Clockmation

So, I've been watching alot of Batman lately, and decided to have a bit on fun with my own OC villain in most of my stories. Now, keep in mind this character is not suppose to be one of the character that is just a male or female version of another villain. This guy is very much his own thing. So anyone who says 'He's just like ____' will be met with facepalms and given the crown of 'Idiot'.

I'm trying not to make him like established villains, and no he won't be a mini Joker.

That being said I have read through many villains and with my own ideas I've built this guy up in my head and given him as sturdy of a skeleton as I can.

So, here is my idea.

"Honestly we aren't sure why someone would want to talk with him, sir." the doctor told the detective as they walked down the darken halls of the asylum. Their footsteps echoed in the silent halls, the detective huffed at that.

"I know how you feel at letting people in the lower levels doctor." he told her, "But, if this guy is as good as they say, then he might the only chance we have to understanding Joker." honestly, he hoped that his guess was true. He needed leads, but with the insane clown of Gotham, he could grasp how the other thought. His job was based on predictability on past cases, criminals who at least had a grasp of a coherent plan.

The doctor said nothing as she walked over into a door near a heavy guarded doorway. She walked over to the table and pulled out a file labeled 'Clockmation'. She laid it on the table as the detective carefully opened the file as the doctor talked.

"Clockmation, one of the villains that our police force... captured." she frowned, "Or, at least that's how they see it. Clockmation was the first villains put here when the asylum, and many call him the King of Crime here, or at least what little inmates have met him."

She pointed to one of the pictures, "Clockmation's real name, from what sessions with him have gathered, was Christopher." she told him, then moved to the bio, "What's shocking is, unlike most harden criminals we have here, Christopher had a very good life. Two loving parents, a baby brother, and a scholarship to be a technician. Yet, here he is."

The detective frowned, "I'll admit, it doesn't hold up, is there anything else, any reason how he turned into Clockmation?" he asked. The doctor sighed as she pulled out another large file.

"From what we gathered on his past, we can't find a reason for such a bright, promising boy could turn to crime. Coming from a middle class family, he wasn't very wealthy, but lived comfortably, so greed couldn't be one factor. Pain or lose isn't a factor either, his family is perfectly alive, his brother even works for Wayne Enterprise as a engineer." she leaned on the table narrowing her eyes at the paper. "The chips just don't add up."

He looked at her, "And what did Clockmation say to the questions asked about his past?" he asked.

She sighed, "That just makes it even more confusion, he said 'Because I wanted to'." she shook her head. "It's not a real answer, and not the answer we hoped for from him. But, what he does it much worse." she laid out the files.

"His style of crime is not like many we have seen. Who he kills seem to be people promising futures and well beloved by family." she raised up, "Clockmation has claimed he just likes to watch people suffer, he kills those with much 'Animation'."

The detective looked at the pictures they found with Clockmation, they were of funerals, the funerals of people he's killed. "So this sicko takes pictures of people in despair just because he can?" he asked.

She nodded slowly, "It seems so, as for the King of Crime part. Well, he's been around longer then you'd think, he started his madness at the age of 10 by harming animals first and people who bullied his younger brother. We thought bullies was a factor, flimsy but a lead. He laughed at the thought, saying he knew why he brother was picked on, and they were just a cover up for him to practice on."

"By the time he went full on on people, turning into a murder and homicidal killer. He had evaded over 123 arrest, 13 of the best detectives around the world, and has killed over 97 people, not counting the ones who killed themselves in their state of depression or ones we don't know of."

He looked at her, "I thought you said he kills those with Animation?" he asked

The doctor sighed, "People do die, it's hard to pin every case on him. So we have no idea which ones were him and which weren't. It's possible he only took pictures of the ones he liked the most." she closed the file. "All and all detective, if anyone can find your clown, he can. He knows all the methods and hiding places, and I am firm on the idea he's only here because he wants to be."
