A/N This is important if you want to join in or read the sequel! Not sure if I will write the sequel or not but I do have the idea and general plot figured out soo-

Third Person p.o.v.

Nexus was led into a room with white walls and comfortable couches that were, again, white. Nexus collapsed on one of the couches, exhausted.

"Tell the pilots to set for Headquarters immediately." The dark haired woman ordered two soldier-like guards holding guns. They nodded and marched out of the room. The woman sighed and sat down opposite Nexus.

"I still can't believe... you lived." The woman said, her voice quiet,"Polus... were you the only one stranded?" Nexus didn't reply, he felt tears prickling the corner of his eyes. They started off with thirteen, thirteen people, and only one survived. It made him feel so lonely, all of a sudden.

"I'm sorry." The woman said abruptly, seeing Nexus' tears. She stood up just as Nexus heard a low hum, then the spacecraft began to rise slowly. It zoomed off suddenly, Nexus staring numbly at the windows as the black space and glittering stars blurred together.

"You can rest... I'll show you your room if you want." The woman suggested, and Nexus gave a feeble nod. He was led to a small room with a bed and a bathroom. Nexus didn't care anymore, he flopped down and slept.

Several hours passed by, and Nexus awoke slowly. His mind felt clearer now that he had gotten a proper bed to sleep in. His heart felt like it was being grabbed by a fist.

He cleaned himself up as well as he could, seeing a set of clothes laid out for him. It was slightly bigger for his size because he had gotten so much thinner during this week, but he wore it anyway. Physically, he felt so much better, but mentally he was no closer to healing than he was before.

He sat down, not knowing what to do now that he was awake. He didn't want to dwell on the past anymore, but-

His brother.

Was he alive? Nexus clearly pictured his apologetic face when he pushed Nexus into the escape pod, and Nexus couldn't see what his fate was. Hopefully, but unlikely, he had escaped the Impostors...

He got a sudden brainwave. Maybe the rescue team knew something about him?

He got to his feet and pulled the door open to see the woman standing outside the door. "Oh, sorry. I see you're awake." The woman said,"Do you need anything?" "I was thinking... before I ended up on Polus, my brother.. and I... our explore team was attacked by Impostors, do you know... if he's alive... or..."

The woman hesitated, then she said,"I'm sorry, but.. you mean Liam Blake, right? He... was found dead, again, I'm sorry," Nexus' face fell, his heart sinking once again. However, he held himself together.

"I guess I expected it.." Nexus sighed, sitting down on his bed again.

The woman looked down,"I'll leave you now... feel free to ask for something to eat or drink.."

"Actually, I'm starving." Nexus admitted,"Food would be great."

~

The woman returned several minutes later with a tray of sandwiches and a bottle of water. Nexus devoured the food hungrily, it was the best he had ever tasted since Polus. It was nice to have a change of food after days of eating pizza.

"That was good." Nexus told the woman, who had sat down next to him,"Thanks." The woman nodded,"Forgive me for asking, but what exactly happened on Polus?" She asked.

Nexus stiffened, but he felt like he wanted to talk about it to someone.

He took a deep breath and retold the entire story of what had happened on Polus. The woman gaped and listened silently to his tale. Some moments, Nexus had to stop because it was too hard for him to tell, but eventually he finished.

"And... you showed up with the spacecraft, and yeah..." Nexus felt more tears threatening to spill. "That's... horrible. I'm so sorry that happened to you." The woman's eyes brimmed with tears as well.

Nexus couldn't speak, but he was grateful for the woman's sympathy.

"Excuse me, would you, I need a moment to myself." Nexus said. "Of course. I'm sorry I made you remember all those tragic events... really, I am..." The woman gave him a sincere look, and a concerned one that convinced Nexus the woman was going to get him some therapy and mental help.

"It's okay." Nexus' voice was stiff.

The woman left the room without another word, closing the door behind her.

The woman walked over to the control room. "Eight hours left until we get back to base, ma'am." One of the pilots said. The woman nodded and continued, until she reached her own room. Closing and locking the door, she took out her phone and dialed a number.

It wasn't long before the other accepted the call,"Well?" A gruff voice asked. The woman's face visibly fell. She suppressed a sigh, clearly, she actually didn't want to talk with the person. "I got everything out of him. He believes there's no Impostors on the planet, and that it's safe for people to take back the base. However, he was visibly traumatized by the experience, so-"

"Good." The voice sounded a little gleeful,"The plan's working perfectly. I knew it would." "You didn't plan for the young astronauts to land on Polus. It wasn't even a plan." The woman reminded him bluntly.

"Shut up." The voice snapped,"The point is... our Impostors will get a good meal, won't they." "One that'll be remembered, certainly." The woman agreed, though her voice was monotone and emotionless, with just a hint of sarcasm.

The voice hesitated, then said,"Have you decided on the list of people for the Airship? I believe it's time to put part B of my plan in motion." "Yeah. I've gathered all the people already, I just need to convince my boss-not you- to launch the Airship earlier." The woman said. Her tone suggested that she wasn't happy about it.

"Great, great... and of course, the Impostors are mingled in?" The voice was enthusiastic and evil.

"Yes." The woman replied.

"Well, well, well..." The voice said cheerfully, talking to themselves more than to the woman,"This'll certainly be a new era for the Impostors!"
