We got on the bus and everyone was confused as to why we needed a bus. I explained it as there were these things called cars that work as horseless carriages. That seemed to get the message through to them and I drove them to the mall. 

When we arrived, Philip actually gasped.

"Why is this building so big and why are there so many lanterns? Couldn't that start a fire?" 

"No, Philip. Those have lightbulbs that run off this thing that we invented around the late 1870's called electricity. They harness energy and create light from it." I explained as we got off the bus and walked inside. They all were speechless when they walked in the door. John looked around and ran automatically ran to Hot Topic. 

"What's this place Liz?" He asked in awe as he stared at a Baby Yoda throw blanket in the window. 

"Ok that's Hot Topic. Nerd store supreme. We'll come back there, but first, clothes." I dragged them all around until we finally decided on some outfits (I'll share one for each character below)

After that, as I promised, I took them to Hot Topic and bought them all something fun. John got a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Plushie and a shot glass. Laf got a french flag pillow and a mug with a poodle and the Eiffel Tower on it. Philip got a hat that had the MARVEL logo on it and a keychain with Krampus on it. (I actually have this on my keys) Alex got a stationary set with pencils with famous quotes by famous writes on them. Aaron got a T-Shirt that said Panic! At the Disco and a water bottle that had a corgi on it. Thomas got a magenta Schrute Farms shirt. James got a Billie Eilish T shirt because apparently he "Liked the colors". Washington got a sweater that said "Dad friend". Peggy got a Panic! At the Disco shirt. Eliza got a long sleeve shirt that had Queen Elizabeth II on it and it said "I'm not a princess, I'm a Queen" Angelica got a purse that was pink and said "On Wednesdays we wear Pink" and Maria got a red nail polish in a skull shaped container and some Mulan scrunchies. 

Once we finished we drove back to my house and I got them all set up in the guest rooms. Alex, John, Laf, Burr, and Herc were in one, Maria, Philip, Angie, and Eliza were in another, Thomas, Madison and Washington were in the last one. Since we ran out of beds, Peggy was rooming with me, which I have no complaints about

"This house is really big Liz. How do you afford this?" asked Peggy as we sat down in my room. 

"I actually own my own recording label, which means I produce music for famous people." 

"Wow! Can you introduce me to some music you like?" she asked.

"Sure. Here, I'll play you a song from a musical my friend Lin wrote!" I grabbed my phone and started playing "What the Heck I Gotta Do" from 21 Chump Street. 

"The plan was called 'Operation D-'..."

*TIME SKIP TO END OF SONG BECAUSE I'M LAZY TODAY*

"Wow! I really liked that. Your friend is a talented songwriter. Has he written anything else?" 

"Yeah actually. He's working on a new musical right now actually. I think it's about something historical, I don't really know." I responded. "I should have him over to meet you guys this week." I grabbed my phone and texted Lin.

Hey Lin, do you wanna come over and hang out tomorrow?

Sure!  Does noon work? I have to be back at the theater by 5 for rehearsals.

Definitely. I have people I want you to meet. I'll explain when you get here.

K. See you then.

I set the phone down and turned to Peggy. "Lin's gonna come visit tomorrow." I walked out to the living room where the rest of the 18th century people were sitting and talking.

"Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I have a friend coming over tomorrow. So try to be behaved and not act like heathens." 

"We will try our best!" said Eliza. She was such a cinnamon roll, I wanted to hug her. I had a feeling her and my resident Linnamon Roll friend would get along really well. 

"Ok. So, who wants to watch a movie? I've got Jurassic Park ready to go."

"What's Jurassic Park?" asked John.

"It's a movie about a guy who brings dinosaurs back from the dead and starts a theme park. It's really good." 

"Are there any turtles?" 

"No. But if you want turtles, tomorrow we can watch the Neverending Story. It's one of Lin's favorite's anyways." 

"Ok then. Lets watch this 'dinosaur' movie." said Maria. I put the movie in and we watched it and laughed about how dumb all the people were and the historical people screamed whenever anyone died or got hurt (so a whole lot) and there was no place I would rather be in the world.
