Sebastian and Dave witness what Blaine was doing outside, and the fight from Kurt and Blaine afterwards.

Sebastian and Dave go over to Kurt and comfort him and help him after Blaine stalks off.

Sebastian tries and gets Kurt to put in a report because it's s*xual assault and attempted r*pe.

Kurt returns to Dalton.

Dave decides to return to Dalton to protect Kurt as well. 

During The First Time ep, we see Dave and Kurt get closer and talk while Sebastian is with Rachel

They never speak to Blaine again.

Blaine leaves McKinley.

Blaine also never touches alcohol again. 

Kurt and Dave don't go to West Side Story. 

We see Mercedes start to be friends with Unique

Finn is upset that Rachel is spending time with Sebastian when he sees them at the Lima Bean talking. (This is in place of Sebastian talking with Blaine. So instead of Blaine being there. It's Rachel instead which is where it's revealed that they are childhood best friends, and childhood best friends with Puck)

The First Time is also where we are introduced to Ryder, Jake (Where Mercedes leaves for Carmel and Vocal Adrenaline) and Marley is introduced with a mention as a star with Harmony..

 Vocal Adrenalin- Jake and Ryder- we see them in background but Jake is front and center with leading the choreography

The Unitards- Marley mentioned from Jesse to the team at the end of the ep. (It would develop them as characters and give them back stories, it would also set them up as proper characters for S4-S5 and see why and how they ended up at McKinley in the first place instead of randomly coming in out of nowhere for S4).

during the ep we see Puck talking to Spencer (one of the extras for West Side Story) about joining the New Directions.

Brittany seeks out Madison to join The Troubletones and gets the exception for Mason and they both participate in West Side Story.

(This would develop Spencer, Madison and Mason properly and give them character arcs as well, and would benefit for the newbies for S4 all the way through to S6.)

End of the episode we see Mercedes getting yelled at and then Jesse kicking her out of Vocal Adrenalin for not trying and for being lazy, and for being rude and disrespectful to the team and Unique.
