Jack's POV

Apparently being friends with Mr popular is great! Alex has a large group of friends. His group consists of Zack Merrick, Rian Dawson, Oli Sykes, Kellin Quinn, Vic Fuentes and now me. Alex's girlfriend Lisa is constantly attached to him. She's like a fucking limpet! I smirk at Alexs attempt to pry her off him but her lips are attached to his neck. I catch his eye but I can't look away. His eyes make me feel fuzzy and his smile (when directed at me) is infectious. I wish I was in Lisas position. Wait! What the fuck am I thinking?? I'm straight!

"Ok so me and Jack have an ongoing competition" Alex admitts to the group at lunch. Lisa walked off with her girlfriends and Alex seems glad to be rid of her. "So what competition is it?" Oli asks. "Well Oil, we're competing to prove who's the straightest in the school. It's totally me" Alex states. "Yeah right Lex," the nickname falls from my lips. He blushes brightly and the group exchange glances. "I'm straight as all Hell bitch so dream on" I roll my eyes. Alex grins. "Well Jacky," he retorts. I smile at the nickname "all the gay people go to Hell so you're as straight as the gays?" He asks. "What?..no..I..I" I stutter. "Lex my head hurts" I whine pouting. Alex just grins.

Alex's POV

The day passes by pretty quickly; Jack, Rian, Oli, Josh, Vic, Kellin and I sit at lunch and we spend it pissing about. I've spoken to Jack a lot today, he's in most of my classes, he likes a lot of the bands I do and he's pretty damn cool. I think we're gonna get along really well.

"Lex my head hurts" Jack whines and pouts. Goddamn he has a cute pout. Wait I'm straight! I can't think my best friend is cute!! "Ummm Lex you just said that out loud. We're best friends?" Jack asks. I blush again. I still can't get over the name. "Yeah sure! Why not?" Kellin nudges me "oh fuck of Kells. Just coz you and Vic are together and Zian is real doesn't mean everyone else is gay!" Oli coughs "ahem!"

"Oh yeah. Sorry Oli. I forgot about Josh." Oli and Josh met over the holidays and they've been inseparable ever since. "Hey! Party my house! Tonight!" I demand. Everyone nods and Jack starts bouncing. "Chill Jacky! You're like an over excited puppy!" I exclaim. He just giggles and keeps pouting. He's so cute. Woah! God I need help.
