Setting: Cozy Home

"Oh, hey Chestnut. How was outside?"

"..."

"Really? Mrs. Harrison did that? That's funny." I took a sip of my coffee and looked out my apartment window.

"Did you meet George out and about? He usually gives the others treats."

"..."

"I see. Beef flavored? Nice."

"..."

"Yea, I miss mom and dad. But I'm an adult now. I have a job, gotta pay rent and stuff. But I have you guys and Liv. That's enough for me."

"..."

"That's sweet. I have to finish this paper but man.... I want to go to sleep."

"..."

"No, no I won't. Phil would kill me if I skipped it. I even slept 8 hour last night." I sighed, getting up and walking to the kitchen.

"Do you want anything?"

"..."

"Suit yourself."

"..."

"No, I can cook perfectly fine. I can't rely on Liv forever. She's really sweet but I've become somewhat of an addict to her cooking." I got out some eggs and vegetables and set them at the cutting board.

"Oh, I meant to ask, has Spook showed up at all? I haven't seen them and I'm getting worried."

"..."

"Oh, okay. So they found a forever home. I'm glad for them." I started cutting up some peppers and cracked a hard boiled egg.

"Well after this I need to go out to meet Phil about work. Will you be okay alone?"

"..."

"I know that. Still, I always feel bad leaving."

"..."

"Okay, okay." I finished making a mini salad and packed up.

"See you in a few hours."

Wowow, look at me. This could be interpreted as cats or spirits that eat. Or something else I dunno. Just some calm, boring vibes. A reminder to take a deep breath every once in awhile and relax, even for a moment.
