every once and a while." She says.

Nami yawns.

"And how exactly do you suggest we get out?" Ice asks.

"Yeah, we can't go back the way we came, the portal closed when we went through it." Mason adds.

"The forcefield lowers in 10 minutes." Firo states.

I look at the clock. It was currently 11:50pm.

"Midnight..? But why..?" Thresh asks

"Why not?" Kiki grins happily.

"In 10 minutes the headmaster of this place is going to leave the school grounds, that's why the forcefield gets lowered." Firo explains. "He always leaves at the same time every night, so that should be the time we decide to move."

"Well then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Lilly says.

"Wait a second-" Scales tries to punch Firo again but she dodges, grinning.

"Too slow!" She says, dashing down the hallway and then down the stairs.

Scales growls and chases after her.

We all quickly follow them, moving back toward the stairs, down the stairs and back to the front entrance.

Firo had already opened the front door and started to walk (well actually Scales and Firo are running) back to the wall.

Once we get back to the edge of the forcefield, we simply wait until the forcefield comes down at midnight, like Firo said it would, a black limo leaving the school and exiting through the gate.

Once we got to the "electric wall" there were two ways to get over, either Mason teleported you over or Firo flew you over, not as a dragon sadly.

"Come on!" Firo says. She runs towards Scales car and gets in the drivers seat.
"No way you're driving again give me those." Scales yanks the keys to his car out of her hands and she sighs in annoyance, sitting in the middle row of seats while Nami lays I'm the very back row of three seats.

We take the same arrangement in Thresh's car as when we had on the way there.

And a minute later we were gone, driving again.

I have wanted to write this chapter for so long and I finally got to!

It's 4 in the morning and I'm really tired so I'm just gonna end it there
I apologize for any grammar/spelling errors because (like I said) it's 4 in the morning and I'm reeeeeaaally tired
