Lauren's P.O.V

The first week of 8th grade has been going okay. Until today.
It was 6th period history. I was in class, and Mrs. McAllen was picking everyone partners for a civil war project.
And to be honest, I really wasn't paying attention. Already until I heard,

"Okay last last two people, so Sophia and Lauren I guess you'll have to be partners."

I almost stood up in my seat and yelled "that's now fair," but being the self controlled person i am, I just held it all in and smiled.

(A.N. If you remember from Chapter 10, Sophia is the girl who was mean to Lauren.)

I looked over to Sophia and she was just rolling her eyes.

Class finished shortly, and I made a beeline to Sophia.

"Sophia I know you wouldn't want me to be your partner, and I don't want you was a partner, so I'll try to get mrs. McAllen to change us as partners." I says.
But Sophia quickly replied with, "oh I don't mind, we'll meet at your house after school." She said, with a creepy smirk and walked away.
..................After School...............

I got a ride home from max, who just got his permit last week.

We got home safely, (thankfully) and every one was at home.

And not 2 minutes after I walked into the house, Sophia's mom pulled up into our drive way.

And in less than 15 seconds the door bell was ringing.

"I got the door! My history project partner is here!" I yelled, hoping someone heard me.

I opened the front door and Sophia automatically walk in and sat on the couch.

"So.... This is your house." She said with a disgusted look in her face.

"Umm yeah it is. Well, I have to go to the bathroom. I'll be right back." I say, then walk away.

I'm about to walk out of the bathroom when I hear a crash. It sounded like a window breaking.

I walk into the kitchen and see Sophia standing there, and glass from the broken window in the kitchen, all over the floor.

A few seconds after I got into the kitchen, Scott, John, and Ben came running into the kitchen.

"Who did this?!?" Scott yelled.

"She did it!!!!" We both yelled at each other. While pointing to each other.

"What I did this?" We said at the same time again.

"You were in the living room! You could easily do this!!!" I yelled at her.

"What do you mean? I was sitting on the couch!!! You left the room, you did this!!" She yelled at me.

"Both of you stop it!!!!" Scott yelled over all of the other yelling.

We both immediately stop yelling and stared at him.

"The only way to settle this is a dowed family court!!" He yelled.

Oh boy. See court at our house where Scott is the judge, John and Ben usually are the lawyers and Max is a bailiff.

I just hope this goes well.
