Lauren's P.O.V

"What?!? Court?" Sophia asks/yells.

"Yes court. Since both of you were here at the scene of the crime, either of you could have done it."

"When will this "court" start?" Sophia and I asked.

"In 1 hour."

"What?!? I don't have that much time to get a lawyer!" Sophia yelled.

"Oh give me a break! Sophia I'll me your lawyer, and John you can be Lauren's." Ben said, obviously annoyed with Sophia's whining.

"Fine." We both said in unison.

---------------1 hour later-----------------

The living room had quickly been turned into a court Room.

The end table was being used as the podium, and the sofa was used to seat the defendant, and the prosecutor.

"Everyone please rise. The honorable judge Scott Even Dowed presiding." Max called out, since he was the bailiff.

Scott walked into the living room, wearing one of the choir robes from church.

"Please be seated. Okay... Wait why do I have a meat hammer? Really max?" Scott says.

"It's your gavel." Max whispers, but loud enough for us to hear.

"Well, you could have cleaned it off first. eww......Alright let's get started. Thank you all for coming today to this.... Trial...."

"Like we had a choice." Sophia mumbles.

"Quiet. Now who is the prosecutor?"

"I am." We both say in unison.

"Than who's the defendant?"

"She is." We both say as we point to each other.

"Ummm well, Sophia and ben you can go first. Please present your case and call your first witnesses." Scott says.

Ben walks up to the front of the room.

"I would like to call Sophia Prescott to the stand." Ben says.

Sophia walks to the front of the room and sits in the chair beside the judge.

"Sophia please state your name to the court." Ben says.

"Ben, you just said my name." Sophia says, obviously annoyed.

"Sophia, cooperate with me!" Ben whisper/yells at her.

"Ugg whatever. My name is Sophia."

"And please tell us your last name miss Prescott."

"Oh give me a break! Prescott!"

"Well, miss Prescott where were you right before the crime?" Ben asks his client.

"I was sitting on the sofa in the living room, when Lauren left to go to the bathroom. A few moments later, I heard a loud crash and ran out to the kitchen to see Lauren and the broken window!" Sophia says, definitely overdramatizing the situation.
Everyone fake gasps when she finishes.

"No further questioning!" Ben yells.
