Lauren's P.O.V

Nothing much has been going on in our family. Scott has dropped out of college and got a great job at a bank near us. It pays well and he still has time to hang with us.
Ben also got a job at a grocery store to help pay some of the bills.

I only have 5 days till I get out of school. I can't wait. Nothing better than spending the summer in the pool. (Oh yeah, we have a pool. It not like huge or anything. Just enough space for my to chill.)
Other than that, not much has been going on..... Oh wait! My birthdays tomorrow! I can't wait. I mean Turning 13 is a big milestone in your life. You officially become a teen. Even though I don't think my brothers will treat me like one.
Anyway, today being that it Friday and we have half days at school, kit and I decided to have a lemonade stand. I mean what better way to get some
doe-ray-me in your pocket, than selling watered down lemonade to unsuspecting customers, who are really only stopping because they feel bad for you. (Wow that sounded kinda bad.)
Anyway, kit was supposed to be at my house right now, she was supposed to come here when school was over but I guess she had to stop at her house.
In the mean time, I was setting up outside. I was trying to make the stand look a little nice, when the boys came outside and started inhaling the lemonade. But they payed for it when they immediately started gagging.
"Lauren...what did you put in this!!!!" Ben yelled, in between gags.
"I might have added to much water. But can you really tell the difference?" I ask innocently. "*gag *gag yeah *gag."
"Okay well maybe you should make another batch, cause this is flat out scamming people." Ben says.
"Okay."
Once I'm done making more lemonade, I walk out side to see Kitt talking to my brothers, but as soon as I walk up they quiet down.
"What were you all talking about?" I ask.
"Oh, us??" Kitt asks innocently. "It was nothing." She says, answering her own question.
"Okay... Well that was weird. Anyway, it good you finally got here. What were you doing?" I ask, being my nosy self.
"Nothing. Anyway we should get started." She said quickly.
That kinda made me suspicious, but j blew it off.
By the end of the day we had made about 25 bucks, which was pretty good for a lemonade stand.

I went inside to see that none of. The boys were home, which was kinda weird.
Once Kitt saw the weird look on my face, she asked if I wanted to come hang out at her house.
"Yeah sure, let me get my bike."

It didn't take us long to get back to her house since it was only a half a mile away, but once we arrived at Kitts house, there were quit a few cars at Kitts house.
Okay somethings up, but Kitt seemed normal.
Right before we walked in the door, I started thinking of why Kitt would be acting weird, or why there were so many cars in front of her house, but as soon as I thought of why, it was too late.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!"
Scott immediately ran up to me and have made a bear hug the size of a.... Well, a bear.
Then be whispered in my ear,
"Happy birthday love! We love you so much!"

I gave a large amount of hugs that day.
The rest of the day consisted of cake, PRESENTS!!!, and a couple of games.

But once the party was over, I had said good bye and thank you to pretty much everybody, we finally left.

I got home ready to fall asleep, when Scott stopped me.
"Before you fall asleep, we have one last surprise, it's in your room."
I walk into my room to see a pretty fish tank, with a castle and two little plants, and two little fish.
I was so surprised, cause you would think Scott would never let me have a pet, but I guess fish are harmless enough.
"Thanks so much guys!!!!" I give ether a huge hug.
"Just remember you have to feed them and clean the tank." Ben said.
"Yup!!" I said, happily.

That was probably the best birthday.
