Hello everyone!!

So as you can see I made a book that I do plan on updating whenever I can!! And what better way to start this book then by telling you about today!!

So as some of you may know, today or in April 8 for the people in a different time zones, there was a solar eclipse!! Now I was really excited since this was going to be my first time seeing one!

A little background to why I was excited is because years back when I was in elementary school there was a solar eclipse happening. And little ol' me was beyond excited cause this was a big deal(and still is) to see such a phenomenon. So the teachers gave us some slips for our parents to sign that we have permission.

So I want home really excited cause I knew there was no way my parents would say no. So I went up to them and said

Dad can you sign this so I can look at the moon go in front of the sun?

Aw sweetie...
No

And my heart shattered. I had my hopes up high and he said no. I remember getting mad and going to my room to cry.

Fast forward to the day of the eclipse I remember kids lining up to go outside and as I tried to sneak my way, a teacher grabs and took me to the library. I remember how devastated knowing how everyone-well mostly everyone- could watch such an out of this world experience and I'm stuck inside seeing the science behind it in a screen.

I was sobbing quietly since almost any noise echos and how I kept looking at the screen frowning so hard at it. I thought it was never going to happen again.

Until it did. And now we're back at present time where I was excited to watch because we weren't at school and we had the glasses so we had to. My parents kept yelling at us for wanting to go and they said that our reckless actions were gonna get us blind.

Ngl I did stare at the sun for a split second but I looked away instantly so no harm done. Although I did see a little dot everywhere but it went away.

So it was around 1:30 and when we looked up(with the glasses ofc) we could see the moon getting closer to covering the sun and how everything slowly started becoming dark. I would walk around and doing little hops cause it was finally gonna happen.

At 1:45 you can tell how everything became much more darker and a bit chillier. I was so excited and then it was around 1:50 when everything went dark. Well not dark dark but yeah dark. We took our glasses off and looked around.

I think I was also the only one who didn't hear what my parents said and it was to not look at it during the transition so I was looking up like wow!! And next thing I knew they were shouting at me. I looked at my chickens cause they said that they were gonna act funny but they just stood there and nothing.

All of a sudden the dark quickly started brightening up and before we knew it, the sun was shining again. I'm not gonna lie but it was really anticlimactic than what I expected. I thought animals were gonna go crazy and it was gonna go cold but it just turned dark and pretty much it.

I'm still very happy that I got to experience it so yeah!! :DD

Also did you guys know is that around 20 couples got married today :0 like all at the same time which is crazy to me. Like imagine just telling your partner that you'll marry them when the sun and moon finally meet again and you gotta wait like 20 years 🧍‍♀️ like I'm probably gonna forget.

Also did you guys know it was Isamu's birthday on April 7?!! I forgot because I didn't have a calendar so I was really shocked about it!!! I couldn't do much but here is what I was able to draw!!

So yeah that yesterday night me and now it's morning me because I was gonna publish it a few hours ago and now it 4 in the morning But that is my past and present story of the solar eclipse.
