Story trope: loner x popular
Genre: Romance

So I'm thinking it starts with little miss loner.
She's probably new and confused on where to go in her new school. (Cuz duh) as she's walking she pulls out her phone and then bumps into some one. Who? Well isn't it obvious. It's not the popular kid. (Boi you thought) ok so little miss loner bumps into this other girl who's super pretty and popular.
The loner apologizes and try's to walk off when she's stopped by ... we'll call her Katie. So Katie stops her and asks if the loners lost and the loners name. The loner might as well get a name too so let's call her.... Rachel. Katie shows Rachel around and they slowly become friends. Rachel and Katie are now always talking and are bffs. Mr popular let's call him Mike. Mike is the most popular boy in school and want to date the prettiest girl there (like a jerk) the prettiest girl in school is Katie btw. So he try's flirting but it doesn't work.. he relies that Rachel's good friends with Katie so he decided he'd become her friend to get on Katies good side. But as he hangs out with Rachel he slowly develops feelings for her.. tbh I don't really have an ending for this plot but I thought it was the most basic so I might as well make it my first. Also I really think there first conversation would go something like this:

Rachel: *doing something at locker*

Mike: " hey " he said looking at the loner with confidence. He thought because she was a loner of course she would want to be his friend.

Rachel: *shigh* " what?" She said harshly closing the locker and glaring at him.

His confidence dropped a little

Mike: " why don't you and me be friends"  he says putting out his hand excepting her to shake it.

Rachel: " listen dude I'm not nore ever be your friend. I know what your doing you thinking that you can win Katie's heart though me. Sorry but no thanks." She said rolling her eyes that walking away towards her next class. To be quickly followed by a slightly impressed Mike.
