Friday, January 17th, The Year 2220

Max's POV

We approached one of the most beautiful planets I have ever seen.

"Is that, uh uh?"

"That is your home planet - Paerus," our fake mom says.

The air was crystal clear. The landscaping, from what I could see, was amazing.

The ship approached the landing bay of a huge mansion!

"We, we live here?!" I asked as we stepped off the spaceship and into a space limo. The limo then entered a long tunnel.

"Max man, I still can't believe we are a part of a royal family," Drake says as we are still riding in the limo.

The limo came to a stop in front of a pair of double doors. As we stepped out the limo, two guys who appeared to be armed guards were waiting for us.

"Please, follow us this way," one of the guards says. So, that is what we did. We walked up a fairly, long staircase. Good thing we work out. We then walked down a long hallway. Servants we walked by bowed down to us. Once we made it to the center of the hallway, a pair of double doors were opened.

Sitting on a pair of throne chairs were, I'm guessing, our parents. The armed guards walked us over to the thrones, bowed, then left the room.

We began to bow but was stopped.

"That's not necessary, my son. You both are safe now. Your father and I both understand you have a lot of questions to ask. So, to answer your first question, we are your real parents. I am your mother, and my name is Koko Varina."

"I am your father. My name is Florian Shar."

"Uh, yeah that was one of them. Um, what are our real names?" Drake asked.

"We understand your Cebromian names were Maxwell and Drake. Drake, your birth name is Kairius Mako. Max, your real name is Tamesis Cari. On Paerus, every citizen has a first and middle name. No one has a last name. Chanelle is Merissa Dionne. Simone is Nami Darya. And, lastly, Brooke is Talise Jaleh," my mother says.

"As Deabora stated, you and your siblings were sent to Cebromia for your safety. A dangerous alien attempted to kidnap Talise Jaleh for his bride, and she was only a child. He did just about anything on that trip to Thanreron to kidnap her. We left the trip early to come home. Shortly after, we searched Cebromia for a couple to pretend to be your parents. We chose Deabora and her husband. We always sent them what they needed to take care of you."

"Deabora said Drake and I were just babies when we came to them. Do Brooke, Chanelle, and Simone know of you?"

"Believe me, it was a difficult decision, but it had to be done for your safety. The girls were given a serum that took away some of their memory of us. Then, you can say they were programmed that Deabora and her husband were their parents. And, before you ask, the girls are not robots."

"Can I have something to drink before this conversation goes further?"

"Very well." All it took was a nod from my mother for a servant to bring a tray of something.

"It's the best and safest water in the Galaxy." The servant handed me a glass and I drank it in one shot.

"Tell me, when was the last time you saw your sisters? The fear is that Brooke's disappearance is because of Krohals. That is the name of the kidnapper," my father asked.

"Brook, Chanelle, and Simone planned a cruise to Ralmainia with their friends. That was April of last year. We saw them a few days before they left. While on the cruise, Brooke ran into her ex - Asher. She also said she met some dude named Jason."

"You both might want to sit down. The one you call Asher is also from Paerus. He is the country's future king, meaning he is the son of the king and queen. His real name is Tristian Rimulus. It is imperative that we find all of them. Do you know what planets they were visiting on their way to Ralmainia?"

I feel like a migraine is about to happen with this info and the different names. It is going to take me a loooong time to remember it. "They made a stop on Gutania and Pondryia before cruising to Ralmainia."

My father now waved one of the servants over. He told them to have those planets searched, as well as the planets in between them. Another servant came over.

"Please show my sons to their rooms. We can talk more at dinner time. I'm sure you both need to rest. And, I will have two of the servants give you a tour of the mansion. The king and queen will be joining us for dinner. Oh, and dinner is at 7:00 pm."

Oh boy. We followed the servants to our rooms. My mother was right, I need to lay down to comprehend what is happening.

Brooke's POV

I know it's only been a day, but Dalis is a good baby. Asher stayed in the room with me. The only times he got up was to feed Dalis. She let both of us get some rest.

We both are still in awe at this beautiful creation from both of us. I kissed her little cheeks.

"My first baby is with you, Asher. I still can't believe it. All it took was a weird cruise to get us back together. Then, boom, we are parents."

"Weird cruise is right. Full of death, and now we are stranded. As long as we are together, I promise to take care of both of you."

"Dalis, baby girl, mommy can't wait until you take your first steps, learn how to talk, and so much more. I hope we get off this planet so you can go to school, find a boy who likes you, get married, and make mommy and daddy grandparents."

"The boy will have to go through me first."

"Asher, stop it."

"I had to go through your father when we first started dating. Brooklyn, every male has to go through that when dating. Every father wants their daughter to have the best. I really had to assure your father because of our age difference."

I popped Asher's arm. "Stop it with that Brooklyn stuff. There is only a nine-year difference between us. I was always attracted to older men - well within the range that I wanted. You fit what I wanted. Now, if it were a 20-year difference, we wouldn't be dating at all. I already have a father."

"Thank goodness that I did. Otherwise, this little one would not be here today."

"Asher, I think it's feeding time. Dalis is getting fussy and wiggling in my arms."

"WAAAHHH!!!"

"I'll be right back." Asher sat up on the bed, then hopped off and went to the kitchen.

I started rocking Dalis, reassuring her everything is going to be okay. "Daddy will be right back, princess."

"WAAAHHH!!!"

The crying slowly started going away as I rocked her. About 10 minutes later, Asher came back. "See princess, your daddy came back with something for you." Asher put a blanket over his shoulder to prepare himself for when Dalis belches. As soon as he put the bottle to her mouth, she sucked away.

"Asher, I'm going back to sleep."

"Go ahead. I'll take care of Dalis." After Asher said that, Chanelle knocked on the door.

"Hey, Brooke, I'll come back later to give you and Dalis a checkup. If everything is ok, Asher can take both you and Dalis to your room."

"Okay. Thanks, Chanelle." I sure did close my eyes.

Drake's POV

My room is the size of a 2 bedroom apartment! It's massive. It has a closet, a huge bathroom, and a room that is like an office. While exploring, I found a hidden walkway. Where it goes, I sure don't know. I'll explore it later.

I heard a knock on my door, so I went to open it.

"Master Kairius, I am your personal servant, Dylon Shar. Are you ready to be escorted to the dining room? The king and queen of Paerus have arrived. Also, madame Koko says you and Master Tamesis will be fitted tomorrow for a new wardrobe."

"You mean, we won't be able to leave the house?"

"Absolutely not. Until your sisters are home safe, you are forbidden to leave the grounds. That's what your personal drivers and bodyguards are for. You'll meet them tomorrow."

Just great. That totally sucks. "I'm ready to go now."

I shut my room door and followed Dylon. My nervousness just kicked in - meeting the King and Queen of a country?! This time we took an elevator downstairs. Our rooms are on the second floor of the mansion. This place is massive. It's so big that we had to break up our tour in two trips. Max and I will definitely get a workout living here.

Dylon Shar opened a pair of double doors to a, not surprising, large dining room.

"Master Kairius has arrived," Dylon says as he bows. I was about to bow but was stopped.

"Kairius, son you don't have to bow. Come join us."

I took my seat next to Max.

"Tamesis and Kairius, I want to introduce you to Tristian's family - King Lachlan Keel and Queen Nerina Eldoris."

"Um, should we bow?"

"No, son. You boys have grown up to be very handsome. The young females of Paerus are in trouble when they see you both."

Suddenly, from another pair of double doors, several servants came over to the table with several carts of food.

Whatever I wanted to eat was on those carts. At least the food looks like what we ate on Cebromia - T-bone steaks, mashed potatoes, rolls, salad, and plenty to drink. The other cart had salmon, lobster, and several other dishes. The dishes were placed on the table for everyone.

Each personal servant asked what we wanted to eat and fixed our plate. The personal servants then left. This is going to take a while to get adjusted to.

"Nerina, the boys were telling us earlier the last time they saw Tristian and Talise. They both sailed on a cruise ship," my mother says while we began to dig into the food.

"In talking earlier, I mentioned that Brooke, Chanelle, Simone, and their friends took a two-week cruise to Ralmainia. You'll have to forgive me, but it is going to take time for me and my brother to get used to the different names. Brooke said she met a guy named Jason. On the cruise, they saw Asher and his fiancée Crystal."

His mother was disgusted. "Don't mention her name ever again. I was so glad that he dumped her. Last transmission to me Tristian and Talise were back together."

Brooke and Asher are back together?

Asher's mom continued, "He mentioned that Crystal and another person set them up to break up. We were more than thrilled to hear that they were back together."

I'm happy they are back together too. I really liked him for Brooke.

"Anyway, she said her friends, Miki and Kristina died strangely on the ship. Both girls seemed like they were being eaten up from the inside. Just their skin was left."

Suddenly, my parents, the king, and queen choked on what they ate.

My mother screamed, "That means Krohals was on that ship!!! Somehow, he knew Talise would be on that ship. He disguised himself in someone else's skin. It is imperative we find that ship!!!"
