"Who are you? What do you want?" Frankie questions, beginning to feel extremely dizzy with fear.

"The names Billy," he introduces, "I wanna know a lot of things. Lets start with why you always wear that stupid watch?" Frankie self consciously grips her wrist. No one ever noticed it before. She wears it to cover up her number.

"How would you know if I wore it all the time, creep?" She growls.

Billy grins creepily.

"Because I see you everyday, waiting for Steve Harrington. Is he the king everyone says he is? I bet he'd be real down if he found out you got into an accident."

Frankie's eyes widen.

She's stiff. She doesn't dare move a muscle as Billy steps closer to her.

"You know, I've gotta admit, it is a pretty nice watch," he hums.

When his hand reaches towards her wrist, she yanks it away. This causes the older boy to narrow his eyes at her, clearly annoyed.

"Relax, kid. Just give me the watch, and I'll let you leave."

"No," she growls, holding her wrists. She wouldn't risk someone seeing the stupid numbers.

*flashback*

"Here," Alex hands the small girl a watch. She takes it carefully and stares down at it confused.

"What are this?" The child questions.

"What is this," Alex corrects, helping her wrap it around her wrist, "it's called a watch."

Frankie smiles down at it.

"What if papa sees it?"

"Don't let him. He won't let you keep it," Alex sighs. If only this poor child was not trapped in this hell.

"What's it for?" Frankie asks.

"It's more numbers; to cover up your numbers. Also, for telling the time."

-

"Why would you want it, anyway? You look too dumb to tell time," Frankie sasses.

Billy seems to be becoming more and more impatient with her. "Just give it!"

He reaches out to her again, this time he gets a good grip around her wrist. Frankie screams and struggles to escape his grip. No one can hear her over the loud music at the party playing.

"LET ME GO!" Frankie shouts, crying and frantically pulling her wrist away from the boy.

Billy becomes visibly nervous as she begins to scream louder.

He raises his other hand to cover her mouth, but because her head is moving so much, it only results in him accidentally hitting her nose. This is when he finally releases her. She falls back into a street sign, hitting her forehead.

Her nose is gushing blood now, and there is a small wound directly under her eye.

"Fine," Billy grumbles, not feeling an ounce of remorse for his actions, "keep the stupid watch. I'll get it one way or another."

With that, he walks back towards the party and to his car. He angrily climbs into his car and drives off, leaving a few random people to call after him. Frankie holds her head and begins to cry more and more. She hugs Steve's jacket to her.

She just wants to go home.

With a loud sob, the girl begins to walk down the dark road. The only option is to walk home.

As she walks along the road, her eyes spill tears, and her nose gushes blood. Eventually, a car pulls up besides her, reminding her of a moment she once lived through before.

"Hey kid, do you need a ride?"

She recognizes the voice immediately, and turns to the vehicle with relief. As soon as Steve lays eyes on the girl, he jumps out of the vehicle.

"Jesus Christ, Frankie!" He exclaims, gently grabbing the girl's chin.

He examines her wounds and worriedly looks down at her. She looks so soft, and broken. He can clearly see how relieved she is to see him. He can also see that she is in desperate need of a hug.

"What happened?" He mumbles softly, pulling her close to him.

She lets out a loud sob in response, unable to form words at the moment. He thought he was having a bad night.

"It's okay. We're gonna be okay," Steve whispers to her, reassuringly.

She hugs him like he might leave if she lets go. Her body is trembling, and Steve can tell that whoever did this must've really shaken her up. He feels angry for not being here. He should've never gone to that stupid party. It was crap anyway.

He can't concentrate on the previous events right now. All he can focus on his Frankie's sobs, and the way she's shaking.

Whoever hurt her is gonna fucking pay.
