Peter woke up screaming my name, almost scaring me senseless. My eyes shot open and I instantly began rubbing his back.

Peter sobbed into my chest, hugging me tightly. I whispered reassuring things into his ears. What scared Peter so badly that he was crying?

"Web-Head? What's wrong?" I asked him gently. He took a few moments, then in detail, explained his dream to me. When he finished, he burst into tears. I was still in shock for a few minutes, but then I managed to collect my thoughts and I went back to rubbing Peter's back soothingly.

"It's okay. Shh, It's okay," I whispered in his ear. He sniffled. I kissed his forehead while he cried. My heart was being teared to shreds watching Peter cry.

"Peter," I whispered. He looked up towards me.

"Yea," he said. I smile towards him and kiss his nose.

"It's not going to happen. It's just a small nightmare," I told him. He smiled at me and nodded.

"And guess what? As long as I'm here that's not gonna happen," I whispered in his ear.

He smiled and soon feel asleep in my arms.

"I love you," I whispered in his ear.
