Jason walked down the path, his mind was swirling with memories. It's been a week since he met Seto, and it's like the world has open up. Jason could remember the day he was chosen to be the Virtue of Kindness, but most of his life was conducted to the same thing. Sameness. A routine working, other before himself all the time.
He had all that he needed, but he didn't have the words for this new feeling. This new feeling of... emptiness, that he could tell was in his chest. Incomplete. People conducting their lives in a pattern, but never noticed. Yet he... needed? to know more. These things Seto showed him, they were happy, yet also sad. Was it a need? No, he didn't need it to survive, but he couldn't see life without this.
They gave feelings of anger, sadness, and... was there really a word to describe when his eyes went wide and his mouth gaped open, yet he was happy. Jason felt like there was a word, but no one now knew it, but Vanitas knew it.
His eyes looked around at the new things he saw, these leaves didn't look dull. Seto called it 'Green' and Jason decided he liked it. It was pretty, bright in the light, seemed to change a bit in it, but stayed green. It was... bright? No, it was happy yet it was something else. But what?
Jason came out of his thoughts as Sky called his name, "Jason?" he said frowning, "Are you alright?" he asked.
"Fine..." Jason said to him, as they were nearing the castle, "Just fine." he told them, as Sky nodded slowly to him. The smaller one walked inside as he went to the main room, as he looked around at the things Seto called 'colors' they were everywhere. But, they had no word for Jason to call them by.
Was this was Seto saw each day? Jason felt something in him, anger that Seto saw this but he didn't? No, it was something else. It didn't have a word now, and that angered Jason more.
He sat there, now pondering a new word Seto told him, a feeling you get for people close to you, as he described it. He looked at his friends, then at Ty.
"Ty?" Jason asked, "Do you love me?" he asked, as Seto said loved met here a feeling of closeness with friends.
"Precision of language." Ian told him frowning, "You know, Jason, that word has no meaning here..." he told his friend.
Ty frowned also, "Well, your my friend Jason, and if you mean that I see you as a friend then yes I do." he told him, "That make sense?" he asked.
Jason sat there for a moment, "Yes." he said, "I think I do understand."
He did understand, a word for this emptiness he felt. It was a feeling of... want. Something that he didn't need, but he wanted to have. And maybe something he'd never have.

What do you all think, story worthy. It's based off The Giver.
