and because of the lots of notes between us two it's going to be a two parter.. so this is part 1

So something interesting.. 

It's another S3 episode rewrite that could have changed a lot of the direction for S3 onwards, but this time it's a collaboration, which I've never done before, and this ep rewrite is one of importance just like I Kissed a Girl (part 9) was and this one is a really sensitive one too because of what happened in the ep. and because of the sensitivity i will be censoring some parts. 

Firstly: We don't erase canon sexualities but to StarcrossedShipper95 and I Blaine is the only exception because of him questioning in Blame it on the alcohol and leading Rachel on and what seemed like he enjoyed that kiss with Rachel, and then him wanting to kiss Tina in Sadie Hawkins and leading her on throughout that season too. And we are also not erasing Sebastian's gay sexuality because it was never mentioned or confirmed that he was gay in the show.

Trigger Warning: mentions of s*x and mentions of Blaine's drunken attempt to Kurt. and small mentions of biphobia, mentions of assault, and mentions of being pressured. This part will also mention what Finn did at S2 nationals which is considered s*xual assualt and will also mention the s*xual harrassment from Jacob Ben Israel to Rachel that no-one at McKinley seems to care about especially Finn and Will.

We didn't like the episode at all.  What Blaine attempted to do while drunk was awful and is actually considered assault especially since Kurt kept saying no.

Plus the scandals situation was wrong. And the West Side Story plot was messy too. a lot could have happened differently in that episode.

Blaine shouldn't have been Tony at all

The Scandals situation should have been handled better and not basically brushed off with an apology and a "Last time you were drunk you kissed Rachel." It's not an excuse at all.

So here is what we would have done..

Please don't take the ideas.. it is original, with small aspects kept from the show and also this is the first time I'm collaborating with someone else through my rewrite notes, and they are passionate about this Ep rewrite because of what actually happened in the episode at Scandals, and how it was all handled and brushed off and not spoken about again. and i really do agree that the ep needed the rewrite ep like how I Kissed A Girl did, and I was more than happy to help them a lot with it and collaborate with them and putting some of my own ideas with theirs to create something better than what the show gave us for the ep

So enjoy this and be mindful.. 

After Kurt saves himself from Blaine attempt and while Blaine is upset, he yells at Kurt walking away:

"I've been bi this whole time, but i claimed to be gay to appease you! and yes I did enjoy sober kissing Rachel."

They fight and break up for good and Blaine runs away upset because of Kurt rejecting him

Dave walks out of Scandals, sees Kurt upset and goes to comfort him and be the shoulder to cry on.

with Sebastian being at Scandals he actually witnesses everything between Kurt and Blaine. and is appalled and disgusted by what Blaine did.

Sebastian's tone towards Kurt changes, and he instantly becomes protective of him and tells Kurt that he was never after Blaine, he only did that to irritate him, which Sebastian stops doing.

Sebastian eventually reveals that he's really after Rachel but she's with Finn.

He convinces Kurt to go back to Dalton to be safe after what Blaine tried to do and vows to protect him.

Sebastian and Kurt end up being best friends

Kurt helps Sebastian get Rachel in which it is revealed that Sebastian remembers Kurt from when they were kids, before he moved away and he met Rachel and Puck as kids.

Sebastian is pansexual but loves Rachel a lot.

Rachel and Finn never do it. They are broken up because of Rachel being bi.

West Side Story is still the musical, but Blaine is dismissed as Tony for what he did to Kurt, and because he wasn't a senior and never actually auditioned for Tony in the first place.

With Kurt back at Dalton to be safe yet again and so Sebastian could protect Kurt a lot. Puck is bumped up to Tony instead last minute. and Puck and Rachel show how much of leading duo they are and provides more duets with them (Which they should have had- More duets)

Blaine and Finn get bumped to 2nd tier status in the New Directions thanks to Rachel, but instead of going to Will she goes to Bieste with Puck by her side. and that's when we learn that Rachel is bi and doesn't feel comfortable around Finn.

The ep also provides more little and subtle hints about Bieste's transition for the S5 season finale.

After not wanting to share Maria (Like Rachel wanted to do) and instead of the troubletones as Santana didn't want her in the group, Mercedes goes to Carmel for Vocal Adrenalin thinking she would get captain and spotlight there because of knowing Jesse and how he used to be part of the team with her.

But Jesse makes Mercedes work harder than what Schue did, which upsets her and makes her complain and say Beyonce never worked this hard. Which would make the Vocal Adrenaline team stop look at her dumb founded.

Jesse singles out Mercedes at the end of the episode and says: If you want to be the next Beyonce you have to work. you can not complain or throw a tantrum when you don't get your own way. The music industry is tough. you work for it. You work in rehearsals. You don't expect anything handed to you. You think Beyonce was lazy and didn't work hard to get where she is? because guess what Mercedes she did. I told you a year ago that you were lazy and don't work hard enough. It's why Rachel got that solo and Santana came in second, and Kurt was third. It's no wonder Rachel got Maria. In the music industry you work. How are you meant to be a successful singer if you don't work or put in the effort. You rock up late to a rehearsal you're done. you rock up late to a concert. you lose fans. you don't turn up to an interview because you overslept you're label drops you. You're lazy and you need to work Mercedes. No-one in the music industry gets anything handed to them on a silver platter without trying. There are no favouritism with me on this team Mercedes. You are not the star everyone is especially Unique who works harder than you possibly imagine. She's the star just like everyone is on the team. everyone except you that is because this is hard and it makes you upset to work hard and brings you with excuses. there's no excuses in the music industry Jones. So get back to rehearsing, otherwise you're done here. (Do I think Jesse will say all that to Mercedes and call her out.. Yes Yes i do and sorry that's a lot to read but Jesse is very opinionated and honest when it comes to the arts)

The troubletones are still created for the ep but with Santana and Sugar as the captains as Santana asks Sugar to be her co-captain, and it's Holly as the glee director instead of Shelby as Santana feels comfortable with Holly as the teacher because Holly helped Santana with accepting and feeling comfortable with her sexuality back in S2 in the episode Sex education. 

Santana seeks out Kitty and Bree from the cheerios and Sugar seeks out Jane from Drama club to join the troubletones with them.  (The ep is where i would have introduced some of the newbies from S4, S5 and S6 like Kitty, Bree and Jane for the troubletones to get to know them more, and give them more development especially Jane and Bree)

Blaine never goes to Dalton when the Warblers sing Uptown Girl.

Sebastian and the warblers sing Uptown Girl with Kurt's return to Dalton.

Rachel goes to Dalton to invite Kurt and the Warblers for West Side Story. she tells Kurt that Blaine got dismissed from the musical and is no longer Tony that it's Puck as Tony instead and Blaine and Finn got dropped to 2nd tier. and she would love it if her best friend and his team and also Dave were there to see the show. 

Rachel also tells Kurt that she and Finn broke up, and Mercedes left for Carmel. And Santana is the troubletones co-captain with Sugar and Holly is the coach of the troubletones and not Shelby anymore.

Rachel then sees Sebastian and is thrilled to see her childhood best friend and childhood crush is back.

Kurt is shocked at what Rachel but was undecided because of what Blaine did.

Sebastian pulls Rachel aside and tells her what Blaine did, and is the reason why Kurt is at Dalton to be safe from Blaine.

Rachel understands a lot because of Finn, and him letting Jacob Ben Israel s*xually harrassing her, which no-one seems to care about especially Finn and Will, and what Finn did numerous times with pressuring her, wanting to touch her in the grilled cheese ep of S2 and then kissing her against will at the Nationals in S2 after she kept rejecting him and telling him no that she didn't want to get back together with him, and he kissed her on stage knowing that she couldn't push him away or get angry and upset as she would have made the team get disqualified and people would have called her selfish for it. 

Rachel doesn't tell Sebastian about it.

The montage through West Side Story is of Sebastian and Rachel getting close instead.
