It's not the hunger games... okay?

World Building: In an advanced society with nothing to do but sit on their butts, they made a televised game. In this game, 10 teams of two (A ranged and a melee person) are put in a battle royale situation. They're highly trained warriors, and have a lot of experience. Through advanced gene sequencing and electric shocks, they can revive these warriors after their death. The gene sequencing takes about 9 months, so there's four "Seasons" a year (Like TV seasons). That's 20 warriors per season, each set with different people. All in all, there's 80 warriors who die and get revived all year round. After they die, they lose all personal memories. Most of the time, if a warrior is about to die, they'll just take them off the field and try to heal them before they die. They can recreate arms, legs, and basically everything if they're cut. They try to avoid death as much as possible. These people spend the off season getting their genes re-sequenced. There is a small catch. Information isn't just stored in the brain. It's stored everywhere in the body. The smaller amount of artificial tissue they have to create, the less the damage. If a person's leg is chopped off, they might not be changed much. If a whole torso has to be recreated, the person's personality could completely change. If the whole body is destroyed, the person who comes back is completely different, and won't remember hardly anything except their job as a warrior. The public doesn't know this, as they worship the warriors like celebrities and they don't want their favorites to be gone. Muscle memory seems to stick around. 

Prompt: The games are starting to bore the audiences, so the producers decide to add a twist in four seasons. 10 regular citizens will be chose from the whole country to participate in the games with a team. Main character A is chose, and has to try and survive the 2 1/2 month long games with two strangers, and their own personal skilled. Main character A is sequenced right away, and then the games begin.

Notes: For me, A was a girl. The season that she was selected for was the winter season. There was a short melee boy on their team, who was popular with the fangirls. The other one was a tall girl who used all sorts of ranged weapons. She had her whole body remade, and was never the same. For me, A had magic, and all the regular citizens chosen had magic. You could do that if you want, but you could also make A and the others have other random abilities, like advanced computer knowledge, or karate. The options are limitless. The arena can be anything too, from a city populated by monsters or a forest, or a desert. Anything goes.
