Magical mistake.... (Norway) Part 1
I got this request from a good friend of mine and I have to say she's such a nice person. She listened to all of my problems, even then when no other person would do it. I just want to say 'thank you' and I really mean it. This is for you fangirl0311. I hope you will like the story.

It was my third birthday. After I opened my presents my grandma came up and gave the last one to me. My (e/c) eyes widened and a happy smile bloomed on my face.
It was a little doll, hand made and quiet cute. I loved this kind of things like nothing else and hugged her like every child would do to the ones it loved dearly.
She laughed whole heartly and crouched down to meet my high.
"(F/n), this is a doll I hold very dearly. It holds a secret and I think, if you can find out what it is, it will be a good friend to you. Do you think you can take care of it?"
I looked at the poppet in my hands. It seemed like a boy, but I thought it was quiet cute and as every kid would, the so called secret woke a huge interest within me. When I looked back at her I smiled brightly and pressed the doll to my chest. My family smiled at my doing and as I played with my new toys the day came to an end.
As time went by the doll became my everlasting companion and no one could separate us.
One night thought, I woke up in the early morning hours. The darkness in my room scared me and I wimpered quietly. With the blanket pressed to my chest I looked around the room. The moonlight was blocked out through my curtains and I would like nothing more as to open them just to have some light, but I couldn't.
My little head played tricks on me nonstop. I fantasied about monsters under the bed who would grab and take me away the moment I would leave my bed. At this thought I began to notice shadows all around the room, with meanecing smiles and creepy faces looking at me, ready to hunt me down until the sun would rise....
"Help....."
I wispered nearly in tears. It wouldn't take much longer until I would brake down, crying like the little kid I was.
At this secound the curtains were opened and light flooded my room. The moonlight took away my fears right this instance. Just as I looked around my eyes landed on a figure by the window.
It was a young man clad in a sailor-suit, his platinum blond hair shining in the moonlight. The guy looked at me with dull naivy blue eyes. His hand still on the curtains. He had opened them for me, but....
"Who are you?"
I called out quietly as to not wake my parents. Yes, I know he was a stranger, but he had 'saved' me from all the monsters, so I wanted to know more about him.
He closed his eyes for a short while, then opened them again and came to me.
The boy sat beside me on the bed and reached out. His fingers brushed away a tear on my cheek and then caressed my hair lightly.
"I'm Lukas."
As he said that his voice sounded monoton and I could hear his accent clearly.
"Lukas......how come you are in my room?"
Lukas looked to the window, then he sighed.
"I'm the doll your grandmother gave to you."
I blinked at this once, twice and continued to look at him.
"You are......my doll?"
He nodded his head, then I noticed the similarety. My doll was wearing the same as him. Even his hair and eyecolour was the same, but the biggest evident on his statement was the cross-clip in his hair.
I slowly reached out and touched his face a little. He was real. I wasn't dreaming.
He sat still as I touched him and didn't do anything to stop me.
"How can it be you are a boy now when you are a poppet?"
I asked him quiet confused but also exited. This had to be the secret my grandma told me about!
Lukas looked at me and shook his head.
"I'm not normaly a doll. I'm a human, a cursed human thought."
He explained simply.
"What means 'cursed'?"
I asked him again.
He looked into my (e/c) eyes and shook his head softly.
"This would be a bit much for a child. I will tell you when you are older."
I pouted at this. Why do adults always say I need to get older for things? It's so annoying!
He smiled just a tiny little bit at me, nothing more then a short rising of his lips. He patted my head again.
"I promise I will tell you when the time comes."
I nodded and looked at him again.
"Lukas? Why do I meet you just now? I have you since....."
I counted my fingers slowly, but couldn't get the right answer. It was to long ago for me to count the days with my hands.
Lukas took my hands in his and looked at me.
"Remember? You left me by the window so I could look out. The moonlight helped me turn into a human again."
Yes, I remembered. Normaly I would always take him to bed with me and he had no chance to be touched by the moonlight, but today I sat him on the windowsill and forgot to take him with me. This was probably the reason for my bad dreams.
On the other hand, I wouldn't have learned what I did when I hadn't forgot him there. I looked up again.
"When I put you by the window every night, would you be happy?"
Lukas looked at me and nodded a little.
"Can you......sleep with me even when you are a human? I mean....."
He smiled a little more and caressed my hair again.
"Yeah. I can do that (f/n)."
I smiled at him, then I got another idea.
"Lukas? Can I...call you 'big brother'? I don't have one and...."
At this moment Lukas hugged me tightly and even smiled a real smile, with sparkling blue eyes.
"Yeah. You can do that. I would love that (f/n)."
I giggled at this. He seemed far more happy with it then me, so I nodded.
"Ok. So you are now my big brother."
A year went by. Every night after my parents brought me to bed I put Lukas by the window and waited for him to turn and every night he would talk and lay down with me. He told me about his home and friends, about the fairies he could see. At day, I took him with me everywhere and I would talk with him even when he couldn't answer me. I loved him so dearly. He was my best friend and big brother after all.
That was until my mother thought I was to old for a 'fairy friend'. She told me again and again that Lukas wasn't real. I defended him with all my might and told her that he was real. She didn't believe me and no one other then my grandma would. She knew Lukas, too.
Then, one day we got a call. My mother talked with someone over the phone and I could hear that she was down. She even screemed and cried. I waited for her to end the call and then went over to her.
"Mommy? Who was that?"
I asked her quietly, still confused why she was crying so much, but then she went to my room. I followed her to see what she was after, but then I saw she was taking Lukas.
I screemed at her she should leave him alone, but she only shoved me by side and took him away. I couldn't see where she put him, but at the time she came back she told me that grandma and dad had a car accident. And that they won't return to us. She told me that it was time to act more like an adult and that I wouldn't get my poppet back.
You see, my grandma and dad where on a tour to get new clothes for Lukas. I thought he needed some new ones and begged them to get them and on the way back, they had this accident. My mother thought I was guilty and so was the doll. She never returned him to me. Never.....
