1.

Don't blame me if this story is shit, I'm under 18 and honestly don't have good grammar.
Whoops

(Xena pov)

I woke with a small groan.
The sun was beating down on me, it's hazardous rays reflecting off my pale skin.
I tried to move, but something keep me in place.
I saw someone above me.
The face was hazy, but the voice was harsh and gruff, making it easy to know who it was.
'Get up' he growled, standing over me.

I let out a pained whimper as I placed my hands on my sides, pushing me up.
There was a scoff from beside me.
'Don't be so dramatic Xena, you'll live' growled a high pitched voice.
My eyes snapped open and I shot up, glaring at the person I had hoped on my grandmothers grave was dead.
Fletcher.

I tried to get up, but was hastily stopped
By the man, now identifying as the cook from the ship.
He indicated to my leg.
'Incase you have gone blind, which I believe you always were, your caught in an anchor. It's a miracle you made it to the island in this condition'

'Bloody nightmare more like' fletcher muttered under his breath.
The captain glared at him.
'Your nine fletcher, language' he warned.
Fletcher once again muttered under his breath.

Fletcher! What did I just say to you eh? Behave or I will feed you to the sharks!' The man shouted, pulling me to my feet
After untangling the anchor.

'Thank you Mr-' I started.
'Eh, no misters here, its paddy from now on, do you got that?' He asked, pointing his pocket knife at both of us.
We nodded quickly.
Paddy had always been a scary enough prospect when my mother was Around, but now that she wasn't?
Brr

I scanned the horizon.
The sun was directly over the island we were standing on.
The turquoise seas blended with the baby blue sky, clouds from the storm not fully gone yet.

There was a forest of some sort directly behind where I was, some fruit was visible on trees.
There were a few crates and barrels from the ship that had floated off.
Some were on land, most floated in the ocean.

There was a dull pain electrifying my leg every so often, an ozing wound from where the anchor had tore the skin of my lower leg was sickening to look at.

The man, paddy, walked away to what seemed to be parts of the ship, leaving me and fletcher.
He turned to me, looking smug.
"So, what's it like to know that I survived and there is literally nothing you can do about it?"
"Shut up and drown"
"Your insults used to be more creative.."
Fletcher said, shaking his head sadly and walking off.

This was going to be a long stay.

Note:
Most of these chapters will be short, but don't expect quick updates! I don't have great motivation rn-
And sorry for the bad writing-
