Horror story for school :) 

"Therapy Session"

I slowly opened my eyes, turning off my blaring alarm. I slowly rose to my feet, groaning in exhaustion. I got changed and put on my name tag that read: John Sphenson. Then, I exited my cell-like apartment. These small apartments were made so the workers, and me (the boss), didn't have to leave work. Plus, we could keep the front doors locked. Therefore, preventing break-ins. I made my way into the elevator and bumped into Bianca White. She's one of my co-workers that helped me build Flufi. Flufi was a new sensation and an idea I had a few years back. He was a children's therapy bot, equipped with sensory pads, so he could feel physical touch and pain. He could feel genuine emotions, He was extremely empathetic, so he could understand traumatized or sad children better. He did look rather odd though. He had a silver-white cat-themed head with two little black and cyan horns. His ears were floating off to the sides of his head. They were colored black with the inside being cyan. His head was floating off his neck and his face was a small screen that held a small smiley face. His left arm was pure black with little claws, and the other was a silvery-white hand with cyan paw pads. His torso floated above this ghost-like structure that served as his "legs" although, he floated to get around. Me and Bianca began to discuss how Flufi's tests were going. Then we reached the testing floor. We both exited the elevator. Now it was time to oversee and observe the tests.

The observation was a white room with a large window peering into the containment chamber. In the chamber there was a large, glass, cylinder that was connected to the floor. Flufi was floating in the center with a worker standing next to him. I watched the tests commence. Everything was going well, and Flufi was acing every single test. I was very proud. I haven't observed him often and focused on paperwork. I then stared off into space until I heard a scream. I looked into the testing chamber and almost screamed in terror. The tester that was with him was now on the floor, dead. Flufi was staring directly at me. His smile never faltered, but his face and screen was covered in a red substance. People pressed a button to turn off Flufi, but it didn't work. "Mr. Sphenson!" One of my co-workers yelled, "What do we-". He was cut off by Flufi slamming his hand through the glass, immediately shattering it. People began running, panicking and hitting alarms. I was frozen in fear. Flufi started to float towards me, a hand outstretched. Suddenly, I had the urge to run. So I did. I turned and ran. I ran and ran and ran until I made it to an open cell. The walls were made of glass-like walls that mimicked a farm. It had the bare necessities. A bed, bathroom, and a fridge. I hid in the corner of the room. Then, the lights shut off.

I covered my mouth in order to stop the noise of panting. I heard the small hum of Flufi's robotic parts approaching. "Johnnnnnn..." Flufi sang, oddly, his voice was dripping with venom. Why did he want me? Did I do something wrong? Before I could think, Flufi burst through the door. I screeched and stumbled back. I somehow managed to slip past him and run to the medical win of the facility. Then, I heard the door slam behind me.

"Now, now, John. Why are you running from me?" Flufi sang. As soon as I turned around Flufi grabbed my throat. I started choking and trying to breathe. Flufi eventually dropped me, but quickly started to inflict damage with his clawed hand. "You let them electrify me, you made me feel pain, you forced me to feel happy even though I never truly felt that way, You forced me to do and be things I NEVER wished to do!" Flufi ranted angrily. Then he stopped punching and laughed maniacally. "Now! I'll show you how YOU made ME feel!" He screeched. I screamed as he dragged my back to the glass cylinder. He hooked me up to some kind of cord. Suddenly, I felt myself being electrocuted. I screamed and tried to escape, but slowly, very slowly, my vision faded. The last thing I saw was a red-covered, smiley face.
