*Adeline picked up her bey and started to walk away, the group watched as the blader disappeared from sight*

Bella: That Shield Athena... it's so amazing..!!

Athena: For a bey named after me, it definitely is strong.

Lane: Yeah no, it's not named after you.

Athena: Come on damn it! Let me have this!!

Rangara: Well it kicked my bey-behind so there's that.. gotta hand it to her, that bey of hers is incredibly well made.

Bella: It really is something else..

Athena: Well we cant challenge her yet, Maybe she'll challenge other bladers and defeat them too, in the meantime we should take what we know and analyze Athenas every detail.. Still very weird...

Bella: Do you think there really is a weakness in it?

Athena: It may have great defense but it has to have a weakness in it somewhere.

Bella: I'm going after her.

*Bella took off running and Athena tried to go after her but she was long gone.*

Athena: B-Bella!!

Lane: Well... Too late now.

Rangara: Did she not heed my defeat? I got creamed by her and she has the guts to challenge her after seeing her power? Sometimes i just don't get what goes through her head.

Athena: I have no idea and i don't think she knows either.

Lane: Well what do we do know?

Athena: Wait til she gets back i suppose, no telling how long she'll be gone.. but knowing her, she'll be just fine.

Lane: Isn't she always?

Athena: Yep. She is.

*Bella had searched every crook and cranny of the streets of Japan and couldn't find Adeline anywhere, it was like she had just vanished*

Bella: There's no way she could've gotten that far in a short amount of time.. just where did she go?!

*Bella eventually checked the last place she could've checked and that was the Sparking Legend Tour Cruise Ship but she didn't know that yet. The ship now acted as another place where Bladers could train and it was even used for small scale tournaments*

Bella: Maybe she's in here?

*Bella headed onto the Cruise ship and she looked around for Adeline but still no luck, she eventually made it into the Arena where so many incredible battles had taken place in the past.*

Bella: Not here either..

*Bella had given up and she stood out on the harbor and watched over the sea as the water clapped against the walls*

Bella: Where? Where on earth did she go? There is no possible way she got that far in just a short amount of time..

*Athena checked in the last place she could possibly check and that was the Sparking Arena where so many intense battles had taken place, one in particular was the infamous Athena VS Lane battle that had taken place there years prior. It was still a very historic and one of the most intense battles the world had ever seen even in present day*

Bella: Maybe she is in there, i give up if she isn't here.

*Bella ran inside and the group had eventually caught up to her and Athena looked around at the surrounding area*

Athena: Well this area definitely brings back memories..

Lane: No need to remind me..

Rangara: I still question how we even found her..

Athena: I snuck a tracker into her pocket and followed her using my phone.

Lane: Of course you did.

*The group went inside and followed Bella*

---Meanwhile, In a Beylab in El Santo---

*It had taken a lot of time and effort but Main Kuromi had finished his new Michael, the bey rested on a small pad laying on the table and small sparkles of darkness was glowing around it*

Main: Your name will be Supreme Michael! Unlike the bey you were before, you'll be the bey that swallows the light instead of shining with it. You're a bey fit for an Overlord!

*Supreme Michael had a very round shape with a layer of 6 spikes (3 on both sides) on top that could be extended outwards at the start of battle which retracted later for a perfect circular shape. The face design of Michael resembled that of Lucifer2 and was horizontal instead of vertical and just like Beherit, it featured Burst Stoppers and unlike before, they would actually work. Its new fused driver Prominent was a driver that had a similar structure to the Shot Driver but had a very smooth bearing inside it and had a free spin POM plate which maximizes its stamina.*

Main: The perfect bey for me.. Now rise, Supreme Michael!!

*Main grabbed ahold of the bey and rings of darkness traveled up his arm and he began to scream loudly as his aura burst forth, a ton of power was surging through his veins at that very moment and a 6 winged figure was standing behind him in the shadows... Main was ready to take his revenge at last.*

---Later---

*The Sun was starting to set in Japan and Bella was out of luck, she couldn't find Adeline anywhere*

Bella: I give up, i have no idea where she could've went.

Athena: Yeah there is no possible way she could've gotten very far at all.

Lane: There's no way she just vanished like that.

*The group started to hear the faint sound of a violin playing*

Rangara: Wait, do you guys hear that?

Athena: Yeah..

Bella: It sounds like a violin..

*The group followed the sound of the violin and it brought them to the beach and there she was.. Adeline was standing on the shoreline gracefully dancing as she played a violin and her figure was eclipsed by the setting sun*

Bella: That's... amazing..!

Rangara: The sun is blinding but i can't look away.. it's beautiful..!

*Adeline continued her violin solo and the beautiful sound of the tune she played was enough to make even Lane shed a tear*

Athena: Lane? Are you crying?

Lane: No.. *sniff*.. Yes..!

*Adeline finished up her tune with an intense finale and raised her bow into the air upon playing the final note*

Bella: That. was. awesome!!

*Adeline looked over and saw the group heading towards her*

Adeline: You saw that?

Bella: Yeah, and it was so cool!

Athena: You're really good at playing the violin, it sounded just wonderful.

*Adeline smiled and started to put her violin equipment up*

Adeline: Well thank you.. thing is, i'm a traveling violin player. The money i make when playing on the streets goes to numerous charities all over the globe, Beyblade is more of a side thing for me.

Athena: Really?

Adeline: From the looks of things, you guys were probably looking for me and to that, i say i'm sorry. I'm sure Bella wanted to have a battle with me.

Bella: So you used your violin to lure us down here? and just when we're giving up too.

Adeline: Actually i've been playing the violin all day since i defeated Kiyama over there.

Rangara: Don't need to remind me!

Athena: Wait you have?

Adeline: After the battle was over, i came directly down here and started playing. My violin can be heard pretty easily as i use an amplifier.

*Adeline reached into her pocket and pulled out her bey and held it up to Bella*

Adeline: And since you came to me to battle me then let's battle.

*Bella nodded and she held up her bey too*

Bella: Yeah, let's do it!

*The group headed to the Sparking Legend Tour Cruise Ship and found the nearest stadium that they could find*

Adeline: So Obsidian Beherit huh? A bey apart of the Ultimate System, from what i've seen and heard about it, it sounds like a tough cookie.

Bella: And a tough cookie it is! Beherit with its special system can not be burst so easily.

Adeline: A Burst Stopper activated on a strong shoot.. i know.

*The Computer near them was switched on and the 1st battle was about to begin*

Computer: 1st Battle!!

*Both bladers take their positions and the battle was about to start*

Bella: Shield Athena... from what i was able to see, it definitely has a good ton of defense and stamina. With Beherit apart of the Ultimate System, that defense means nothing in the face of true attack power.

Computer: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Athena had taken the center very quickly as Beherit came charging in, its wings deployed perfectly*

Adeline: Now bring it on! Show us what you can do!!

Bella: Obsidian Shoot!!

*Beherit was starting to fire off a barrage of attacks at Athena but its defenses were holding up very well*

Bella: Keep attacking, Beherit!!

*Beherit clashes with Athena once again and but was launched back due to one of its small spikes*

Adeline: I told you Athena was able to do some crazy counterattacks..!

Bella: Tch... Keep going!!

*Beherit comes racing back in and starts to fire more and more attacks at Athena but none of them were doing any real damage*

Athena: It's like hitting a wall out there, Beherit can't break its defenses no matter how hard it tries..

Lane: It's incredible.. i've never seen a bey with that level of defense before.. I don't even think Lucifer has that much defense.

*Beherit hits the rim of the stadium and starts to pick up some crazy speed*

Adeline: That's fast..!

Bella: Knock them out of the ring! Obsidian Thunder!!

*Beherit comes charging in and one good hit was all it took to launch Athena into the air and it landed outside of the stadium and hit the ground with a clang*

Adeline: W-What the..?!

Computer: Obsidian Beherit, Over Finish! Bella Akazara earns 1 point!!

Bella: Yes! Victory is ours!!

*Adeline reached down and picked up her bey and looked over at her opponent*

Adeline: It's a little early to be celebrating, the battle isn't over yet.

Bella: Well i already know i'm going to win. Beherit will win with a burst next time!

Adeline: Oh the match will end with a burst alright, it's just you won't be the one performing the burst. Because my Shield Athena will be the one that bursts your Beherit.

*Adelines eyes began to glow with a fierce intensity as her aura began to glow, the intenseness in the air was a bit unnerving*

Bella: T-That's incredible.. the tension in the air is so thick..

Computer: 2nd Battle!

Bella: But no matter, i believe that we'll end this battle for sure.

*The 2 bladers take positions once again and the battle began*

Computer: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Athena was now circling around the center this time and Beherit came rushing in*

Bella: Blow them to pieces! Obsidian Shoot!!

*Beherit comes in for the attack but it missed as Athena dodged the blow*

Bella: W-What the..?!

Adeline: Let's go! Shining Pendulum!!

*Beherit was then trapped in the center and Athena was beating it around in a Dead Gravity style special move and Beherits lock was starting to move*

Bella: W-What is this?!

*Beherit was being thrown around a ton as it was taking a real beating*

Adeline: Finish it off now!

Bella: Beherit! Get out of there!!

*Beherit was hit hard and it flipped over Athena and landed outside of the ring that it had formed*

Adeline: W-What the?!

Bella: Beherit!!

Beherit: We've got this..!!

*Beherit was starting to speed up greatly as it traveled up the slope of the stadium, its Golden Sparkle glowing to life*

Bella: Let's go!!

Adeline: Athena! Fend them off!!

Adeline: This isn't good.. If Beherit succeeds with what its doing then Athena will stagger on itself and lose a ton of momentum, resulting in a Spin Finish and a loss for me..

*Beherit was beating Athena even harder and the ring was shrinking even more*

Adeline: Go! Athena!!

*Athena used the ring on its Atomic' Driver to make a quick getaway and it charged up the slope of the stadium quickly*

Bella: W-What?!

*Athena came back in and took the center as it had plenty of stamina to spare and Beherit was only getting started*

Bella: You'll see what Beherit can really do, now get ready!

*Beherit was coming in hot as its blades were glowing brightly*

Bella: Obsidian Thunder!!

Adeline: Shield Guard!!

*The Golden metal within the layer of Athena was glowing bright as a barrier of gold energy was now surrounding it and deflected Beherits attack*

Bella: Impossible!

Rangara: That's incredible.. it's like a full on shield protecting the bey!!

Athena: She really pulled that move out last second, Obsidian Thunder would've ended the battle right there.

Lane: I guess she isn't as strong as we thought, she's really getting desperate now.

Adeline: It's not getting desperate. Athena cannot be beaten just by pure attack alone.. Like i already told you, Athena is the ultimate defense type bey in the world. This pure defense you see now is the beauty of its true power which i will demonstrate shortly..

Bella: Tch..!!

*Beherit was still attacking with all it had but Athenas defenses were repelling it*

Bella: Beherit..!!!

Adeline: And now, i'll show the true depths of Shield Athenas power!

*The barrier disappeared and Athenas sharp daggers were starting to glow brightly as they looked like they were getting ready for a huge counterattack*

Lane: That doesn't look good, it just lowered its defenses!

Athena: Yeah..!

---

Adeline: Rise up! Athena!!

*Beherit climbed the slope of the stadium and knocked Athena out of the center but it was immediately now going on the move*

Bella: Once again! Obsidian Thunder!!

*Athena used the ring of its Atomic' Driver and it was redirected straight for Beherit and it was coming in hot*

Adeline: Do it now! Atomic Crash!!

*The 2 beys collide with devastating force and the stadium blew up with a loud and fierce explosion and Beherits burst stopper was pushed back in and it burst instantly*

Bella: N-No way..!

Computer: Shield Athena with a Burst Finish! Adeline Hakase wins with a score of 2-1!!

*Adeline picked up her bey and Bella fell to her knees*

Adeline: Well that was fun..

*Adeline noticed Bella who was super frustrated from her loss just then*

Adeline: Bella, if you're staying in Japan for a while then i actually do live here. This place is my hometown and if you'd like, i'd be happy to train with you guys.

Athena: What are you saying?

Adeline: That Main guy.. he's likely still coming after you guys and i heard from Spain that he is creating a new bey. He's evolving Michael and he most likely already finished it already.

Bella: A new Michael evolution?

Athena: Do you know who his first opponent is?

*Adeline gulped, closed her eyes in disappointment and worry and sighed*

Adeline: It's you..

Athena: Me?

Adeline: There were reports of someone shouting your name in a beylab in El Santo, i'm willing to believe that Main is now out for blood this time and this time, i don't think he'll stop until he's actually destroyed Adeona.. are you sure you're ready?

Athena: I am.

*Bella got to her feet and looked at her sister*

Bella: You got this Athena! I believe in you!

Athena: Thanks but.. i don't really need y'all's help this time. This is something i need to do myself.

Bella: Athena..?!

Athena: Please... i have a lot to think about.

*Athena left the group for now and she went down into the dorm level of the cruise ship and surprisingly enough, the door still allowed her access inside it and to her surprise again, a lot of the stuff she left behind was still there but most of it.. was covered in cobwebs.*

Athena: Never thought i'd see this place again.. the good ol thinking dorm room.. where i came up with strategies to beat Lane.

*The door opened up and Lane entered the room too*

Athena: Lane?

Lane: So this is your little dorm room you occupied back then in the old days.

Athena: Yeah, i didn't do much in here. I never used the TV or game console or DVD player that often.. it was only a few days cruise and i was too busy coming up with strategies to defeat your silly ass.

Lane: Fair enough..

*The 2 sat down on the rather uncomfortable bed*

Lane: You know, you don't have to go into this situation alone you know.. Me and everyone else are there to help you.

Athena: I know you guys are but that's exactly the thing.. i can't let you guys get involved and possibly get hurt. Bella already faced his wrath and i got the answer i wanted, he was the one behind her corruption..

Lane: And?

Athena: AND if you were to fall under that same corruption again then i don't what i would've done.. i can't just go on another 2 month long journey just to bring you back the way you were before.. i cannot do that again.

Lane: You know me better than that.

Athena: What are you trying to say?

Lane: I'm taking over your battle. I'm battling Main in your place.

Athena: Lane, absolutely not!

Lane: Or what?! If the world wants to see another battle between you 2 then the world is going to wait and if they don't like it then they can cry about it! I want you to take all the time you need to be fully prepared for your battle.

Athena: Lane...

Lane: You're not going in this alone, if you're going down then you're going to go down knowing that we have your back all the way through.

*The rest of the group appeared at the doorway and tears were welling up in Athenas eyes*

Athena: You guys..

Bella: I have my own score to settle with Main but your battle with him comes first.

Rangara: The same with me but a battle between you and Main is something the world needs to see again.

*Athena smiled at the 2 and looked at Adeline and went over to her*

Athena: Adeline, what do you know about Main and Michael?
