Strolling through the empty hallways to get to our dorms, I trailed behind the Ace and Deuce while Grim was resting on my shoulders. As the stars twinkled in the night sky above the school. I find them really pretty.

'Must be very late if the sky is still dark...'

"Haaaah...Expulsion rescinded... I'm beat." Deuce said after he yawned. "Oh my, oh my..." Ace tiredly rubs his head as the two dragged their feet.

"La lala~" Grim sang happily, close to my ear. "I start as a student of Night Raven College tomorrow! I'm gonna leave you all in the dust and take the top spot!" He declared.

"Hey, Grim buddy. I'm proud of you and all but, will you please don't shout close to my ears..." I said, placing him in my arms.

"You talk big for someone who is only half a student... Anyway, it's fine." Ace said and gave us a smile, and Deuce did too.

"We're gonna be classmates tomorrow, Supervisor, Grim."

"Supervisor? Please, just call me by my name. Calling Supervisor sounds a little too weird, okay? Oh! Once again, nice to meet you." I held my hand out for Deuce to shake.

"Saying that again is really embarrassing, will you stop?" Ace said to me, slightly annoyed. I frowned him. "How about I throw my shoe at your fathead?"

"Pff, that's true. Even if we don't, we're going to see each other everyday. I'm even in Heartslabyul with this jerk." Deuce said.

"Thinking about seeing your serious mug everyday, no thanks."

"That's my line, truant Ace." Deuce shot back.

"Sure, sure. Almost-expelled-crybaby Deuce. Alright, see you tomorrow, Supervisor ~" Ace said, giving me a flirtatious smile. I stuck my tongue out at him and watched the two walk back to their dorm.

"You know what, they might actually make a good combo. A juicy combo." I added.

"Huh? Really. Well, they're the "fight because they're so close" type. We better get back to the dorm too! Tomorrow we aren't the handyman!"

"Yeah." I smiled, but I stopped when I heard Grim sniffle. "Hey, are you okay?"

Suddenly he drew his paw up and almost made me stumble back on my footing with him in my arms. "Finally...Finally! Our bright and shiny academy life at Night Raven College begins!" He said excitedly, I rolled my eyes at him, knowing this furball was okay.

"Well, let's get going." We hurried our way back to our dorm.

The moon was still set in the sky, it was bright and there's no trouble getting back to our dorm since we could see our path and the dormitory wasn't far.

Grim sat comfortably in my arms and looked up at me with wonder in his eyes. "You didn't know?"

"Hm? Know what?"

"You having magic dummy! What kind a human doesn't know!" Grim shouted.

"Honestly Grim, I don't really know. It just happened, like my body knew it was in danger and boom, it happened." I said, as we made it to our dorm and entered inside. Closing the door behind us before heading upstairs to our room to sleep.

"Meh....well, let's get some sleep, we're students tomorrow!" Grim jumps out of my arms and lands on the end of the bed. I lifted the blankets and crawled into bed feeling really drained from today's crazy mission and all that shit.

"Nighty night Grim." I rolled to my side facing the mirror, and covered my ears before dozing to sleep. Not wanting to hear those voices again.

Everything that happened at the Dwarf's Mine, I couldn't take my mind off it. It's strange, I wanted to forget but my mind wouldn't let go. It's like something or someone doesn't want me to.

Like my hand glowing in which I have no clue how I did it. I'm just confused as fuck right now, and the shit I used to see and hear as a kid. It's happening again and that's the thing, I'm afraid it'll get worse if I stay in this world too long.
